Advice: You are learning the Egyptian dialect and not the Standard Arabic language. You should tell your teacher that you want to learn the Standard Arabic language because there is a huge difference between the Standard Arabic language and the Arabic dialects. Thank you❤
These are great tips, thank you so much! I do have one question, when you say you journal and that even a beginner can do it, are you writing something free-form - thoughts, progress, etc. or are you copying phrases learned.
As an Arab I'm more than happy that people are interested in learning Arabic. To those who are struggling, don't give up, God willing you'll get there one day.

I did the exact same to learn English, my purpose was to not study a bit, only by listen music, watching friends (of course) and Disney movies in English (that I knew by memory so I matched the words to understand). I took me 10 years, it has been so much fun ❤ and I understand everything. Now I'm studying Japanese in English, recently took JLPT N5 and passed :3
@Evelyn and Pudding wow! It is good that my language is easy for you because it is classified as the second most difficult language in the world, and I also know many people who have learned it for years and now their level is beginners , Good luck to you.
Hello, I am an Arab from Libya. I would like to say thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart because you are trying to learn our language. I thank you very much. I can help anyone who wants to learn Arabic and I will be truly grateful. I would like to be an Arabic language teacher in order to teach foreigners. Keep doing your best. Your effort, you deserve the best
This is exactly how I learned Japanese. I love this whole part where you start imitating at 7:06, almost like a toddler lol You look so joyful. such a natural way to learn. Just having fun with listening, and when something sticks out you, you just grab it and play with it! Was going to start learning a new language, but it's been about 15 years since I grew comfortable in Japanese, so I'm pretty intimidated starting from 0.. Even though I always tell my friends if they just immerse with minimal study languages basically learn themselves for you.. This video reaaaally inspires me and reminds me of the mindset I need to approach my new language with. Thank you.. subbed! TEAM LAZY!!!
As a "relaxing" person I really appreciate it. I found your channel yesterday and I fell in love with your energy! Keep creating this content, much love 💜⚛
I think this is not even a lazy way of learning a language but one of the best! Started learning Hungarian a bit over a year ago and really sat down, studied vocab and grammar and it was so hard and I could not speak at all, i didnt understand a word. So I stopped and picked up later by watching videos, just as you, and I started talking to natives. That all. Ever since I have not studied one word or learned any grammar but I am conversational (to an extend, depends on the topic) all thanks to.. well.. immersion without actual studying. Thank you for sharing this!❤
As an Egyptian I got surprised that you're learning Egyptian Arabic and that you wrote your journal in franco (Arabic written in English) that's actually really good for easily expressing what you want to say in the beginning! Did your teacher suggest it? You may know it but franco is used even by Egyptians themselves talking to each other (but some people don't like it)
As an native Arabic speaker (not Egyptian) I found the franco text is hard to understand 100% , and I don't use it or know anyone close use it too. I don't said that no one can understand you if you use it, but it will take while to try to read it correctly _for people who don't get used to read the franco-arabic _ Maybe after your level getting better, you might like to write with the real Arabic alphabet (◍•ᴗ•◍).
@@5ive-t5 Um I want to tell you that I myself don't like using franco it really doesn't make sense to me (when Arabic people use it) cus I can't even read it as fast as I read Arabic written in Arabic and it's annoying. I saw many Egyptians like me even my friends so we don't use it either.. But yes I liked the idea of using it in the beginning of learning Arabic
applied all of these tips, and i definitely agree with everything !! i’m native in 2 languages (french and chinese), fluent in english and i’m learning german and korean the journal tips is definitely the best that made me improve a lot, also i mostly learn vocabulary from hearing pronunciation (idk why i can’t learn without the sound), repeating is also the key
Future reference: 0:00 intro 2:02 read vocab aloud 5:27 watch yt in target language • watch same videos again + again • get used to local speech 10:22 listen to podcast in target language as background sound 11:46 write in journal • even a sentence is enough 13:30 recap 14:40 motto
I did a HUGE improvement on English when I was 10 - 14, which exact period when I went deep into fanfiction. I actually can't remember if I ever sat down to study english. All I did was check out a bit of grammar from school and enjoy the fandom angst I was too embarassed to read in my mother language It was very fun
Reading out loud has helped me so much with Mandarin! Great advice! I was thinking of writing a journal in Mandarin instead of just typing. Handwriting for some reason does more!
Learning a language is a long-term process that requires commitment and effort, but incorporating these tips can make it easier and more enjoyable, even for "lazy" beginners, THANKS A LOT FOR SHARING THIS VIDEO, I ACTUALLY RELATE QUITE A LOT.
Girl Your voice is more relaxing than your routine 💀 Anyways it's so good to be relaxing in learning languages , at least it's better than working hard at the beginning and then getting bored and tired so fast and then giving up, and wowww i love it when people are learning my native language, good luck!!!
i looove the way you explain and i also relate so much to your way of studying! i'm indonesian, but i'm a moslem and grown up in a religious family, so arabic feels familiar to me. Just from listening to The Qur'an (our religion's holy scripture which is in Arabic) and Hadits (The Prophet's sayings, also in arabic) every day since i can hear, learning how to read it without even understand any single word, and listen to islamic lectures more often than others around me, i didn't even realize i'm studying so much; always get perfect score in arabic class at school and can guess 90% of what a sentence means at the first time i hear it. i'm happy that you learning arabic, it makes me want to study it again! similar things happened when i start to watch videos in english and watch anime daily. familiarity to a language is really making you study without realizing it - and it's "relaxing"😆
in brief: In the video, the speaker shares his unique, relaxing routine for learning new languages as a beginner. His current language of interest is Arabic. He explains that though he's reluctant to study in the traditional sense, he uses a variety of techniques to make his routine as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. Here are the key elements of his routine: 1. Morning Review: He spends 30 to 60 minutes each morning going over notes from his language lessons. He reads these aloud to reinforce vocabulary, sentences, and grammar points. Rather than testing himself on memorizing vocabulary, he simply reads the notes repeatedly and trusts that the repetition will lead to memorization over time. 2. Watching RUclips Videos: Next, he watches videos in Arabic to immerse himself in the language. He watches vlogs by local creators and doesn't worry about understanding everything they say. Instead, he aims to familiarize himself with the language and mimics what they say for practice. 3. Listening to Podcasts: During his afternoon nap, he listens to Arabic podcasts. Even though he might not understand most of what's being said, he views it as exposure to the language and a kind of background noise that helps him to relax. 4. Writing a Journal: Lastly, he writes a journal in Arabic. Even if it's only a sentence, he believes it's a beneficial practice. It helps him to use the language in context and reinforces the things he's learned. He emphasizes the importance of consistency in learning a new language and that maintaining a relaxing routine can lead to improvement over time. His philosophy is "less is more," implying that a simple, relaxed routine could be more effective than a more strenuous and complicated one. He concludes the video by saying that he finds his routine enjoyable and that it keeps him motivated to continue learning Arabic.
You're making me cry right now! The last part of the your video hit me so hard, and I am so thankful of you being transparent about it. I WILL REMEMBER THAT SAYING "less is more"
im glad im not the only lazy person who also learns languages XD youre awesome, keep posting these videos and videos in general because me and so many others love how chill your videos are :)
Hi ! Thank you for the advice. I am French and just started learning Arabic 2 days ago. Never though of watching yt videos ! And your french was perfect, really impressive
I totally agree with your Motto! When learning new things I often watch too many videos on how people start and for apps or resources and I often NEVER use them and my motivation does out of the window "Less is more" applies to anything you want to learn, from programming to languages. I hope I can apply this to learning Japanese and Coding better, since I am still very new and when I want to study or learn I just get tired very quickly Also I'm very happy your learning Arabic! I don't see this language and its culture getting much attention and its very heartening seeing people attempt learning about it!!
hi !! thank you so much for this amazing video! you put everything so well. I'm learning Korean so it finally inspired me to just go watch anything i want without worrying of understanding. pure joy to do it when you have a lot of interests in the new language. thank you once again and wish you all the best with Arabic! your English is amazing!

