- Independents 96 super hard bushings are not a super common bushings that everyone gets, they’re meant for skaters who like to ride tight trucks or if you’re like me, I like to put on hard bushings and ride loose trucks so my board doesn’t feel too loose and super squishy from the bushings.
Thanks dude. I'm over 210 pounds and I've got the same problem, I totally DESTROY medium bushings coz I also ride tight trucks, I ordered the black normal hard bushings today, hope they last till I can get these.
My pleasure bros!! Keep on riding!!
@@onichama9279 Bro, I only got back on the board for the first time in over 17 years on the 1st of this month I'm 37 now and last Saturday I cracked a rib trying to ollie over my backpack. 😫 Couldn't stay off the board and practiced manuals, yesterday I did some cavemans and ollies again, it was a bad idea as my chest was really hurting bad so today was the first day I didn't skate at all, will take a break for a couple of days so I can heal properly. Anyways, sorry for making you read all that 😑 lemme subscribe real quick. 😉👍
What was your experience with the black hards? I was gonna order them. I’m about 200lbs
Nice vid! Thanks for sharing your experience with the hard bushings, I just got some medium:)
Nice!! I loved the medium ones too! I also made a video on them! Thank you for the support!!!
Hey bro. I'm over 200 lbs as well and the 96A duro Indy bushings really helped with the wheel bite I was getting. If you ever see Khiro bushings in your local they're some real deal stuff there. Their 94A duro bushing felt harder than the Indy 96. I don't know what those were made of by those Khiro bushings were no joke.
Khiro bushings huh? I’ll have to look into those thanks!! I’ll see if I can find them online if I do I’ll get a pair and do a review! Thanks man!
I used the black ones there's perfect for me I'm 230 lbs but i recently used the yellow ones and it's crazy because just a half turn can completely change the steering angle
I’m thinking about using the black ones again, I liked them and yeah you’re right it’s crazy how much it makes a difference !
I prefer super tight trucks and loose hardware. Let’s your trucks just wobble unpredictably
@@george3053 I love tight trucks too, lately I’ve been trying a medium feel
i had good luck with mini logo bushings, or mini logo tops(red) and indy bottoms(either orange or black). the indy tops are more prone to damage. i also filed/sanded the sharp edge of the washer to minimize cutting into top bushing
Hmm I see, what bushings helped you out the best??
venture stock (purple) are good stock bushings, but softer than i generally prefer
@@diplenski I got Krux pink hard bushings I love them!
You’re absolutely right about the new stock Indy bushings being trash. I have 3 different sizes of stage XI standards, and a pair of Reynolds Mid hollows. All the bushings are completely trash and all 4 sets of trucks were annoyingly squeaky even after thoroughly maintaining them. I had to replace the bushings in all of them. I’m almost about to switch to Thunder permanently and just donate my Indy’s.
@@GasGotti i like the stock indy (white) bushings in the chris joslin forged hollows, and so far so good with the tiago lemos mids stock (black) bushings. i'm 6'3, 220 and the stock orange are just too soft. def check your washer for a sharp edge and file/sand if needed. i always take my trucks apart and wax all the contact points when they're new. plain paraffin, gulf wax, between all the bushings and yoke/washers and shave some in the pivot cups. it's the best way to keep them from sticking/squeaking, repeat as needed or whenever you're changing bushings.
I love the Indie stock orange 90A bushings for just cruising. They make the Indie trucks feel so carvy and nice. However unless I crank them down to where two or so threads are showing on the kingpin they do not offer me the kind of stability that I personally need for popping my tricks consistently.
I’ve found that riding the Super Hards 96A with the kingpin and nut flush I get good stability but I can still carve deep enough to get wheel bite if I would try. I’m 215-220 pounds by the way.
I do miss the effortless turn on the stock bushings but those Super Hards and the stability that they give that’s golden.
Yeah those 90A have the perfect turn! And I’ll have to give those hard bushings another go! I discovered something about bushings and I’ll make a video for it! Right now I’m still on the super hards and I can’t carve like I use to but the stability is great for street skating and flatground!
@@onichama9279 I will say one thing about the Super Hards. They are just a tad too hard in so far as they don’t allow for optimal board control and steering when you’re pushing.Sometimes I’ll throw down and start pushing and I’ll get on just a tad wrong and I’ll have to jump off again because the trucks don’t adjust enough to allow me to regain balance.
u need more recognition
This is the coolest thing anyone has ever said to me! Thank you!🥹
I'm about to go grab some. Good looking out homie. I subbed up. Keep Grindin bro!
Nice! They last me a good while! Thank you for the subbed G! Likewise!!
Do a review on Grind King Trucks 💪😎 They are the best trucks on the market.
I’ve gained weight as well and man I can’t even land a kick flip without rolling away. I get super wheel bight
I’ve lost weight since that video but I learn that weight was just an excuse, I met a friend who was 230 and he could treflip. All about power! You can still do it!
Hello. Did you brake it in? I am 220 lbs and still figuring out what suits for me. nice review.
Hello! Yeah I broke them in and I love them they’re a huge help for me! My timing on them is good!
maybe get smaller wheels and get rid of these risers your trucks will certainly feel less loose
I got smaller wheels but I kept on the risers and now it feels great!
i use the 88a softs with no washers and im around 185 so i'm not a light person 😆
Holy shit I find that badass as fuck lol 😆
@@onichama9279 trying to lose weight tho i'm hefty for being 5'7 🫡
@@3jsu5 you got it!! Never give up ya know!!!
Sweet post! I’m enjoying the black conical profile in my 159’s.
Thank you!! I’m thinking about giving those another try, I really liked them.
There great
The best!!
I want to buy it
I’ll be uploading a review for Krux Bushings!
are indy bushings arecompatible with ace trucks?
Never tried it but I heard from many people that they are!
What wheels are those and size ?
