The wrist joint (also known as the radiocarpal joint) is a synovial joint in the upper limb, marking the area of transition between the forearm and the hand.
Loved the plini archetype and didnt really know who Cory was until I started seeing more ads for this plugin and connected that he played a diy Pickup show awhile back....needless to say cory is now one of my top modern day heros 🖤
"When you get 6 bars to impress the president" is a youtube video that has a man named dave koz as one of the saxophonists. One of his bullet points when introduced is "- collabs with Cory Wong" pretty cool! This was during bill clintons presidency
Now we need Neural DSP to drop something that gets a bity Voxy. Most of their amps have way more gain than I use, but they sound great for what they are meant to do. The design and programming is certainly top notch.
100th Comment! - This Plug-in is Da Bomb. Lovin' It. I've been wanting a set of Classic Clean Tones for ages. Plini and Nolly cleans were excellent, but this is another level of throwback tone. Love it!
If I see 1 more of these damn plug-ins that has a tuner in it, when Archetype: Nolly still doesn't have it included...I'm gonna be pissed. It was requested many months ago.
@@evanhansen5064 I have a Peterson strobe tuner. That ain't the point. They've been promising an update. I would even accept "we're not doing it. Buy another one of our fantastic plug-ins for that feature".
That pedal is actually a midi controller. It is called an expression pedal, it's like connecting any midi knob to your computer to connect to any parameter in your DAW. The cool thing is that it is a knob for your foot, and you can sync it to a wah plug-in and use it. But even cooler, you can connect any *other* effect you'd like to your foot and play with it while playing your guitar, as if it were a wah pedal. I guess you can connect many different parameters to the same expression pedal, and set the limits if you don't want to use the whole spectrum of the parameter. In other words, the possibilities become infinite with what effects you can control and create with your foot, I see it as immense potential for those creative minds out there
I was told not to say this, but dang it I’m gonna say it anyway.... because it’s the truth. I f/@$&ng love neural dsp. They are the best tones in the world.....PERIOD.
I don't think so, I think the second must be a Fender type, he uses Fender, I believe a Super Reverb but don't quote me on that. The 3rd I am guessing is a Dumble sound, he does have a Dumble, why not model such a legendary amp that goes for hundreds of thousands of dollars nowadays if you have it at hand? I remember him telling the story he got it for really cheap out of a guy that had no idea what he had at hand.
Guys u should make possible to get more fx !! Like maybe some way we could add a fuzz pedal o chorus o phaser !!! in front or in fx loop !! That would be great !!
seeing as the DI funk amp is based on a direct-to-console sound, could one run the speaker output of a real tube amp into that and essentially use this as a cab sim? or would that not work?
He rolls the high end off so much. Makes me not impressed, cuz clear and crisp highs are very important. that's what you want to hear in a demo too, cuz guitar vst plugins mess up the highs often unless they truly rock. I'm going to try the demo.
The man loves the clean machine so much that he dressed like it :o
Wong - two - three
1, 2 Wongs don't make a right
Wong - two - three - Funk!
Four five Tim hehehe

cory has no wrist, just cartilidge.
thank you doctor
I just won a Neural DSP plugin from the JTC Jam of the Month and I think I'm gonna go for this one! Sounds sick!
Dude neural dsp is unreal! I cannot believe how far these guitar plugins have come.
It’s very cool and a great addition to Neural’s line up.

Just got it! amazing sounding pluggin, best one yet! thank you for put this on the map for funk guitar players!
10:16 Good Lord this is the dirtiest funky thing I heard this year. The stunk face is inevitable.
Lilypad from his latest release "The Striped Album"
This is the same song they use in the video titled "archetype: corey wong". I think the song is called lilypad but I may be wrong...
So happy Neural and Cory got this out. Hoping this gets a few more funk/blues archetype models on Neural.