Watching this video made so proud of you! As a native Arabic speaker you did great job + I thought you will learn the actual Arabic dialect which is فصحى. However, I was surprised when I noticed that you’re learning Egyptian Arabic so amazing!!!! Keep going and good luck🎉
love these videos! super helpful tips. and then I noticed that you're also a small creator (like myself)!! we gotta stick together out here! keep it up!! (and now I'm going to go watch some of your other videos to practice my mandarin lol)
You are unhinged and I love it. I'm definitely going to start journaling in other languages since I already love writing things down. Thank you for the amazing tips!
Such a great video. The most important thing that you mentioned is having fun while learning, It is the most important step to success. I usual the content is useful thanks for your outstanding work. Hello from france
As an arab,im really happy people want to learn arabic and plus its very hard even if ive been learning it my whole life and whoever is trying to learn it gl❤
I just discovered your channel and I love it. I'm Brazillian and your videos have been helping me not to feel guilty for not being able to study for long hours straight.🧡
@@erenyeager1987hi, yea i have a few books i use, i have an arabic teacher who provides me with books n stuff. to be honest you can probably learn it without a teacher tho. online books and arabic teaching channels are available. having a teacher definitely helps but if u have a friend who speaks arabic that works too, just to communicate and have fun speaking the language with them and confirming if you’re saying the word or sentence correctly
Thanks for this video! I’m learning a few languages and right now I’m trying to get my Thai to a decent level. I’m extremely lazy so how I’ve learned to catch words or basic conversations is by watching shows and finding a scene I like and learning the expression and emotion, tone, intonation of what they are saying and why it’s being said. I repeat words out loud as well. I also talk to myself in my head. If I speak out loud I say “I want a coffee right now.” Then I repeat it in Thai but only the words I know. Then I research what the words are that I missed. Now I’ve caught myself automatically thinking in other languages and saying expressions out loud without realizing it. It’s a fun journey!
I've been following you for a few weeks now and I'm surprised by you learning Arabic especially Egyptian because I'm Egyptian. You're doing great!! استمري🌠💕
Hi, thank you for this video. I was pushing myself so much to learn language that I need to learn. I was feeling very guilty that I’m getting not focus enough so fast. With this method learning languages can finally give me a little bit more fun ❤
I am learning korean and as an arabic person i see you doing very well and happy that you’re excited with learning, try to improve it more at Al-fusha to understand words deeply, best of luck 💘
شكرن على البديو الموفيد! Im currently learning Spanish and i cant find videos that actually imply to me (a procrastinator), your doing great and i hope you reach your language goal! Thank you 😊
I liked that you really love learning languages, for me I always dreamed of speaking many languages, nowadays I tried to focus on improving my English first, but I feel I'm stuck in the same level, so my passion is not that much and I don't have the motivation. Furthermore, I can understand Japanese because of the Anime but I haven't been serious YET to learn it. But as you said, it has to be fun, you don't force yourself to do it, it has to be "you want to do it".
I'm arabic native and i think you do a great job 😼💋 The wonderful thing about the Arabic language is that the pronunciation is very easy and the letters are not difficult 💓, but the grammar is easy also 🙂
One thing I've been trying out to start a language is just exclusively focusing on listening for the first few hundred hours - using something like Pimsleur, or if they are available, some beginner YT videos who do good comprehensible input starter videos. A key thing is to get the sounds in your head early. I'd love to say it works, but I haven't done enough yet to be able to compare. But I do think there is a good logic behind just focusing on the sounds of the language early before trying to push to conversations. But your technique looks really good too.
French learning arabic since while now ! Thank you for your nice video, it is so help for people who are working while learning 😂 Your French is not bad, honestly I met a lot of foreigners here and they dont always have understandable accent. Yours is understanable. I think the problem is the flow... I dont know if what I say will help you but, in french when an accent is difficult to follow we say " an accent to be cut with a knife" and it is a little bit the vibe with your accent, it doesnt have the flow of french, like you separate every word. I think it is because you make good effort to pronounce every word, and probably, if you'd live in France, after couple of months, this problem will disappear as you'll be used to this flow... interestingly enough arabic as the same difficulty as words can be connected together for more fluidity (like les amoureux = lézamoureux and in levantine arabic حبيبة قلبي = habibet'albi )
I loved this video ❤️ this is also how I have been learning too, I’m also learning Arabic aswell but Modern Standard Arabic 🥰 have fun in your journey can’t wait for you to put out more video of you learning Arabic it’s soo motivating
I totally agree, I would spend hours and hours just researching the best method to learn my target language but not actually start using the resources. However, this video has broken it down into bitesize chunks to where it is doable for myself and others with low motivation or busy schedules. Keep up the good work! 👍
I am really happy when I see people learning the Arabic language, and as an Arab, I will give you advice that the grammar is difficult for us as Arabs too, let alone people who learn our language, but if you have a leader and determination to learn the language, you will learn the rules quickly. ❤
