Castle, hell yeah! The new album is fantastic 🤘
Yes it is really solid start to finish
Just discovered 4arm, Meshiiak (City of Ghosts), Frozen Soul, Warfect, Once Human, Forn, Hemelbestormer Void, (Dolch) Halo, Fvnerals, Living Hollow, and Eye of the Enemy The Shift
Cool, will add them to my list! Only know Frozen Soul from you suggestions
Cloak (from Atlanta, Georgia USA) is another band I’m loving these days. Black metal with some Tribulation influence I think, really good stuff
checked them now, sounds good
I love how diverse these videos are..there truly is for everyone here
love Orbit Culture and Dool, especially live
I need to check the last band out
Yes I always need some diversity in what I listen to myself so I decided to make these videos reflect my own preferences. I might do some more specials later where I maybe narrow down the genre a bit but majority of these will be like this, with 5-6 bands that not all sound the same somehow. Thanks for watching
Bands I’ve recently discovered and truly LOVE now… Nornir (incredible melodic black metal)… Temple Guard (UK hardcore - aggressive, heavy, nice riffs)… Deitus (blackened death but maybe more black metal, either way… cracking stuff).
Great, added all three to my list now. thanks for watching
Thanks for recs. Never heard of Castle, like their sound. Here's a couple other female fronted metal bands that recently discovered that are worth checking out.
Sanhedrin who are from NY play classic metal influenced by NWOBHM. Their last album Lights On came out during Covid in 2022.
Fatal Fire who are a power metal band from Germany released debut album Arson earlier this year. Check out guitar solo on the song Kingslayer!
Yes indeed, Sanhedrin are great! Good mention. For other female fronted bands, check out Solicitor and Blood Star from the US and Tanith, with members from the UK and US. Russ Tippins of NWOBHM legends Satan and Pariah, is their guitarist and founder. Stygian Crown too, from the US, a very, very promising epic doom band, with two albums so far. Let's not forget Avatarium from Sweden and Lucifer from Germany. Thanks for recommending Fatal Fire. Listening to them right now and yes, they're promising. I like her voice quite a bit. Re releases of oldies but goldies the last couple of years, were last year's remastered re-release of the 1990 Count Your Blessings album from Malteze (thank me later about this forgotten US jem) and a compilation titled Undercover Of The Night from 80s British band Phantasm, by Cult Metal Classics Records.
Great thanks for the tips and for watching
Lucifer was on my earlier episode, great band
Castles library is amazing!!!!! So glad they are back
Finally you mention Orbit Culture ❤
Sort of had them in my back pocket for a while, they actually should have been on much earlier
REMINA! Cosmic doom perfection! Thank you for providing exposure to some great talents.
Thanks for watching and the tip
Orbit Culture is great…I saw them recently as well. I’ve been listening to Gatecreeper since the last video I saw. Good stuff.
If you haven’t heard Paleface, I’ve seen them live…solid punk edged deathcore.
Will check Palceface, thanks for the tip and for watching
Orbit Culture 🤘Dool caught my attention and will give them a spin and the last band as well
Great, the new Dool album is pretty good, the last band I can take in appropriate doses! Thanks for watching
THANKS FOR WATCHING! And please tell me what you think of these bands?

Thank you for recommendation, my friend! Great video!
Hugs! 🤗
Obrigado
I agree with Orbit Culture. I've been telling others about them. But the band you mentioned that I love right now is Spiritworld. That short live clip you showed does them no justice. Everyone should check out the Deathwestern album. Pagan Rhythms is awesome too. They shred
I saw Orbit Culture a few months ago…I love them. I actually saw Spiritbox in September. Really good show.
Yes Deathwestern is a great album, was doubtful if I should show the live clip but thought it would be fun since I had it. But yes, doesn't show the full potential of them
Orbit Culture will be the next big thing. They will headline festivals in five years.
@@MRMESQ1 spirit box is a different band than Spiritworld. Give Spiritworld a shot. They are awesome.
@@richardulrich9001…totally misread your comment. I’ll give them a listen.
I really love Four stroke Baron. I have their three latest albums on vinyl. Data Diamond is incredible.
Yes very interesting album
Nice list.
Blood incantation and livlos on repeat here.
Thanks.
Blood Incantation are pretty good, I need to check the other one out, thanks
I discovered HILD just a few days ago. Super aggressive Swedish thrash. They released a new album this month.
Yes heard them, very good band
Thanks a lot for the recommendations (AS ALWAYS I don't comment very often but I should do it more)!
