    Looking forward to your success. When we finished grad school almost 20 years ago, my roommates were buying Maseratis, Porsches, etc. Growing up a poor immigrant I didn't go that direction and set aside about 15k/yr for index funds in my 401k. You can do that math on how that went ... I threw money into risky plays but stayed the course on index funds dollar cost averaging and dumping large amount during COVID as well.

      hahah. You make a point. I think people who have reached a $1mill net worth or more have shown long-term (10+ years) of discipline. Also it's a big number tbh
