I’m about to fly to Honolulu from Los Angeles on first class on Hawaiian. This video has gotten me excited about the very relaxing journey to come. I don’t usually mind coach, but since first class is more comfortable and an exquisite experience, I will try first class. This will be my first time trying first class on any of my trips. One thing this video also makes me want? Sparkling water! I have some in the fridge and am drinking some as I’m watching this video haha.
I was on a Fam trip to Hawaii (lingo for a travel agents familiarization tour). We were scheduled to fly from Honolulu to Kawaii. Not long after takeoff we encountered bad weather. The plane was bouncing back and forth lightening heavy rain. All 30 of us guys and girls were becoming very scared. The captain said that we were returning to Honolulu. We'll to our shock we landed only to find out that the airport had closed due to very bad weather. Most of us wanted to go back home stateside. Poor Hawaii tourist board had to find hotel rooms for 30 people. The hotel they found was awful. TG l have had 2 wonderful trips Maui and Honolulu. Good memories.
Thanks for the video. Glad you enjoyed your carbonated water 😄 You missed the Plumeria Lounge on the second floor. They have hot food (nothing great but more than biscuits) and a separate area for first class passengers so you don't have to mix with the common folk 😛
I'm confused. You state this is a review of HA first class but show a seating plan for where you're sitting that is listed as business class on the plan. If that isn't confusing enough, a recent review in a local Australian newspaper of a flight from Sydney to Hawaii on HA A330 states it's a review of their business class, but all the HA seating plans I googled have this same plan listed as first class. Does that mean HA use the terms first and business interchangeably?
Many airlines used business and first class interchangeably. That is changing now. Used to be synonymous. But, some airlines flying internationally had four clases of service on 777-300ER aircraft for example: first class (a couple of rows way up front), business class, premium economy, and coach/economy.
Cattle class 🐮 I died that was hilarious. This was super informative, thanks so much for the info. Btw, have u ever flown with JetBlue’s first class.. there’s a name but I forget.. anyways it was fab for a 6 hour flight east to west coast.. cheers!
Amazing! Absolute masterpiece! I don't know if you remember me, but I recently subbed to your channel and called you underrated, etc. Since then, your video quality have improved so much! I can tell you're getting better! Never stop trying! I love u :)
My only criticism on the seating is that I felt like I had nowhere within arms reach to put my items. There's a tiny net on the armrest to your side which is helpful, but also dangerous because if something falls out it's going to fall in the crack between the seat and the armrest and will be impossible to find. There's another small net by the footrest, and I have no idea what the purpose of that one is. I found myself fumbling around trying to find a place for my phone, chargers, etc and often just ended up putting it on the middle section.
I’m flying business class in a few months to Korea and I’m worried that the lounge won’t have any food at all. It’s gonna be my first time trying business class so that’s kind of excited. I’m an alcoholic so I’ll make sure to get all my hard earned points worthy. Luckily I got a discounted business class using my points (normally 130k points down to 65k).
If you don't have Priority Pass, then you can only get access to Plumeria if you're flying international business or first class to JFK/BOS. Because it's also a Priority Pass lounge, it is constantly packed with families, which is annoying. But yes it's still significantly better than the incredibly sad Premier Lounge.
The Maui airport lounge is even worse if that's even possible. :) Hawaiin is behind the times. staff is nice. BUT there's no wifi services. I have to. pass.

0:34 I’ve flown Hawaiin first class from Sacramento to Honolulu multiple times. Food and staff are always top notch.
Flying from Honolulu to Los Angeles in October. My First Class Ticket was 845.00. 5 days later it jumped to 2100.00
it''s 8 am and i'm not an alcoholic... love it
How do you upgrade using miles? I got the barclays card and just booked an economy ticket. Got so many miles it be nice to upgrade.
Hawaii is a beautiful place. I first visited Maui in April 2016. I wanna go visit Hawaii again. ❤❤

He didn’t have access to plumeria lounge, only for Boston, NY and international first class flights, west coast flights don’t get access
First class only, business class is a joke.

I think all the HA a330 planes are 1. First/Business, 2. Premium economy, 3. Economy.
OK, so it's a class that is called both business and first. Makes no sense. @@JWB671

Nice cheeky and informative review. Flying this with my wife and daughter in January HNL to SFO. I'll be sure to skip that sorry lounge 😂

I like the shirt salt and pepper shaker 7:32
Did you find the temperature in the FC cabin comfortable? I’m worried about not having air vents.
It’s perfectly fine
I found it pretty comfortable although I know some airlines can be too hot. Have you flown LH before?
This plane looks quite aged?
I remembered one thing from this review :carbonated!!
I am the king of carbonated water 😂
So did you call in to upgrade?
04:55 The building in the background is a Federal Prison!
LOL I had no idea 😂
No amenity kit?
I wish! No kit at all, but I wasn't expecting one for a domestic flight. Would have been very nice though
anyone here after the announcement that Alaska bought Hawaiian?
I wish the lay down seats were more comfortable, feels like laying on a wooden plank
What was it you drank? Oh wait, I remember. Carbonated water.
Cattle class 😂 Enjoy while single and no kids. So does it mean we will have another Hawaii video coming up?
Hawhy

You were in the wrong club, you were supposed to be in The Plumeria Lounge.

Business class, not first...but not a bad layout

nice review but the attitude. yikes. first world problems.
Come across as privileged. Didn't care much for the personality.
Just letting you know I stopped (virtually) by.
I could do without the sarcasm.
Then you shouldn't watch.
@@ibervillezee9142 Great Idea! I won’t.
🙄
“cattle class”? absolutely derogatory and disrespectful
It's called a joke. I fly economy all the time 😆
I call it the truth
😂😂sounds like someones triggered they cant afford to go first class
We just returned from the islands and I can’t imagine flying any other way but first class. No, we are not wealthy, we save for our splurges.
@@DKN8how long was your flight
Face diaper in August 2023??🤣
Maybe I was sick and trying to not get others sick as well
Doubt that.
For being new, the paint and upholstery is so beat up! Off-putting ...
You are not safe on this incompetent airline. Fly anyone else
Hawaiian Airlines has an excellent record. No fatalities. No hull loss. (They've been around since 1929)😊
Great review. This airline is gross. Dirty old seats and food that isn’t even worthy of Hometown Buffet.
