Completely agree. After decades of gun belt wearing, testing and heavy usage, on and off duty, I am sold on kore. I would say the best, most comfortable, easiest to adjust gun belt for any gun you might run. I just wish I had one years ago.
I have both the Kore Essentials X7 and the Groove belt. I do agree with the points you made. The thickness and rigidity of the Kore belt, along with the easy ratchet adjustment system, make it very effective for EDC. I bought my X7 after I got the Groove belt, and now I only use my X7. Recently bought a Nexbelt, but I haven't tried it out yet.
Spot on review, thanks. I have both belts. Safe to say that the groove life belt is perfect for a small gun such as a 2” snub. For anything else, I would use the Kore.
OK, quick question. 3rd belt choice. Would you choose a Kore belt if it had a Groove life magnetic buckle? Which buckle system do you like better to go with the thicker non stretch nylon belt?
Great Review. I am reviewing belts and noticed that Groove now has 4 to 5 categories of straps. Were you testing their tactical belt? I am looking at their new Leather Pro. Going back 60 + years and working with full grain leather, l find leather has lasted a good 70 + years of hard use and does not fail if maintained. 😊
Nice review. Prefer kore too you just can't beat them for solid ccw use in my experience. Will add the Kore also has large cool selection of buckles and belt styles. Looking at their site Groove belt has one style in dif colors.
I have 2 groove belts and both sag too much for edc esp when I draw the belt comes up. I have to hold the belt down in place sometimes. You made me want to try the kore out.
I do have both. I have worn both. With a pair of jeans and a Smith & Wesson shield plus the groove belt sags and does not do adequate job. I do not think it is a bad belt, but I do not think it is a good gun belt. Perhaps if you were wearing a light pair of pants with a very light gun, it might be ok. Maybe a light gun in a pocket carry situation, but the belt is not sturdy enough in my experience and with what I wear most of the time. I don’t think it’s a bad belt as far as belts go but again, I would give it 2 out of 10 as a gun belt.
I have them both, and to help everyone out, if you're a cop and Carry a lot of crap on your belt, then Kore hands down. But, if you're a reg fella who carries daily, then Groove Life all the way baby. You're welcome...
@@thetexasgunvault Can I ask you a question? I'm asking everyone I can this as well. I'm just trying to learn more and more every day. But, have you tried different belts before? For example, have you tried the Groove type stretch belts along with the Kore stiff types and what's your thoughts on the 2?
I have a Blue Alpha EDC which I imagine has very similar rigidity to the Kore. Problem is it’s too stiff and heavy. It feels like a steel band around my waist which is fine when standing, but terrible once I sit down. I’m hoping g the flex in the groove makes it more bearable
I go back and forth. I bought 2 GrooveLife OG belts originally. Was really happy at first, but noticed some sagging and belt movement with certain pants. Grabbed a Kore Belt based on a ton of research and reviews and was wearing it almost completely because it solved those issues. However, as a skinny guy, I find it harder to not print with the thicker Kore belts and became more self conscience about printing when just wearing a T. Plus, most of the Kore buckles are way bigger than should be for EDC, besides the X7. Looking at their site today, I'm still trying to find an X10 in my area and it looks like there is a newer C1 that might be worth trying out too). Anyway, what I like about this review is it's fair and realistic. No belt is going to do it all, in every situation, and with every clothes type. I think that having some options in your lineup will help you pick the best belt for the situation and occasion. Taking into account style, fit, comfort, rigidness, concealment, body shape and who knows what else, if you only have one option, you're stuck with it. But if you have 2 or 3 options, you can adapt as needed. On a last note - I just got a GrooveLife Ultra - pass on it for EDC. Too narrow to hold DCC clips correctly and because it has the Groove stretchiness, it can move around in your belt loops more when it's carrying some weight. It's not a bad belt, it's just not an EDC belt IMHO.

I feel the same way. I wish I would have found them sooner.

I want to that one too. I hope it works for you.
By far the best comparison video
I am humbled. Thank you

Thank you so much and I am glad you enjoyed the video.
@@thetexasgunvault thoroughly enjoyed it. Just subbed.

To be honest, the trackline is the best. I love the easy of micro adjustments.
Kore is all I wear. Mine is 42 months old works like a charm. Nice review.
They are the best no doubt
I bought a Kore belt for my EDC as well. They are excellent.
They are the best

Being an older video, their new line is updated.
Thank you for your feedback. Nice video.

They have a great selection of everything

You will not be disappointed with KORE.

All very good points.
Good morning, Jason, looks like a great product, could you ask the supplier if they sell into Oz, Cheers
Sure. Just check out Kore Essentials main website. I am sure they could do international shipping
Traded in my blue alpha belt for a black tactical kore belt last summer and I can say it is much better for edc or ccw or aiwb
I agree. Kore makes the best.

I use the Kore everyday.

I agree. The flexibility of a belt is important depending on how you plan to use it.
