That was a brilliant analysis. The part about Mark changing the rest of the world to resemble him was something I hadn't thought of and puts his character is a more sympathetic light. great work!!

There are some folks I hear who ignorantly label this as “the movie about Facebook” and dismiss it as overrated and boring, but those people are completely wrong. It’s a fantastic character study with amazing performances, excellent directing and a great story about how ambition can consume a person. It’s a modern masterpiece.

I love your comment about the movie's ending because it was the only thing I saw, that sad full circle stood out, in my first viewing of The Social Network. There's beauty in that irony a big social network and still be alone - t'was more my framing anyways. Anyways kudos to this piece man. I loved it.

MarcusHalberstram88 always, was about to post this video on reddit when I saw someone else got to it before me and I saw you in the comments. Glad to see you're trying to get these videos out to the public, reddits a bit of a crapshoot but I'm sure if you keep up this quality of editing, writing and have a little luck you'll get the views you deserve in no time.

I've said for a while that the social network is like the godfather part1 and 2 only cutting out the boring shit. The rise and fall and now I understand that it's more than that. Because instead of sitting on an empire of a family in a city or on a coast. Mark sits on top of the world all alone. Holy shit.

Just found your work through reddit and love it. Solid reviews. I think you nailed this review in every aspect. The most pivotal moments in the movie seem to be fueled by his desire to prove something to someone; specifically Erica Albright. It's such a basic motivation for something so grand. Being spurned by a former love provides the driving motivation to be something bigger, as you alluded to in your review.

Thanks for making this. There is so little content about the movie out there, and even though it was nominated for so many Oscars it seems like The Social Network was pretty much forgotten in the collective thought of pop culture. One thing that you didn't touch on was its incredible score, made by Trent Reznor!

WOW.. Just WOW. What an astoundingly in depth analysis of this movie. You've made me appreciate this movie even more than I did before. You've made me appreciate the director and the screen writer. I wish I had you as a literature teacher!! Kudos to you on a job well done! P.S. I've never done this before really, but I've subscribed only after watching your second video! The first? The assassination of Jessie James by the coward Robert Ford. The analysis with that movie was also good. :)

Hey man. I really like your channel, having stumbled upon it through reddit. I was thinking your channel might benefit from a bit of reformatting, namely through removing the "(and so can you)" from your title. It makes the title of each video a bit messy, and harder to scan them as a whole in search of movies that interest me. Additionally, it isn't the most attractive or official name upon seeing it. I know this is just for fun and all, but that's just somethiing I think might help your channel grow a bit more in popularity and gain the attention it deserves. Your content is awesome and I think warrants a lot more viewership.