For ONCE I already know a band ! --> Dool
I discovered them live at Hellfest 2019, watched them again with great pleasure at Hellfest this year (2024)
They are now touring with the great band Hangman's chair
I was VERY lucky to see hangman multiple times and one absolutely great concert at Hellfest with "Regarde les hommes tomber" --> they are made to play together
Dool is the kind of band that is generous live and I am going to see them within 2 weeks in Switzerland
Looking forward to beeing there
sounds good, unfortunately DOOL is not coming near me on this tour but Regarde Les Hommes Tomber I saw 2 or 3 years ago, pretty interesting band. Thanks for watching
If you like Spiritworld you need to check out early albums by Integrity. You will see a clear influence taken. Spiritworld got Dwid the singer of Integrity to feature on their track Moonlit Torture.
Ok will check them out, thanks for the tip
I think Witherfall is a really, really great band. US technical power metal, at its best. I've been a fan since their 1st album and they're in their fourth now, with this year's release called Sounds Of The Forgotten. Founded by their guitarist Jake Dreyer. Singer Joseph Michael sang for White Wizzard's 2013 The Devil's Cut LP and also happens to be RJ Dio's cousin...He also seems to have replaced the late Warrel Dane at Sanctuary's recent reincarnation.
Another great prog/power band is Psychoprism and they have two albums. Great material that draws from 'Ryche, Crimson Glory and Symphony X. Greek, crazy technical speedsters Sacral Rage, are very talented and surely worth mentioning band. I'm expecting great future releases from them. They're now in their 2nd album.
The comeback of Swedish epic doomsters Sorcerer, these last 8 years was just epic. With 4 back to back awesome albums, they rightfully lead the scene. Godthrymm from UK too and the Danes, Altar Of Oblivion are certainly plenty hopeful. Mythosphere too, with ex Fates Warning guitarist Victor Arduini, was a brilliant release in the epic doom subgenre.
This year's comeback of legendary US progsters Inner Strength, was such a pleasant surprise and a delightful listen, too. With a singer called Oliva, you can never go wrong...
As thrash metal goes, Suicidal Angels from Greece, are consistently high quality. British thrashers Shrapnel are also very much worth mentioning, as their first three albums from 2014 to '20 were nothing short of kick arse thrash mayhem and all that, despite this year's fourth LP, in which they seem to permanently have changed to an average, run of the mill metalcore material.
As for traditional heavy stuff, bands that stood out the last 3 to 4 years are the Austrians Roadwolf and Venator, Night, Air Raid, Sintage, The Night Eternal and Screamer from Sweden, Sunless Sky, High Spirits, Haunt, Antioch, Silver Talon, Stygian Crown, Sanhedrin, Space Vacation, Sumerlands, Fortress, Hammerstar, Royal Hell Solicitor and Ironflame from the US, Toxikull from Portugal, Germans Lunar Shadow, Lucifer, Kerrigan and Tyran, British Tanith, Toledo Steel, Eliminator, Phantom Spell, Wytch Hazel and Midnight Force, the Australians Spectre and finally the Canadians Traveler, Riot City, Freeways and Spell...Pheww! I made it alive! Rock on!
Oh man, you just gave me weeks worth of work to go through! Thanks a million for all these tips and for watching
Four Stroke Baron is a great band, very original but very confusing and which can displease at first listens. but it's definitely worth taking your time before moving on to something else. their album ‘classics’ is excellent!
On the opposite i liked Spiritworld at the first listen, super efficient, so much energy!
👃Thanks for your recommandation, i will listen to the other bands that i dont know at all.
Great to hear you liked it, thanks for watching
Orbit Culture is so damn good and finally starting to get more notice.
yes when I discovered them a few years back I was actually surprised they weren't bigger to be honest
@@metalandrockzone It's always great to find those hidden gems. Then I just have to laugh when you think you are on to some new band and find out they've been around for like 10 years.
Newest for me are Hidden Mothers. They're posty, but catchy. And Swamp Coffin. Dirt dirty sludge. And Unverkalt. I've liked them for a year or two, but I always suggest them. Kinda post industrial with a vocalist who sounds like Julie Christmas. Epic.
Need to check those, thanks for watching and the tips
Check out FOR I AM KING from the Netherlands. Found them a few weeks ago and this blew my mind. The song LIAR is just f***ing awesome!
thanks for the tip, will put them on my list
Orbit Culture's album Nija is incredible from start to finish. Descent is spoiled by production, I feel, but still great.
Yes agree, Nija is a great album
Orbit Culture is amazing. A lot of people know them. I'm still pushing for the Gideon and Upon Burning Body for you to check out.
yes they are sitting on my list waiting for processing :)
Check out a band called Velvet Rush. They’ve just released a single “Euphonia”. Only one song so far and a 5 track ep and album are in the pipeline. If the song is anything to go by, the album will be class. Great female vocalist 🤘
Listening now, sounds good. Will for sure have them on my radar.
