You left out the giant swing and the tower you go up to for views (if they still have that one). I don’t have kids but Camp Snoopy is adorable. The water park (including adult swim up bar), and rapids lazy river, mini golf, really fast go karts, beaches and hotels are so nice. It feels like the ocean when swimming at the lake! Awesome video and loved seeing changes they have made!! It’s my dream to ride Steel Vengeance😎
Really enjoyed watching this. My wife and I worked three summers at The Point in the early 90's, and haven't been to the park since 2004 (or was it 2005?), and this video was a great way to not only bring back a lot of memories of countless hours spent at the park, but to see changes as well! But, as someone who worked Monster for those three summers, that new colorful paint job is dreadful - they need to bring back the old black and orange color scheme!!
FYI in many malls on the west coast Hotdog-on-a-Stick offers cheese on a stick. It's one of my favorite treats. Just letting people know in-case they travel here to the west coast.
Haven't been in years, this video brought back many memories. There's a lot of land in Forbidden Frontier, wonder if that area is a set up for more flat rides in the future.
The reason the site where Wild Cat used to stand was vacant when you arrived there was that the site was transformed into a plaza for events, something by that time had basically ended. Towards the beginning of the season, they had a monster truck ride there, with some models of Gravedigger, which had ended earlier that month. The next event was the light show you mentioned, which by that time I was working the day shift so I didn't get to see. By the time you had gotten there, vertical impact was the main event, and Luminosity Plaza (or the Millennium Midway as Area 2 park services) wasn't needed entirely for its space. I wish they would just stick to the "Island" instead of wasting a great spot for a potential smallish rollercoaster, maybe another family coaster due to its proximity to Iron Dragon, or a decently sized coaster if they were size consicious enough, because it eventually just got to the point where there was no reason to check half the cans there, except for the ones in front of the station and the one in front of Iron Dragon, simply because there was nothing to due unless it started to flood... which it did alot in the 2019 season due to just all the rain
Just a fun fact, cheese on a stick is big in some parts of Ohio, I know it’s at many county fairs in NE Ohio. If you are ever at the famous Great Geauga county fair in NE Ohio, make sure to get a Middlefield swisscheese on a stick. It is to die for
I totally get this! I fall asleep to his videos all the time. His voice is just so calming. I'm from PA and Kenny wood is one of my home parks, and I can't tell you how many times I've fallen asleep to that one.
As a really small kid 40 something years ago I had my first corn dog. It was at Cedar Point. My grampa handed me one. I remember looking at it and thinking, WHAT IS THIS big weird thing on a stick? My 1st response to a corn dog was- Hey! There's a HOTDOG in there!!! I have been eating them heavily dunked in yellow mustard, and nibbling off the extra fried crispy part stuck on the stick, ever since! ❤
This is kind of sad looking at compared to what it was when I was a kid...looks like they took out so many awesome rides and filled them all in with roller coasters...
Jay, you definitely have a voice for radio which makes your videos even more pleasing to watch. Thank you for the upload. Maybe one day I will run into you at the park, I am there every couple weeks!
Jay, are you sure Knoebels doesn't have Cheese on a stick? I know I'm getting old and my memory may be failing me, but I'm pretty sure the first time I experienced cheese on stick was at Knoebels. I seem to recall the stand being over by the whip.
Knoebels serves what they call "cheese-on-a-stick", but it's actually more like three mozzarella balls on a skewer. They're not made the Cedar Point way, with corn meal batter and American cheese.
The fact that the new area is all around Millennium Force is awesome. Like you really get all up in that thing, plus it’s a nice soothing area coming off the chaotic midway. But you have to get to Charlotte to ride Fury. Nothing, not even Millennium Force, can compare to Fury.
Excellent video I'm going in July it's been 19 years since I've been last
Great video of my favorite theme park. Can't wait to go back! Keep making great content!
3:42 Those giant yellow SUPPORTS
The only thing I hate about Cedar Point its how crowded it is every Saturday & Sunday but, on the weekdays its less crowded.
At the millennium force part is saw that ride on the lift hill
Love! Thank you a lot!
Anyone else just watching this to get thru covid? Cannot wait for this to be over, I can't wait to go back! Great video

Cedar Point is the best!! A slice of heaven in northern Ohio!!
I love Cedar Point.

That’s good to know. Thanks!

Oh I'm falling asleep to this later (this is a compliment)

JustMarzz Cedar point is my home park but you would have to use your life savings to be able to stay here for the rest of your life lol 😂
Blake and Mary sadly :’(
One day you will get to go I promise
Loved your video, Jay. Always enjoy your Walk-thrus. BTW, we have cheese-on-a-stick here at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.
Hooray! I know where I’ll head when I get out to the west coast.
Jay I believe knoebels has it as well
Alright.Go roller coasters.
1:15 150th Anniversary
Love the video! But it will be the 150th anniversary of Cedar Point next year. I can't wait to go next year!
I am so sad they can not open this year. Cp is my home park I go there at least 15 times every summer
The has all roller coasters. Lot of rides. But no old dark rides.
Last time I've been here was 2014. But I'm hoping to go next year. I can't wait!
this did not age well
I haven't been there in nearly 20 years since the millennium force first came out. Still my favorite park.
Your voice is so wonderful, your videos are amazing!
Jay you should do a nighttime walkthrough of parks
I'd love to; I just have to upgrade to a camera with better light sensitivity. I think this is going to be the year....
I eat at the park pretty much daily when it's open, and yeah. We lovingly call the cheese on a stick " heart attack on a stick " lol
This is kind of sad looking at compared to what it was when I was a kid...looks like they took out so many awesome rides and filled them all in with roller coasters...
god forbid
I was there the day after and it was so much more crowded than this video.
well they actually have "Melt: Bar & Grilled"
Jay, you definitely have a voice for radio which makes your videos even more pleasing to watch. Thank you for the upload. Maybe one day I will run into you at the park, I am there every couple weeks!
This was great. I am planning on making a trip out there next year. How many days do you suggest? just for Cedar Point
If you want to hit as many rides as possible, probably two days.
My family and I took 4 days to really enjoy the park. We got fast passes on a Thursday and they were def worth the money.
i never get to see the whole park i didn't even know where steel vengeance was so if i go again i can ride it :) thanks man.

Don't go on Saturday unless you have a pass
Great video and info! Thank you my friend!
I live in Ohio and I am proud this is in my state, I love the park looking forward to use my Gold Pass this year.
Well Cedar points closed

Ya I know I was just saying that it is closed now
@@cedarpointjunkie2336 yeah. It is sad that this year is going to be short for them.
150th anniversary
Millennium force is 93 mph
150th anniversary (sorry i needed to correct you lol)
