These episodes were most terrifying that TIE Fighters have ever been, and also had some shots that are arguably the most incredible that *Star Wars* has ever looked.
uhhhh how were the tie fighters scary. They didn't do anything spectacular....
@@icy5982 it’s the contrast of how fast and powerful they are compared to the exposed characters on the ground. If that TIE pilot wanted to, he could have ruined them
The heist arc was some of the best Star Wars we've had since the OT. We saw that neither Rebels or Imperials are pure good or evil
Better than the prequels?? Nah
@@jakestinkypig some of the best. And in terms of writing quality it is better, though as a fan it’s not
What did the rebels do that was less than pure good?
@@Daniel-Strain Take a whole family hostage?
@@jakestinkypig Well, it has way better acting, writing, and special effects. So, yeah, I agree that it's better than the prequels...
Honestly, that whole heist with the escape though the "eye" was some of the most gorgeous imagery I've seen in years.
It really helps that Diego Luna is doing incredible work here, just amazing performance!
All of cast is great too 👍
I love how it feels like I’m reading a really good SW novel. It’s so atmospheric and there are so many small character details. I feel like I’ve been waiting for this level of sophistication since my parents showed me the og trilogy and I wanted to know more about what happened in between and right before the films, why folks worked for the Empire , what drove them to leave and join the Rebellion etc. This show is multi-layered and absolutely gorgeous!!! At times it reminds me of ESB. Folks are forced to make rough choices and everything is so precarious. Stunning work!! I can’t believe we’re only halfway. it’s phenomenal.
Could not agree more!
Only half way through the first season! This one is going to be a real treat when it's all said and done.
Nailed it! 👌👍👏
this is exactly what I’ve been saying! it really feels like a novel straight out of the better parts of the EU
i absolutely love the books and had the exact same thought, anyone who really likes this show should try some of the books i promise you wont be disappointed
The Eye scene was some of the most visually stunning stuff in Star Wars EVER!!!! I had goosebumps through the entire scene and on top of the that music helped give tension and show what’s at stake. I applaud the directors! They are helping Star Wars feel like Star Wars!
Disney if you’re listening. More of this please! Epic show.
This show is really raising the bar. Didn't think I could love Cassian any more yet I'm absolutely loving seeing who he was and his struggles that lead to his Rogue One development. I'm geared up and ready every Wednesday at 12am!
I love that the writers haven't made Cassian's journey to join the Rebels a straight line. Cassian was getting into more and more trouble as a solo operator working only for himself (though definitely against the Empire), but his first experience working with a Rebel team did not go too well.. He lived through it and learned some valuable lessons, but he didn't like everything the other team members did, and one (Skeen) turned out to be a deserter and backstabber. At this point Cassian still shows no sign of wanting to join the Rebels, but I think he'll soon find out that he can't survive solo anymore so he'll have to join either the Rebels or some other anti-Empire group. Interesting!
Andor is amazing. Totally get where it's too dark and intense for everyone. It's not a fun jaunt, it's a dark and seriously thrilling adventure.
Star wars need that element
I've been waiting for exactly this my whole life :)
its not dark its mature
Wait... are you describing the current Disney Star Wars?... ok, I have to see this.
The key word there is "everyone". Whenever anything in Star Wars tries to please too wide of an audience, things fall apart quickly. Too many examples to cite.
When they focus - like Andor, Rogue 1, Mando... it's brilliant.
In love with Andor series, the acting its brilliant, the script its well done, the scenery, THE COSTUMES, EVERYTHING, . Thank you Andor team.
dont Is a Star wars
Episode 6 was some of the most heart-stopping and gorgeous pieces of Star Wars to ever be made.
Such an incredible show
Yeah, incredibly boring and Lame😅
@@MareShoop You are in the minority here.
@@MareShoop You can go watch your lightsabers going wooosh on the boring original trilogy fights while we enjoy a finally well written star wars plot after a long time 😄
@@JTube571 Bot? 😅
And you all probably thought Rings of Power was a masterpiece! 😂
This show has my full praise and endorsement so far! Quality writing, acting and cinematography.
So excited for episode 7 tomorrow
Episode 6: The Eye of Andor is probably one of the best live action episodes to come out of Star Wars. Absolutely brilliant.
Thank you Tony Gilroy! You have made and contributed to some of the best star wars we have ever gotten. I hope Disney can see how loved this show is and continue to make more stuff as epic, and detailed as this is. The story and pacing is great, the characters are awesome and feel real. I love this show and hope Disney continues like this.
@Christopher Rowe tone for a wider audience is totally fine but they need to put the same kind of EFFORT into those as they have with this. That's what ppl are saying
Really amazing show. I’m a fan who has seen all the cinematic content and read many of the books. Take my word for it. This is good Star Wars
This is the Star Wars presentation that I truly wanted the most. 👏
Part 6 was arguably the best Star Wars live action episode so far. Absolutely impeccable. Looking forward to the 7th!