Spiritworld is fantastic
Yes they are very very good
Here's a couple great bands from Finland: Kaunis Kuolematon and Marianas Rest. Check them out!
thanks, adding them to my list now
Spiritworld is sick, also, if you’re into crossover thrash, you should give us, Acid Sentence, a listen.
Mix of Power Trip and Municipal Waste.
Ok will check them, thanks for watching
I can’t understand the not liking Meshuggah deal. Just listen to their older album Destroy Erase Improve:
Songs - Future Breed Machine, Soul Burn, Suffer In Truth. It’s not all that different from Fear Factory honestly.
I don't get it either beacuse when I see them live I see people fkn love it and Im just like not getting it.
@@metalandrockzone From a live experience, what Meshuggah does from a lighting perspective to match their syncopated riffs is one of the more impressive things you can see period. Just take 15 minutes and listen to those songs listed above and maybe it’ll click. Thanks again for your quality content.
Orbit Culture rules.
Pretty good band I agree
Orbit Culture are so horribly underrated! I'd go so far as to say that they are the best metal band out there right now! All the great elements are there, hints of early Metallica, melodic sensibilities of In Flames, heaviness of Lamb of God, big sound-ness of Slipknot, speed of Slayer...all rolled very expertly into one! The fact that they have under 500, 000 listeners on Spotify is fucking criminal!
I can't say I disagree because this band is amazing
Recently discovered the band truth and tragedy.......awesome band
listening now, interesting stuff
I just discovered you yesterday, so please excuse me if you already covered the band manegarm. I found them end of last year and I really like them also.
Hellbutcher
Snakehandler Church
Both good!
Will add them to my list, thanks for the tips
VERMILIA and IGNEA are 2 underrated bands at the moment...
I know both of them, but need to check more, thanks for watching
Four Stroke Baron , Planet Silver Screen Album worth a look !
🤘
Spirit world is sick
Yes great band in cool cowboy outfits!
Plenty late on Orbit Culture. Dool sounds cool going to spin them a bit. Agree on Meshuggah. Musically no one comes close it’s just the repetitive vocals that just.dont.fucking.change.
Thanks for watching
Spiritworld are onto something. For fans of who you say, plus I would only add Enforced, who I like, too, but they definitely have a sound and vibe of their own.
I get similar jollies from Orbit Culture that I get listening to Sylosis but they maybe lay down extra layers of polish on the top, that I don't really want. I prefer Sylosis but I wish them many fans.
I'm looking forward to a new, stripped back, kind of Death Metal album by a band called Primal Code, on Relapse, soon, by the way. Their pre-album release, a song called Anapsid, sounds like a 'must buy' to me.
I hear a lot of love for the music of P J Harvey in that Dool song. Album sounds quite varied. Heavy in places. Future listens required.
Will bookmark Four Stroke Baron for future listens, too, as they sound nice and weird, like they could be full of surprises.
Yes true actually on PJ Harvey and DOOL, not sure why I didn't make that connection myself when I was listening to them. Sylosis are great, saw them this summer and might go see them again next year.
@@metalandrockzone Cheers. I don't want to be a pest but I've got to say:
It didn't take long to realise that, that Dool album, The Shape Of Fluidity, is stunning! Maybe because I am very familiar with the alternative rock of the 90's but I love it when Rock/ Metal is done with a bit of that kind of song writing influence but played heavy a.f., like they do.
They're not like Kylesa but they remind me of them, in as much as, it sounds like they have an encyclopedic knowledge of the kind of music they're involved in playing, but without sounding like ripoffs.
I almost felt I was alone on Meshuggah lol I've never been able to get into them
I think thats it, we are two on that boat
@metalandrockzone lol it sure seems like it!
Freeze The Fall-Daughters Of Witches, official video.
thanks for the tip
Castle rule!!!
🤘
Orbit Culture is AWESOME 🤘
Yes great band
HIGH PARASITE!
Check 'em out
added them to my list now, thanks for the tip and for watching
Meshuggah are gods, just not your gods, which is OK :)
Yes and I am fully aware that I am the minority there, when I see them live I see how everyone loves it, except me
Don't like technical, huh? Bet, you hate Archspire, then. 😋
He’s just giving his personal opinion that’s all. Your opinion is that you like technical and Archspire
@@HaakonOdinsson no idea what prompted you to this recap tbh. Yup, two differing opinions and a 😋 the meaning of which you may want to look up again.
Archsphire I saw live, they were pretty good
@@OneViolentGentleman I apologise unreservedly, I misunderstood the intention
Nah, you're right, they just dont get called out with their bull @HaakonOdinsson
It's over for wanna be musicians.
🤘
