I enjoyed the video but I would suggest using a microphone... even using a low budget mic like Fifine or any other mic I believe will be an added value to your videos and make your videos more watchable💐🙏🏻
Enjoying the series. I used to collect as a kid in the 90's and early 2000's. Im thinking about getting in to playing. The lore of the heracey is great. It seems like the game may be good too
I actually do play an Imperial Fists Armoured spearhead. And it’s fun! I got blown away by an Alpha Legion ambush but it’s fun! Enjoying this series! For the Emperor!
Been impressed with how much character everything has despite just about every unit being shared across the legions. Figured I could just pick the favorite color and go but the more I read the Liber Astartes, the more story ideas pop into my head.
Come from a similar background. Fantasy in the early 90s, then 40k. Played other gw stuff but started Horus hersey when 2nd edition dropped. Love the books & now I'm building upwards of 5000 pts of word bearers with once assault marines drop going Raven guard. Love it so much more story driven a lot of fun. Got a group that meets up every month of about 6/12 of us when life doesn't get in the way.
Yeah haha were working on it. budget is part of the issue right now since its all financed out of pocket, but were getting there. Appreciate the support! its definitely helping us get to where we need to finance new equipment and such.

Hey guys Enjoying the videos, I got into HH1.0 way back, then had the “kids” break, just came back to the hobby 40K and more importantly 30k, just started from scratch and love the 7th rules as that’s what I played last in 40K
I kinda got the Heresy bug when Age Of Darkness was dropping. Got a sizeable collection of Blood Angels now and have to admit it's starting to appeal more to me than 40K, which just feels dumbed down now and lacks any granularity in list building.
+ The Lore in 40K is now _woefully _*_inadequate *_** in it's ability to move the story forward past the 40,001 timeline (everything since *The Gathering Storm* has been sub par at best & horrendous at worst )
For me there is a few elements as to why I prefer 30k over 40k. 1) I can play my legion night lords as night lords. 40k doesn't allow me and I have a great framework to do that 2) the narrative 3) the rules are the same rules from the previous editions and I have much better recall
I also came from 40k. The games became more and more competitive.... Did not feel like I was playing for fun any more. People alwasy took the best options.
I got into the hobby a little over 3 years ago and got super invested in 40k. I really wanted to get Age of Darkness, but when 10th dropped and they said you can’t use HH models in 40K anymore I completely lost interest. I’m more casual but I still like to play a little competitively on occasion. If I had way more disposable income I’d probably still pick up the box, but I’m way too into 40k for how much I can afford despite how much I love the Horus heresy series.

In our two day 3,000 point events, people show up with Warhounds pretty regularly. Those are totally manageable. I assaulted one with a 10 man Rampager squad and killed it! It blew up and killed the whole squad as well, but worth it! Our community is pretty lucky i think. With just the players in my shop we have about 15+ titans amongst us. We are actually planning a game of Titanicus this spring, but using full size titans. =)

Yeah totally. Content was great and the audio wasn't terrible but a proper mic and some mixing goes a long way.
@@sonicwingnut yes, the content is excellent and I was looking for videos like this when I first got into Horus Heresy.
Working out the kinks, so thanks for the feedback. we are testing new audio setups and we're making a studio to get rid of the echo!

The game is fantastic! with the modelling side, lore side, and the gaming side, its an all around good hobby to have.
@@WobblyGoblinAdventures Thanks mate

You get it! Sounds cringe, but having fun and creating a story is all part of the experience
Been impressed with how much character everything has despite just about every unit being shared across the legions. Figured I could just pick the favorite color and go but the more I read the Liber Astartes, the more story ideas pop into my head.
the narrative aspect is limitless! love the lore.

life makes it hard to get solid hobby time in. good for you for sticking with it!
Im playing soh just beacuse of the lore i been reading the books for many years but the horus narrative is just amazing
Good man. The 16th is the ONLY legion
playing a faction based on the lore you're drawn to is always the right decision
Lapel mics would add so much production value to this. Looking forward to seeing all our guys’ content in the future!

Life happens. Thats why I'm glad the game has lasted as long as it has!
I kinda got the Heresy bug when Age Of Darkness was dropping. Got a sizeable collection of Blood Angels now and have to admit it's starting to appeal more to me than 40K, which just feels dumbed down now and lacks any granularity in list building.
The narrative "fluff" is everything

great preferences to have!

the best option is to play what you find is "fun". hard to do in 40k.
I got into the hobby a little over 3 years ago and got super invested in 40k. can never have too many hobbies! try trading if you're wanting to make the jump. sometimes it can make the entry into HH much easier!
I have had the same journey with heresy, 40k has gotten too competitive and overwhelming to keep up with...
it's only a hobby if you're having fun. otherwise its work, except without a paycheck lol!