for french , even if there is a slight english accent in it , it's so good ! it trully feel like you lived in france for a year or two ! continue comme ça ! et merci d'avoir commencer a étudier l'arabe ! pas beaucoup de gens ne s’intéresse a cette langue , mais c'est ma langue maternelle donc ça me fait vraiment plaisir !
I'm also learning a New Language and it's Korean. I Read it loud and while I read it I scribble with my dominant Hand on a Paper. That helps me to memorize it while saying it and when I see the syllables and scribble I also kinda memorize how to write them
Ti scrivo in italiano perché in inglese è ancora 'presto'. Grazie di cuore. Grazie. Grazie. Grazie.
Thank you for your tips. I'm Brazilian and I study Korean, English, and now I am studying Japanese too. Studying Japanese is difficult for me because I find it hard to retain the information in my brain. I find it easier to study English and Korean than Japanese.
Thank you for sharing that you don't understand 99.9%. It's so freeing! It's like we're taking this journey together! I am in awe of your language abilities. When you spoke Japanese I was like "Wow!" Is anyone a beginner learning German?
You are learning the Egyptian Arabic language and I support you to your choice, cuz the Egyptian Arabic language is very easy so don't give up and keep going ❤
3:55 the arabic language its not memorizing the voca because the word have different meaning in another sentences , just but it in a sentences and try to guess the mean because skina maybe mean a knife but in another sentences means quietness and it says sakina im so happy to see people who are not arabian humans try to learn our language if you have any question just write it and we all will help you !~
Wish you lots of improvement in Arabic! You have chosen the hardest language as a Taiwanese. It takes courage to start such a long journey. I always say: you get somehow married with the language haha because it's a never-ending learning process. I decided for myself that I have enough with Chinese and I am married to Japanese language and I would miss my life if I learned Arabic too XD. One needs to have a clear purpose. Right now I am learning Chinese and Russian. I would like to continue with Indonesian in the future and practice a bit more French. I just don't have enough time for that. Also, I am not really very fond of French hahaha... It's horrible. I think I just don't like it, but I try to learn it every time because I think it could be useful, but no... I don't get myself to be motivated enough. To like a language or culture is really extremely important for a learner. Also, the struggle I have is that Franch is too easy for me. This literally kills my motivation. It's funny but ever since I was a child I have always been better at things that were extremely difficult and I was the worst in class when learning easy stuff. Like I just can't concentrate when it's too easy, so I was extremely bad at school, but then very good at university hahaha.
Awesome tips! I'll make use of these. My 12yo and I are learning Indonesian (via a tutor online) and I've been struggling with finding practical ways to get us to learn all the many phrases and words. We'll learn so much faster with your method. Thank you 😊
im so happy w these videos, im currently trying to learn spanish, korean and level up my english to more advanced level, so i can have conversations about everything and learn kr from it, this is so much motivation, im gonna maybe try learning on japanese alpahebt as im learning korean, anyaways thankbyouu yyayy
As a Japanese, your pronunciation is fantastic! I'm on the way to learning English so I respect the people working hard at learning other languages! If I was not from Japan, I don't think I could take a shot at learning Japanese though (such a complicated language) haha
Hi ! I am French but I am of Moroccan origin and I am learning Japanese haha😄. Honestly, I find that the French language is much more complicated to learn than the Japanese. As my mother tongue is French, I find that the Japanese language is refined, structured and goes straight to the point. For example, the fact that there is no gender, plural, etc makes things easier. However, I agree with you that Japanese remains difficult, mostly with kanji😭 今年日本に行きました。お名前はみなでしょうか。みなさんのお国はきれいで美しいですね!日本がとても好きです。英語の勉強頑張ってね。みなさんもう上手です。☺ Sorry if I made some mistakes🙂
@@nesounesouu1133 Haha my friends who took a French class in college, they were always struggling with the gender things in French And wow! Hope you had a great experience in Japan. 私もフランスに行きたくなってきました😊Anyway, thank you for the sweet comment!
Wow your Japanese pronunciation is so good. Great video. Make more lol. I think your video is full of great advice. This is coming from someone who never did any planning when it came to learning many different languages. You got me beat cause I used to study about an hour a week(hey that rhymes) I often think that I am saving money learning or I like to think I am because I don't want to spend a lot but I calculated I am course to being proficient in Thai in about 20 years for about 16000USD🤣
She’s right, Arabic doesn’t have a ton of online recourses. Taking a yr of it in college really jumpstarted my knowledge in a way I definitely dont feel I could have achieved on my own 😆 once u get to an intermediate level it’s easier to learn on ur own-like now I can understand half of what my relatives say & vocab is expanding from there Also I recommend the Netflix show Al-Rawabi مدرسة الروابي البنات Jordanian dialect, English subtitles, & just super entertaining-it’s awesome!
You are adorable. I found your channel through another channel where you were interviewed by another RUclipsr. I was curious about your method. Even though I already knew it was an immersion technique. I still loved how you presented your routine. I have never really been out of the United States, which is why I enjoy learning languages. It is a way to travel. So, when I'm financially able to travel. I will already know the language & culture. Right now, I'm learning Korean. So, I will try your routine.