This show has been a breath of fresh Star Wars air. More please Disney.
No Jedi. No Sith. No use of The Force. Just a story of the common folk against the Empire. 👏
This show is absolutely phenomenal, can't wait for tomorrow
I wake up early every Wednesday to watch andor before school, and every Tuesday night im so excited, this show and the mandalorian are the only shows that when the star wars intro plays I get chills
Hopefully this video will get more people to watch this masterpiece.
Episode 6 was some of the best and most exciting I've seen in a very long time.
This show is good partly because its doing its own thing with GOOD WRITING most of all, doesn't have to rely on references galore. Just focuses on its own story.
While it’s references it does have are only for like people who read the comics or played that games it’s not as streamlined as just the films
@@sundancetitan5675 oh yeah like the gift shop/antique shop. They're not even references really just background easter eggs.
@@KillZoneHart1 exactly they’re so subtle that it’s not crammed in your face
Krennic: Oh it’s.. Beautiful..
Many thanks to Tony and all the makers... as well as Diego and all the onscreen talent. I love this show!!! 🌠 #StarWars #Andor #DisneyPlus
Everything about this show is peak quality. The dialogue is excellent and engaging, the acting is great, the characters are believable (even side characters), the visuals are some of the best in SW, the story is very interesting so far, and the music is intense and beautiful. It is a fresh perspective on the world and it's firing on all cylinders.
I can't recommend it enough - the pacing starts out slow in the arcs, but it makes the conclusions so much better by laying the ground/character work and building up tension.
This show is astoundingly good!! It keeps the tone that was set in Rogue One but is somehow more tense, more visceral, more personal. It’s just so well done. The whole Eye of Aldhani sequence is one of the best things I’ve ever seen, and not just in Star Wars!
Just perfect in every way. WE NEED MORE
I’m excited for tomorrow’s next episode!!
With Andor, Disney have finally cracked what a modern Star Wars show for mature audiences should be like. Great work!
This show is awesome, more of this please
Andor may not get gangbuster ratings out of the gate, but the whole series will be made as intended, and it will sit there gradually garnering the respect and attention it deserves while flashier shows are forgotten.
much like Rogue One. It's the only worthwhile Disney SW movie IMO
The shot of the Tie Fighter and the Eye of Aldhani is a masterpiecie in all Star Wars history
I really hope this is the new standard for Star Wars.
This show is truely the best Star Wars show yet!
Best star wars since original trilogy and the clone wars
People complain “oh its so slow” well Ep 6 would have never worked without the slow buildup. That’s the magic. Suddenly you care a bit more of these people when they die. Patience pays off. Can’t wait to see where this is going….
Exactly. I heard many said that the stuff is filler and that it would've been better if some was cut out. All that would do is just make the finale not pay off as much as it did.
@@enzoamore8971 people have super low attention spans nowadays. I mean I do too but not for well written movies and shows lol
10/10 show
It really pained me when i found out more people are watching She-Hulk than this.
I just don't get how the whole MCU is even a thing. Its so bad.
@@djangokill65 MCU was fun before phase 4. MCU ended with Endgame.
I watched both but I enjoyed Andor a lot
Still waiting for the official 4k Wallpapers of Episode 6 :)))
Truly loving watching and discussing this series so much!
Amazing episodes! Been a fan of Star Wars since the early 90s as a kid. Read countless EU books and played every video game, and this series has rekindled some of that childhood excitement of wondering "What else was happening in this world during the empire's reign. Love it
Hearing Nicholas Britell explain the thought process in creating the sound(s) for 'the eye' sequence is pretty incredible. Seriously, the amount of detail, depth and layering that went into those few minutes... is absolute CANDY!! 🥷🏻🦉🍭🤍
Finally the show is picking up speed! What an absolute beautifull and thrilling episode we had last Wednesday
Having this Adult/Mature arm of Star Wars content is amazing. Keep having these alongside the All-Ages & Kids Stufd!
YESSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS SHOW IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
We all love Andor!!
Not me..
By far the best Star Wars series done by Disney. Thank you Mr. Gilroy
Andor is exactly what I've been waiting for; a mature/adult take on Star Wars. But disregarding that, if Disney makes all its Star Wars shows to this quality bar, I'll be a long time Disney+ subscriber!
Disney, give this show the time to find its audience, people need time to get on board.
Andor have nailed so much stuff right compared to the other Star Wars Disney plus show so far.
Hopefully this can get more people to watch this stunning master piece
The best Star Wars show thus far! *In my opinion*
Episode 6 is amazing
This is the best thing Disney has done with Star Wars. The adult tone is what the sequels needed!
