*Glory to the one who goes forward!*
*Our path from the present -*
*To the starry future!*
*Our path is from the present*
*In the years to come!*
We will give to our Motherland
The sun of tomorrow.
Everyone will become like Gagarin,
Everyone will become like Titov!
*Glory to the lookforward!*
*Glory to the one who goes forward!*
*Our path from the present -*
*To the starry future!*
*Our path is from the present*
*In the years to come!*
Description:
Yuri Alexeyevich *Gagarin* is the first person in world history to fly into outer space.
German Stepanovich *Titov* is the first person to complete a long-term space flight (more than a day), the second Soviet cosmonaut, the second person in the world to complete an orbital space flight. The youngest person in history to complete orbital space flight.
*Lookforward* is a literal translation. It could means the person who looks forward or the sailor on watch which called "lookout", but I think it sounds strange for the song. Most of the translation was done by the machine and Google Translate service, with only minor adjustments.
Quite epic

Soviet Union
First to reach space
First to send a man into space
First to send a woman into space
First to do a spacewalk
First to make a functional space station
First to send a probe to Venus and send back footage of the service
United States
First to land on the moon
First to make a reusable spaceplane
No denying the Americans accomplished great things in space and won the race to the moon . But the Soviet Union were the winners when it comes to what more was accomplished
Remember Laika.
The USA had more firsts then that
First solar powered satellite
first polar orbit
first photo of earth from orbit
first successful planetary flyby mission
first successful mars flyby
first spacecraft docking
etc
I respect both nations and their achievements, but please at least mention more then 2 firsts from the other side.
have a good day
