Nice to see another GTI with almost my same build, I do want to add the limited slip diff soon, not sure what he meant by stage 4 DSG, there is a stage 1 and a limited diff addition. Great video showing the setup.
How to improve your Mk6’s rear end:
Quad exhaust and upgraded diffuser. #delicious!
Stage 3 is expensive, but it really brings out the strengths of the Gen II FSI motors and the lightweight Mk6 chassis. 👌❤️👊🇩🇪

Nice car man, love the quad tips, don't see that often on GTIs :P I've considered quad tips for my MK6 (same year) and still not sure.
Clean build! K04 is stage 2+ The stage 3 is the GTX turbo
Stage 3 is when you swap your stock turbo to anything other then the what the car came with if he put the GTX turbo he would be considered big turbo
Wrong.. big turbo is stage 3.. ko4 is stage 2+... I'm tuned through untronic and my ko4 tune is 2+.. 3 is big turbo.. ko4 is a stock r turbo.. that's not considered a big turbo

I would gladly pay 14 for his car. That thing is a monster! I'm on a stock 2013, looking at what to upgrade.
Check out the channel, a lot of what’s going into the mk5 is applicable to the mk6…I even have a full k04 kit for the mk6 platform.

@@Quattrogame_pro I got the heart but the pockets don’t agree might just send a meth kit at the ko4x and see what it do maybe hit close to 350wheel if possible

Gtx2867 kit from APR?
I saw it's a k04
It is but he took the car to apr to do a custom tune for his car because his first dyno numbers didn’t match the quoted hp
How much does a build like this cost with labor? $10K?
Depending on who installs it but much less if you shop around first … good k04 setup cost about $3000 in parts and labor varies. But a good working car is the best way to make sure the labor is a one time thing.
@@Quattrogame_pro Agreed, should definitely start with a healthy engine. The APR K04 kit looks pretty good since it comes with the tune. It sounds like this one probably has all boltons, a FMIC, and WaveTrac LSD at the very least. I've read that the labor on installing the LSD is pretty pricey!
@@StockDC2 definitely swapping to lsd and doing all these upgrades to a front wheel drive car honestly probably isn’t worth it if you value you’re grip lol
.. TT and A3 Quattros are probably a better platform and a TTS/golf r
comes with everything you would have to buy.
It ends up being cheaper in most cases to buy a 10-15k TTS/golf R rather than spending and extra 5-8k on a GTI.
@@StockDC2 and the Apr kit does come with a tune, but honestly it’s over priced.
@@Quattrogame_pro There aren't any TTS or Rs around me for less than $20K unless they have issues/very high miles. But yeah, probably better/more fun to go with AWD since I imagine 1st and 2nd being useless.
Kinda crazy what guys are paying in the US for these mods. Not even a custom tune? Generic flash maps are a no go. To put it into perspective k04 kits can be bought for £500 in the UK. I'd say UK is the king of the tfsi tuning scene, nowhere can get the figures rtech can. My edition 30 running 395bhp and 440ftlbs. Decat exhaust, revo intake, vis hpfp, wellycooler is all you need.
