Millions of people come thru Las Vegas and visit Downtown, and yet there are so many things that both tourists and locals miss, and most of it is in plain sight. Giselle and I are here to show you some of these hidden gems that are all over the downtown area. We went to the Laundry room, and they had the best popcorn on the tables, and burlesque videos on the TVs. Super cool experience!

Also for accuracy, the Glitter Gulch topless club was NEXT to The Las Vegas Club and was operating all the way up to the demolition date for Circa. There was also Mermaids on the other side.
I miss those fried twinkies and fried ding dongs from there

Holy crap. I just adapted 2 daughters. I've been to Vegas several times. Gamble, gamble, gamble. I'm going the 13th of this month for 9 days. You both have shown me so much to do. The Underground at The Mob Museum is such a fun place. Everyone is so friendly, and the cocktails are terrific.

Downtown has really changed over the years, and has made so many great improvements. I love the live music on Fremont and all the gorgeous murals. I hope your throat didn't get too sore from trying to talk over that loud fun crowd. You do such a great job covering all the fun spots in the area, and showing me some fun new places to check out. @Brenda Potter - I visit Vegas once a month from California, and I can honestly say that I prefer to stay in Downtown Vegas than on the Strip!
@@kevinp8108 I love the strip and Downtown, but prefer to stay at hotels that are away from both. I love staying at Green Valley Ranch, The M Resort, South Point, Suncoast, and Red Rock. One of these days I want to stay at the JW Marriott, it looks fabulous. Going to the Strip and Downtown are always a must for me, but I also want to just relax and enjoy the calmness that these resorts offer. It saves me a ton of money on food too. Viva Las Vegas!!!

Hi Norma-Your videos never disappoint. I had three lady friends that worked in the reservation office for many years-(Linda Ridgley, Carol Edwards, and Patricia) in the late 1990’s-Mid 2000’s in the Las Vegas Club. I was friendly with the late Jackie Gaughan, who lived on the top floor suite at El Cortez. Downtown, with all the new restaurants/pizza places, and the Circa, and the redone D casino, is a must for tourists.

I liked it better when it was an actual street. It's just loud and gross now.
It's sleazier there for sure, and not really as good as the newer end of the strip.

Great video Norma. My wife and I stay downtown on all our visits, sometimes not leaving the area. Market St Cafe in the California has a great graveyard menu that has oxtail stew and Loco moco as well.
