- I may have just found the most entry-level version of an authentic Hulk 181 that money can buy, in the midst of this AWESOME collection! I buy collections like this every week! Need some money? don't go to comic shops and get robbed: sell to me and get a great value for it all!

What made you want to sell?
I love comics for what comics are, and I bought this collection to read and make my own channel on comics people wanted, and let's read them and enjoy them. But with the people fighting over who's collection is better, what grading company is better, or who copy is better than everyone else? I just didn't see the point anymore. Comic just didn't seem fun anymore. I read my copies, and now I will just walk away.
@@loganmaverick6677 ahh makes sense, I sold half my childhood collection couple years back and felt a burden lifted. Fast forward to today I somehow started a whole new one lol
That was an awesome collection. Sometimes I think about not collecting anymore and just reading them online. For now though, I shall still collect.
There must be more to the hulk 181 to get a purple label. Missing centerfold gets you a green label or a blue label at .5.
Not even gonna mention that Hulk 181 sitting on the counter next to your water bottle? ;)

Great collection James! I'm the guy who came into the antique shop about a month ago with two buddies and you said to give us 10% off anything wolverine and Batman. Bought some ASM macfarlane and first Dakan off the rack from ya! Shop looks great with tons of slabs and runs man, ill be back soon enough.
That's my kind of collection. Lots of cool books, and I agree with his likely feeling that low grade is better than no grade. Comics that were read and loved. I don't do copy covers, though, personally. My coverless are coverless.
James,great books. I am very interested in your TMNT#1 3rd print so when are you doing another show? TMNT#1 is the last book I need to complete my collection of 17 years then I am done collecting copies sadly but there is just nothing else I want cause a X-Men#1 and Batman#1 is out of my reach but it's been fun hunting down all those comics I have gotten over the years.
That collectors edition is a Whitman variant. Might be more rare/valuable than the regular one.

I don't think a missing centerfold gets a purple label from CGC--it would have gotten a green label. There is some other restoration going on. Based on the rest of the collection, I'd bet there is some kind of married cover thing going on.

I’ve got a foreign version of amazing Spiderman 7. Paid about 50 for it. Not overall expensive but fucking awesome haha as there is no way I can afford the English cover 😅😊
My hulk 181 cgc 7.0 and uncanny x men 1 cgc 4.5 am so proud

That Amazing Fantasy 15 reprint is a Portuguese edition (Portugal) from March 1983. Not sure how much is worth it but I am curious to know...
I do think I have a copy of that somewhere...
1:26 The AF #15 reprint is a Portuguese title (not Brazilian) named "O Espectacular Homem-Aranha" despite ”O Fabuloso…" being printed on the cover. It is issue #2, cover (or indicia) dated "Março (March) 1983 and the publisher is "Distri Editora."
As far as price goes, I have no earthly idea. But maybe this info will assist you in being able to price it accordingly. Good luck.

Issue 1 has the first adventure, AND features Ditko's rejected original cover to AF 15. Issue 2 has the AF 15 cover but reprints Amazing Spider-Man 1 and I think 8. Please see the sadly underused but immensely useful Grand Comics Database.
@@markleneker9923 I used the GCD to get the information that I offered, though I didn’t notice that it reprinted ASM #1. I am currently the 138th highest contributor to the database and I have learned so much from it. It is a tremendous resource.
That Superman-Ali is a Whitman variant that might add a bit more value. I have a copy, not nearly as nice, great collection!
