    They used to walk the beat in Paia back in the 90's. I always wondered why they stopped. It help so much. 👍

    Walking for these officers are good for their health as well. Some of them could use the exercise 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️🚶🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️🚶🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️

    Bicycle police would help a lot as well....very sad to see what's going on in paradise......🙏🙏🙏🙏

    Maybe the state can restrict the one ways that are being sent here with no intention of being a contributing citizen. The government does not care for the workers at the hospital that are being forced into taking poverty wages. This is a group of people that want to care for the locals. Money lines the pockets of government officials that take care of their own o'haha when the money can be funneled into mental health and the shelter less situation. If something isn't done and people see what it really like here with all the burned out cars and homeless camps that look like garbage dumps like on sugar beach then the tourist dollars will dry up. Maui is fast becoming another Honolulu. So sad, I'm making a plan on leaving this place that was once paradise.
