I'm ok with what we got for the flash movie I just wish the canopy accurately sloped down! had the canopy been right people would've overlooked everything else!
I understand you complaining but at that price he gave you a figure and a vehicle. If you look at import figures 5" costs you 100$ alone.. so no he's not crazy.. you're crazy for being ignorant of the market
First things first, thank you for watching. So,how long have you worked for mcfarlane? Lol. All kidding aside, this is the quote..".flash movie batmobile." Not the 2 pack repaint. Dont get me wrong,i enjoyed working on it and fixing what he could have easily made right the first time. We all know there was no legitimant reason to make that canopy like that. Just because its cheap doesnt mean it couldnt have been right. Many other "cheap" companys have made it accurate...and the reasoning that it had to be like that to fit an out of scale 7 inch figure is completely wrong. I have fit it in just as easy as with the original. We all know it was a complete screw up with the canopy being grey, and i understand that they couldnt admit the defect. But shilling for them will never make them realize they should do better. It just tells them they can put out any turd and the shills will beg for more. As for the high end companys that charge 100+ dollars for figures...sometimes there good ,sometimes there horrible( shfiguarts 89 batman). I never expected mcfarlane to make it with a turbine,i added that just for fun.
That is true, i would never have expected guns,or a removable turbine. But more accuracy would have been easy.the canopy was the main detail that was a super fail.then the wonky cartoonishly misshaped, gigantic turbine was just lazy on there part.it would have cost less in plastic to have made it right.
Its a possibility. I thought about it...but i had just taken a old 89 richman rc batmobile body and had made a full cockpit for it. Was kinda burnt out . I have never even put a figure in this one lol
With the accuracy you put on this car, It looks exactly like the movie. However I just wish they some how made the inner part with more roomier for 2 seven inch figures to fit in.
Thank you, for sure it definately is a 1/12 car. The mezco looks perfect next to it. Mcfarlane fudges alot and stretched the truth when decribeing it. Yeah the 7 inch figure fits but not to well. I get why they did it to save money and all but i agree it would have been great to at the very least fit it better.
Cool, isn't this the older 2003 Hot Toys version (it's expensive, I had to settle for the Jada 1:24 which is cool enough)? Also is it canon, that the front jet extendes like that, that doesn't seem to be in the 1989 movie, although it's cool. Where'd you buy that by the way? This die-cast is ripe for customization. God bless.
The front turbine was seen in batman returns. A few scenes after it splits to become the bat missle. Bruce is in the batcave ,he has it put back together but has the turbine out working on it. This is a mcfarlane batmobile. Not diecast, just cheap plastic lol.
I made a mold off of my old toybiz batmobile caps...there the perfect size. With the canopy it was a leap of faith.i cut out the entire front and windows. I used bondo to fill it all in and resculpted it. I then had to remake the windows from scratch.
@@charlesalexanderjr2247 wow, sounds like you put lotta work to have it done. Looks perfect to me. I got that batmobile and not sure if I wanna deal with the canopy or just leave as it now. Thanks for explain.
Thank you! Im working on an in scale batcave diorama that i will post up soon. Its going to be around 6ft wide lol. I have the first half...the turntable part ...completed
Back in the day for terminator 3,mcfarlane made figures. There was one with the t 800 carrying a coffin. I happened to have one stored away but there pretty easy to find.He had a browning 1919 same as the batmobile. It had a handle and a round clip that had to be taken off. I made a mold of it and made resin copys.
No, its parts from several figures. I used waist, thighs from a mcfalane modern keaton. The lowers les/boots,feet are from mcfarlane young barry flash. The boot coverings are frim a neca, the torso is from a young barry. The upper arms are from the modern keaton and hands from young barry. The chest armor and belt is from a neca....oh and head is technically a mezco. I made a mold of my mezcos and custom painted it
Thank you! When disasembled the stock one pops out easy..... i threw it away and sculpted an in scale, accurate shaped one. Then made the back part of it out of pvc, wire, and painted it.
Would love to see a build video of this......why not fill the seams by the gas caps......no one seems to address those either 🤔.......would love more info on all the changes.......looks great 👍 Really frustrated still have not been able to get ahold of one of these 😢
I just cant figure out mcfarlanes designers reasoning on details like that? Iike the wierd canopy...the seams are not in the movie.they were not added for any structural reason. Its mind boggling. I thought on filling them in, but desided to leave them. I also forgot in the video to add that i ended up shaveing some width off the front wheels. The stuck out to far and looked wonky. Again...why mcfarlane put skinny wheels on the back....and fat ones on the front is beyond idiotic.
Hi, (I use a translator) I don't know if you're really laughing, because you couldn't pre-order the exclusivity on Amazon maybe, and you didn't understand, like many, that it's not a 1989 version of the original storyline, I was able to pre-order it for €70, but it's never shit, with the figure offered, even if it's not 100% accurate and that's normal, it's not that of the original frame, but that of the Flash movie, and it's the first version designed for the film but not the final version to be precise, in short, but you made the best possible custom that I've seen and good job, the top, so at worst we just do a custom, and you did buy it, however, the first version released which is therefore just as much a pile of shit, so say thank you rather to McFarlane? or you would have had in the end for this low total price better than that even if you have the custom strongly to be happy?
First of all......it being a .." flash version". I dont know if you have seen the movie yet. Its the ones saying its lime that in the film that are mistaken..But the batmobile is identically the same as in 89........there was no change at all for the flash movie. Mcfarlane just came up with that to take heat off of them over the canopy. That cant be used as an excuse for there designers being so lazy. Second....even with a modefied, accurate canopy the figure still fits perfect in it...so mcfarlane cant use that as an excuse. Third....it cost somewhere near 100.000 or so for tooling. It would not have costed anymore to do the canopy in its accurate shape. Forth.... i didnt try to get one on amazon because it would have been pointless to buy another that was just a repaint of the same old same old. And the figure it comes with is a usual mcfarlane fail. Bodys fine...head sculpt horrible..... so i should shill to mcfarlane and say .." thank you so very very very much for selling me a product i have to put hours of work in to make it look decent. Thank you thank you

And the wheel centers are indeed silver in the movie ,not gold. To be fair, if the McFarlane Batmobile had all ofthose details, they would probably be breakable. And people would endlessly cry on twitter about it.