Have you listened to the Tone King?
Respect. Great team-up. Thanks for all the work and passion which flew into that phenomenal plugin.
I've been a disciple of the DI clean sound for 40 years. Love the wah - instant Prince Kiss.
Love this guy, love Vulfpeck, love the way he shares his work and experiences. Thumbs up! :-)
Now we wait for PRS to release the John Mayer SilverWong plugin
HOW COME YOUR REVERB’S PURPLE!
it was the final beta. haha. i wanted it blue in the end
@@CoryWongMusic okay finnnnneeeee haha
you can't go W(R)ONG with this plug in. awesome. thanks for giving this.
Man that Strat appears to have serious gauge to the bottoms. Awesome stuff guys.
That right hand ain't light. That's where the punch lives
stock set of 10's!
@@CoryWongMusic 10s! They looked like power cables too me lol. Made me almost want to get a strat.... almost!
Just got it today and it is amazing!!!! So flexible and some great presets. Very pleased
Great review! Great plugin!
Nice, now I want Archetype: John Mayer (life would be complete).
his tones are so overrated. he is so overrated.
@@whatskraken3886 you clearly haven't seen him with Dead & Co. Go learn some good stuff before commenting here.
That man has the groove
That song at the end is awesome
Seems like the most versatile complementary set to any of the other ndsp plugins.

On sale at the moment. Bagged it yesterday.
best guitar plugin I ever bought
Neural Dsp 🔥

Yes i agree.
Lol cry more.
do you not have any other ways to tune your guitar? there is a whole lot of ways to do it, some probably easier than plugins
@@evanhansen5064 I have a Peterson strobe tuner. That ain't the point. They've been promising an update. I would even accept "we're not doing it. Buy another one of our fantastic plug-ins for that feature".

i read that with ryuk's voice.
Great playing men!
How to connect wah pedal with DAW from this video?
What a name of song in 10:15?

The song is called Lilypad by Cory Wong!
Love this plugin so much! Would there be any chance of getting a nice lil chorus in there one day?
@Stysner what happened??
They Added one
I own it. It's FANTASTIC.
Fine - Take my money.
Is he using a line 6 hx stomp as an audio interface?
I was told not to say this, but dang it I’m gonna say it anyway.... because it’s the truth. I f/@$&ng love neural dsp. They are the best tones in the world.....PERIOD.
Who told you not to say that
Is the wash a spring reverb?
is any of these amps modeled to the roland jc120 amp?

How can I connect a wah pedal to the plugin ? Newbie here please help!!!
You can use a MIDI foot controller
Corey Wong really doesnt like frequencies over about 8k it seems... 😂
Sounds so good. And like that it’s a curated selection. Too bad it requires the iLok® nonsense.
ilok doesn’t require a usb drive anymore. You can just activate to your desktop with a free account. Super easy.
@@kalebmyers9146 yeah but still you need to install the software with the device driver and a Windows service I guess, am I right?
@@PaoloC. no, just a simple installation like any other program
Awesome plugin.
The Wong and only
A good Fender strat sounds good with everything, even a simple DI.
🐐
Where’s the 36% off?
Pretty impressive Cory
Anyone know the song names?
seeing as the DI funk amp is based on a direct-to-console sound, could one run the speaker output of a real tube amp into that and essentially use this as a cab sim? or would that not work?
Of course. I would just go through the out on your amp so there isn’t extra coloration.
Yea but can it do bass
9:21
You commented way too soon. XD
introduce archetype : CW, like : toted tone totetet, tenonet 4x
I have used the preset and currently waiting for a deal on it but on this video it mostly sounds disgusting

Why is the reverb section so noisy?
Cory Wong playing Cory Wong using the Cory Wong plug-in
that's sick but doesn't Cory Wong usually play with a clean tone?
"Clean" yes, but not literally. It's always compressed, and he often uses a clean boost as well - not to mention reverbs and delays
all the guitar (and bass) sounds that he demoed here seems muffled to me. don't know...other demos of this plug-in on yt sounds better IMHO.
@Stysner yeah very flat but cool
this man is pure evil
Archetype: Tom Morello ?
Good news!
Generic pop.. lol.. Daft Punk right there 💜 Is this your home studio?
I think I´m gonna like this plugin, but I HATE funk and this seems to be all about ... funk.
I'm replacing my home practice amp with this, playing now, it sounds absolutely phenomenal. I mostly use headphones anyway.