Thank you for sharing this!❤
You're very welcome! glad that you like it!
As an Arab I'm so proud of you keep goin' girly, فخورة بكِ💖
It is very helpful for me about how to learn languages in a lazy way as a beginner , because every thing you said clearly and easily. Thank you.
You're welcome^^
As an Egyptian I got surprised that you're learning Egyptian Arabic and that you wrote your journal in franco (Arabic written in English) that's actually really good for easily expressing what you want to say in the beginning! Did your teacher suggest it?
You may know it but franco is used even by Egyptians themselves talking to each other (but some people don't like it)
As an native Arabic speaker (not Egyptian) I found the franco text is hard to understand 100% , and I don't use it or know anyone close use it too.
I don't said that no one can understand you if you use it, but it will take while to try to read it correctly _for people who don't get used to read the franco-arabic _
Maybe after your level getting better, you might like to write with the real Arabic alphabet (◍•ᴗ•◍).
@@5ive-t5
Um I want to tell you that I myself don't like using franco it really doesn't make sense to me (when Arabic people use it) cus I can't even read it as fast as I read Arabic written in Arabic and it's annoying. I saw many Egyptians like me even my friends so we don't use it either..
But yes I liked the idea of using it in the beginning of learning Arabic
@@ilovebabybreadsm Yeah exactly 100% as you said!!
i cant understand any egyptian as an iraqi!! cudos to her
applied all of these tips, and i definitely agree with everything !! i’m native in 2 languages (french and chinese), fluent in english and i’m learning german and korean
the journal tips is definitely the best that made me improve a lot, also i mostly learn vocabulary from hearing pronunciation (idk why i can’t learn without the sound), repeating is also the key
I can’t learn it without seeing it written down:)
this is natural. we need the sound to understand a word linguistically
Future reference:
0:00 intro
2:02 read vocab aloud
5:27 watch yt in target language
• watch same videos again + again
• get used to local speech
10:22 listen to podcast in target language as background sound
11:46 write in journal
• even a sentence is enough

