Some guy who looked like a weirdo like the guy in the video was seeing the movie by himself, and he sat in some seats that were reserve by 3 young guys and he refused to move, when they demanded he move he stood up all aggressively and raised his voice like this and threatened them saying “he didn’t take 10 years of karate for nothing” it was tense, the lights went on and everyone in the packed theatre was watching it. A bunch of staff came and had to remove him, the theatre clapped when he exited the door. It was a better spectacle than the movie. Lmao

That woman was great. De-escalated. Offered things and made it seem like he was in control. That's a great way to handle these kinds of people for the greater good of everyone else. If she was rude or condescending, he would have dug his heels in.
I honestly think that the only reason that he was more civil with her was because she was a woman. These people tend to be old-minded and think that everyone should bow down to them. I have had similar instances while working in a movie theater, and I have found that if someone is constantly dissatisfied at a movie theater, god knows that they cause a lot more of a ruckus elsewhere.

There was a man who were sitting in our reserved seats and as we were coming down the row he was already looking to cause a scene by mumbling racist and misogynistic remarks to us. We tried finding another seat since we didn't want to deal with it but they were all reserved. I bit the bullet and got an employee to which the man started to berate the employee. I had enough and told him to ef off.

Glad my local theater gives you the choice to sit anywhere. You don't need assigned seating. Are we now in school or on an airplane? It's not hard to see why many often do not adhere to it. So if someone else sits in your seat, you gotta get them a shift. And considering this person is clearly the inattentive type, you don't know how they'll react. Often, they would say "Oh just sit anywhere." And you do but now you just sat in someone else's seat and now you're asked to move. It's just a miserable cycle that I'm glad I don't have to take.
I go to the AMC in my local area and you get to pick your own seats at the time of booking. It is not like the teacher signing a seat to a pupil in the k12 schools.
