      Samir Alyasin This is an MK6 produced in Europe 2008-2013 & in US 2010-2014. An easy way to spot an MK6 compared to MK7 is the more rounder rear lights on MK6, while the MK7 have more angleded "Angry Looks" Its fun detail to spot, since the MK5 had even more round rear lights, almost egg shaped.. ;)

    I have a Mark 6.5 Jetta GLI with a CTS 67 millimeter dual ball bearing Turbo & Unitronic stage 3 software for both the ECU & DSG. I have zero DSG problems unlike the featured car. I use to run APR software on my car & I had DSG shift problems.

    My stock clutch had to be upgraded within days of a turbo upgrade. Also, surely he is aware there is software available for the dsg trans. No, no, no don't take it around corners. No noticeable body toll, also no traction on the rear wheels.

    • @robertolugo3808
      @robertolugo3808 7 лет назад

      You don't have to, for APRs Stage 3 GTX/K04 they recommended All the supporting bolt ons of course, but as far as internals they recommend some valve work to prevent valve lift. However plenty of owners have it on their 93 Tune and daily it fine.
      If you are going to the strip often and autocross etc, get that head work, can't be too safe. For a daily driver/commuter? Good to go

    • @BoostedMK6
      @BoostedMK6 7 лет назад

      Big turbo doesn't have valve float issues. Just the k04 since it runs out of air top end. I've ran my car hard and pushed it to its limits at the track and street. Motor is still holding strong.

    200bhp stock ? They state 204bhp to the wheels but there actually about 220bhp to the wheels out of the factory ahha.. VW for you 😋👌

    • @whorutothink
      @whorutothink 5 лет назад +1

      Actually, they're not...you're looking at APR's charts which are basing their numbers on a dyno connected directly to the engine, not a rolling wheel dyno. They are actually making around 180-190 whp and with the 'stage 1' flash they make between 220-230 whp, so APR's 'stage 3' kit making around 350 whp seems about right when you account for drivetrain loss.