I did a HUGE improvement on English when I was 10 - 14, which exact period when I went deep into fanfiction. I actually can't remember if I ever sat down to study english. All I did was check out a bit of grammar from school and enjoy the fandom angst I was too embarassed to read in my mother language
It was very fun
That's sooo like me ! Same exact time, same method, same everything ❤
LMAOOO JUST LIKE ME HAHAHHAHA
Reading out loud has helped me so much with Mandarin! Great advice! I was thinking of writing a journal in Mandarin instead of just typing. Handwriting for some reason does more!
Learning a language is a long-term process that requires commitment and effort, but incorporating these tips can make it easier and more enjoyable, even for "lazy" beginners, THANKS A LOT FOR SHARING THIS VIDEO, I ACTUALLY RELATE QUITE A LOT.
Girl Your voice is more relaxing than your routine 💀
Anyways it's so good to be relaxing in learning languages , at least it's better than working hard at the beginning and then getting bored and tired so fast and then giving up, and wowww i love it when people are learning my native language, good luck!!!
Hahaha thanks😆
Please keep us updated on your language learning progression! Love the positive & happy vibe you're giving off! 😊
No problem😁✌️
i looove the way you explain and i also relate so much to your way of studying! i'm indonesian, but i'm a moslem and grown up in a religious family, so arabic feels familiar to me.
أنصحك بالاستمرار💥
when you switched between the languages it was so impressive! i'm working on my french, but you make me want to tackle more languages after this one!
thank you for your kind comment! totally! language learning is fun! hehe
in brief:
In the video, the speaker shares his unique, relaxing routine for learning new languages as a beginner. His current language of interest is Arabic. He explains that though he's reluctant to study in the traditional sense, he uses a variety of techniques to make his routine as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. Here are the key elements of his routine:
He concludes the video by saying that he finds his routine enjoyable and that it keeps him motivated to continue learning Arabic.
omg thanksss