I am in love with this show. I was holding it off cause i didnt expect it to be so good. Cassian is now my favourite character in the whole star wars franchise because of how little relevance he has to the plot but somehow still manages to be a captivating and interesting character. Love him
Same here, Cassian became my favourite too, great story and complex and nuanced personality with lot of character development, and theres also plenty of interesting characters with great dynamics, Andor isnt one man show.
Idk if the higher ups in star wars and Disney will see this comment or not but if you do i just wanna let you know that. This series is a step in the right direction for star wars. Give us more content like this.
Not according to the stats
Amazing show the VFX and graphics of Star wars mandalorian and andor are way beyond expectations, andor is such a treat to watch....
Andor has been incredible so far. The cinematography in episode 6 is some of the best we've ever got in Star Wars. The acting has been superb, the episodes flow effortlessly. I'm all for more mature styled Star Wars content, can't wait for the next episode and beyond :)
Amazing show! All I could ask from a Star Wars spy thriller. Can't wait to see where Cassian's journey takes us next 🙌👏🔥
Love it how "Alex Lawther" is a character category
It's a phenomenal show. Absolutely top tier and innovative. It also has the same problem as House of the Dragon. Both shows are flawless so there's nobody on social media whinimg about it and creating buzz.
There's a lot of buzz around House of the Dragon and it's doing really well . . . ?
My favorite show this year, simply amazing.
Incredible show!
This show is AMAZING! Andor has been the most mature Star Wars show to date. Its gritty, real, and just beautiful to watch. Can't wait to watch whats next!
I weep buckets of gratitude that something has finally been made that's worthy of standing beside the original trilogy.
All Hail Tony Gilroy
Love every bit of the show 👌🏻😮💨🔥
Best acting.
Best dialogues.
Best visuals.
Best sounds.
Best StarWars series.
remember when every body was mocking the announcement of this show like "yeah of course and let's create r2d2 a star wars story too" well who's laughing now. seriously the escape through the eye had me o' the edge of my seat, what an incredible show
If you told me in 2016 that a show about Cassian Andor would make a more intimidating Empire than any other SW and be better than a Boba Fett and Kenobi show combined, I would have laughed.
This show is perfect star wars
Really cool
Love reading the comments here, if you ask among the general Star Wars fandom this show is getting much less hype but almost everyone who's actually SEEN it is acknowledging its greatness. This is the best Star Wars has been since 1983, full stop. It's not even remotely arguable. And it's not just the best Star Wars TV show so far, it might be the best sci-fi TV show ever, and the best TV show of the year across all categories.
"The most beautiful Star Wars since TCW finale and TLJ."
-Me
You have good taste! ☺️👍
Hermoso el episodio 6! 🔥
Disney has to understand that not everything is about the money, this is such a great show, and as it follow his own path, own story, own timing, you cannot hurry up such a delicious melody
amazing
Last episode finally got some real real action 👍
So freaking good
This show is amazing
DISNEY.....PLEASE more Star Wars shows like this......PLEASE
We want and need a movie about the reveal of Darth Jar Jar Binks.
This is the kind of writing that Disney+ Star Wars has been needing for a while now
Best show in the mutliverse right now.
nothing but masterpiece
Thank you for creating one of the best series so far, and for going far above and beyond the low low bar for most media these days.
Story & lore > crappy cheap action
Can't wait to see stormtroopers in this series. Something tells me they're going to be hard as nails, not comedy cannon fodder!
“definitely was in different situations that were not age-appropriate” at times. “Luckily my mom was really good about protecting me from a lot of that stuff, but she can’t do that for everything.” - Scarlett Johansen on Holly weird and disney
Excellent series so far. it's not as action packed as the previous series have been but I personally am enjoying the slow burn of it. Getting Blade Runner vibes from it all. Also Scotland looked beautiful in Episodes 4,5 and 6. And that's before anything with the Eye. Maybe Star Wars needs more directors and showrunners that aren't huge fans of the franchise like Tony Gilroy, to have more new and fresh perspectives. I do like how this early Rebellion isn't squeaky clean and are getting their hands dirty. Was not expecting the heist to involve a family being held and threaten. We know Andor survives, but we're going to see these awful things he (and others) have done in the name of rebellion.
Anyway, looking forward to tomorrow episode.
hell yeah Andor is great
This show is the best Star Wars Disney have produced and yet was the show I was least interested in when it was announced. And the biggest issue is, sadly to say, alot of the Star Wars shows Disney has produced appears a bit rough lackluster compared to it. A surprise to be sure.
This appears to be a show that has benefited from a bit more prooving in the bake - so Disney can make good Star Wars content. Its a worthy addition. Really enjoyed the story thus far.
More of this please.
Such a fantastic show so far!
It's a wonderful show
masterpiece
I miss her so much 540 days
Everyone said this show is incredible, i hope Disney understand that and make others show with the same quality
All this show needs is some good marketing
