This is the most beautiful thing I have seen since my dad took care of my mom up until her death. She had 2 strokes, and 3 bouts of cancer before she died. He absolutely refused to put her in a nursing home and she was blessed to be able to die in her own bed in her house with Dad by her side the entire time. He loves her still and can't wait to be with her again. They were married 48 years when she died. Another beautiful example of true love. We miss you Mom.

This loving husband has demonstrated what true love means. In our highly materialistic society today, most couples marry for money and good times. However, when the money or good time is gone, and so is their love. How sad!
Honestly, if I am young and just want good times, I don't need to get married.
In my opinion, marriage means to find your better second half who really loves and appreciates you no matter if it is in good times or in bad situations.
A loving spouse will encourage you when you fail, wipe your tears when you are sad, life you up when you fall, and stay by your bedside when you are sick. When there is true love, it doesn't matter how much work you do in caring for your ailing spouse, you will still find joy from it.
Have you ever wonder why you have chosen your spouse out of more than 7 billion people in the world? I hope that all married couples would love and appreciate your second half just like the loving husband in the video.

My grandmother gave me some sage words of advice; a wedding is lovely but is nothing but fluff and ceremony. A marriage is the important thing and is how well you stick to your vows every day after. It means when times are hard, when you aren’t getting along, through the sleepless nights and when your partner is sick, you stand by them, support them, encourage them and advocate for them as best you can. It has helped me immensely and 23 years later we are still going strong..

my grandmother had dementia too. Do pray and look up some good resources on interacting with dementia patients. E.g. love them, laugh with them, hug them (if they're willing) or else just touch them in ways they can appreciate. Give them things they enjoy. Play hymns or soothing music. Use scents they like in the house eg lavender oil or lemongrass or lemon or orange. Talk to them in ways they can understand and never give up, always listen to them. But accept that her brain biochemical processes have caused her to be unable to access memories - accept it, don't contradict her but always smile, be kind, and always love... (I went through the "grieving" process of 'losing' my grandma's mind already; now I'm happy when she's happy, and be happy as they can mirror ur emotions.)

Brings tears to my eyes, not only from how Dementia robs memories away but also how he has resigned to coping with his wife suffering from it 🥺
His love for her is not only admirable but incredibly beautiful ❤❤❤
I know it so very well when my dad had Dementia before finally succumbed to a heart attack & passed on 😔
I wish you both a long, happy life together

Listening to uncle talks of his wife's appetites, I think she has Lewy Body dementia. My mom had Lewy Body dementia, beside memory loss, the loss of appetite as well as body weights.

If this gentleman is not a real man then I don’t know who is and thank you for not abandoned your wife and to care for her and it’s hard but in the end you will be embraced by heaven for being a kind man and a wonderful heart and I wish you two the best of the best in every journey you two may cross

I lost both of my grandparents to Dimentia. They were married 65 yrs and died 4 months apart. One of the hardest parts was having to remind my grandfather that his wife had passed everytime he asked where she was and watch him take that news as if it were the first time he'd heard it. My heart broke with his everytime😣 He couldn't and didn't want to live wout her. LOVE IS ABSOLUTELY 💫ETERNAL AND INFINITE♥️🔥 God Bless🌻🐞 Love&Light to ALL🙏🏽