You're making me cry right now! The last part of the your video hit me so hard, and I am so thankful of you being transparent about it. I WILL REMEMBER THAT SAYING "less is more"
Great points: 1) Have fun; 2) Be consistent; and 3) Less is more!

Hi ! Thank you for the advice. I am French and just started learning Arabic 2 days ago. Never though of watching yt videos ! And your french was perfect, really impressive
merciii et bonne continuation à l'arabe!
I totally agree with your Motto! When learning new things I often watch too many videos on how people start and for apps or resources and I often NEVER use them and my motivation does out of the window
"Less is more" applies to anything you want to learn, from programming to languages. I hope I can apply this to learning Japanese and Coding better, since I am still very new and when I want to study or learn I just get tired very quickly
Also I'm very happy your learning Arabic! I don't see this language and its culture getting much attention and its very heartening seeing people attempt learning about it!!

How amazing this advice is. I am surprised by your sharing. Merci beaucoup!
De rien^^

I liked that you really love learning languages, for me I always dreamed of speaking many languages, nowadays I tried to focus on improving my English first, but I feel I'm stuck in the same level, so my passion is not that much and I don't have the motivation.
Furthermore, I can understand Japanese because of the Anime but I haven't been serious YET to learn it.
But as you said, it has to be fun, you don't force yourself to do it, it has to be "you want to do it".
this is one of the best language learning vids i ever watched super practical

You're very welcome!
Thank you for your nice video, it is so help for people who are working while learning 😂
Your French is not bad, honestly I met a lot of foreigners here and they dont always have understandable accent.
Thank u for your video I learn English but it's so hard. You give me moutivation to learn English

I totally agree, I would spend hours and hours just researching the best method to learn my target language but not actually start using the resources. However, this video has broken it down into bitesize chunks to where it is doable for myself and others with low motivation or busy schedules. Keep up the good work! 👍
Thank you for your kind comment and encouragement!!!

Thank you 😊

However, I agree with you that Japanese remains difficult, mostly with kanji😭
