One of the many many unique things about Joe is that he sees and understands the keys that he has been given. He respects and seems to have decided to fully shoulder the responsibility being cowboy that he is. He sees the need to be honest and he doesn't claim to know right and wrong for anybody, but himself. He definitely leaves alot on the table for someone to learn.

Tom is a great interviewer because he listens and is empathetic.
No offense but he’d be a great energy vampire, something about him reminds me of the guy doing that on “what we do in the shadows”. Maybe his tone, I don’t think he has that affect literally though. lol seems like a great guy, well spoken of from some of my favorite comedians.

He has a very mellow, calm, almost Zen like energy. He's probably a great person to talk to if you're upset or down
the best thing about this is joe let tom bring his own microphones and set up his own cameras. that way it actually feels like toms show, and not that tom is on jre. i like it!

I could be completely wrong, but Joe seems 100% behind his friends and in general a well meaning human person.... I'll take what I can get out of it.

I bet all the people out there trying to cancel Joe don't know anything about his backstory, or who he is as a human being. There's a depth to the way he lives his life that most people don't take the time to understand. But Tom Papa gets it, and it really showed in this interview. Great podcast!
All the people trying to cancel anyone don't know much about any backstory. Ironic that in this day and age with more options than ever to watch and listen to whatever specific thing interests you, that people try so hard to de-platform people. Even if their efforts are well intentioned, it'd be better spent watching/promoting what you DO like as opposed to campaigning against what you don't like.

Listening to Joe's stories growing up were interesting. His martial art stories were great. Especially about how he started and those three bullies wanting to rob him before he is teaching his class.
This was epic. I feel like I finally have an understanding of who Joe is. 👍🏼👍🏼🙏🏼💐🌷
JOE ROGAN, my idol! Smart, truly knowledgeable. A storyteller. I love UFC, so I almost followed him from fear factor. Whenever he talks you've got to listen...so entertaining. A decent, honest guy...his words so powerful. Hopefully I'll meet him one day.

Thank joe, and Tom being a great interviewer. I can relate to joes upbringing so much and have been going through some rough times making me question my beliefs and views in the world but relating so much to joes story gives me some faith that I’m in the right path, thanks you guys for the openness and honesty.

Glad you came out to Texas! I listen and watched you and Joe imagining you two as cartoons. Who ever makes those cartoons of Joe they will do well with your comebacks.. my favorite part was about the coyote and his dog 🐕 ... your replied with “did they meet in a bar?”I was screaming!!!!

It definitely seems more relaxed and doesn't make the studio look as bad as it normally does.
Tom is CLEARLY a dear friend of Joe. (Who doesn't love Tom) It's amazing that he let him do an episode of BB in his studio.

Every time I hear Joe tell that story of hearing his mentor John Lee, kicking the bag, I think of Jean-Claude Van Damme seeing Tong Po kicking the metal pillar in Kickboxer. Joe says it was like a scene in a movie, and it was.
I just think everyone really loved the old familiar-studio and people are hard to change all of The cool mug shots $ silicon monster stuff , in a big comfiest old shoe with all the history Joe built there
