Honestly, not following the Skywalker Saga was what I'd been waiting on for years. There is so much more than Jedi and Sith to the galaxy, and while its fine to have stories about them, its not the only story I wanted focus on.
Seeing Luke at 6:14 really made me hold back a sudden welling emotion. We’re so lucky to have Star Wars, a tale of rebellion against oppression wrapped up in a fun and deep story with so many angles and perspectives. It truly is the greatest thing.

Beautiful. Managing to tie in Andor, Rogue One, Mandalorian, the OT and even the sequels so well together is an achievement in itself. Brought tears to my eye
This. Is. Legendary. I've been waiting so long for a quality tribute for the rebellion in general. The original trilogy, Andor, and Rogue One have all leaded up to this. Love this editing my friend!
@@preciousotoakhia9789 the same can be said to andor, or luthen, or mon mothma, the point of this video is that rebellion is not an act of single individual it's a movement carried by people that have a single goal, this is why I love andor so much, it's tells a story of these unsung heroes of the rebellion, even nemik have a great role to the fall of the empire.
@@preciousotoakhia9789 even in his timeline everybody is not believing that the empire could be defeated but it does defeated, again the rebellion is not one person that's why they call it rebel alliance, if luthen was there in mandalorian timeline it's not guarantee because it's depend on how many people join the cause
This is pure brilliance. The core of Star Wars - as much as I love Jedi vs Sith, lightsabers and the rest - is really the resistance of an outnumbered and desperate good against an entrenched and vastly powerful evil. That is what makes it more than a children’s story, that is what makes it timeless and transcendent and important. I hope someday it will have done with lesser things and go back to being this.
I think that when all is said and done, when people look back at star wars as a whole, the rebellion saga (i.e. Andor, rogue one, rebels and the original trilogy, jedi fallen order) will always be some of the most memorable stories we've experienced in modern times. under-equipped, under-manned freedom fighters standing up to a behemoth tyrant will always make raw, emotional, inspirational and powerful journeys. And this is an amazing masterpiece of a tribute that suits the best of star wars , great job.
5:00 onwards is purely incredible! Way better than the majority of film trailers these days. Saws "save the dream" line always hit hard and this trailer increased that impact tenfold. I may like the Empire but these rebels had damn good reason to fight.
For every Luke and Leia, and other named characters. There are thousands of background characters like Andor or Luthen. They might not have the Force or political power, nor expert warrior training, but they are people that stood up despite their fear and said “No More!” Heroes of their own stories that may never be heard, but inspire all the same. For The Rebellion! For The New Republic!
this is so incredibly stunning... "the dead lift me up" paralleled with "use the force, Luke".... there are so many more but holy shit this is absolutely brilliant !! thank you so much for sharing
One thing that Andor does so well is that it puts the metaphysical Force stuff into the everyday. Solidarity, community, brotherhood: that's the Force. It binds us together. It's a power greater than any weapon. It's us.
The Past, Present, Future structure to this montage is incredibly well done, and using Luthen's monologues as structure alongside Rogue One, Andor, and a bit of Mandalorian footage was truly inspired. Truly my favorite part is the opening Past segment with the Vangelis-inspired Bladerunner/Dune soundtrack overlaying the harsh architecture prevalent in Andor's first season. Excellent video, friend, excellent video.
Amazing. You have truly captured the heartbeat of rebellion against tyranny, standing against oppression and resistance against nearly insurmountable odds. A testament to what Andor achieved in illuminating the origins of the Rebellion and being the centrepiece of this.
My favourite era of Star Wars is the Age of Rebellion! This video is a beautiful tribute to not only the Rebellion but also Rogue One and Andor which imo are among some of the most underrated Star Wars stories. Excellent work!
thanks for making me cry again almost as hard as I did at the end of Rogue one and Andor. No but seriously, this was beautifully done, masterful edit, a perfect compilation of everything Andor meant to portray and what the Rebellion stood for. It's amazing how this show, that I wasn't expecting all that much from, made me see Rogue one and the original trilogy in a whole new light. Those movies have always been my favorite from the franchise but now Andor made me have an even deeper appreciation for all those characters and what they fought for. I need more of this, more of these edits and just from the star wars franchise in general.
Oh my God, my face is full of tears. His work is wonderful. Andor and Rogue One took a new, rawer, more emotional, truer, and more visceral look at everything we understand Star Wars. And that is absolutely wonderful. Congratulations on the beautiful video. He summed up everything I felt watching these two works. Hugs and love from Brasil.
“I’m dammed for what I do” As Luthen flips the mirror down to see his own reflection. You truly understand the power of rhythm in your editing. Bravo for another exquisite work and thank-you for all the effort you put into it.
Luthen is a PHENOMENAL character. One of the best in Star Wars. I was PISSED when people were saying/theorizing he was a Jedi. DONT. DO THAT. It takes away why he's so unique and special.
Luke looking on at Vader's body seeing only Anakin with that quote "I love him more than anything he could ever do wrong" ...............wooooo you got me teared up
God…Andor is an absolute masterpiece. I still can’t believe that show came out to be the best piece of Star Wars media that’s come out post Disney acquisition, and in my opinion since the Original Trilogy. What makes it even better is that it was probably the least anticipated Star Wars project.
Hey, maybe watch The Clone Wars, The Mandalorian, play Fallen Order, read the High Republic-books and the 2015-Darth Vader-series, these are absolute masterpieces.
Your videos are so expertly cut. I've been watching them at least 10 times a day and they have reignited my love for Star Wars. Seriously if you don't make trailers as a living then the film industry is seriously missing out.
This video sums up all the things that make Andor and Rogue one the first and only shows that can really match the original trilogy, and in some aspects, even surpass ist ... a masterpiece ... I find myself searching for Andor on youtube like every day to get some more snippets like this ... to shorten the waittime till season two. I'm dying for it. For the Rebellion!! ONE WAY OUT !!! (=> Season 2)
I am absolutely floored by how incredible it is. I sat slack jawed at my desk for a full 2 minutes before I realized the video had ended. Calling this editing impressive is a massive understatement!
I really love this, a lot of andor, rogue one and some original trilogy content, and even Lando's line from the rise of skywalker, really a combination of every part of the rebellion
I just realized the Rebellion insignia is a rendition to the Jedi Order which is a raised up lightsaber. A lightsaber is an extension of The Force itself, fueled by kyber crystals which is a gift from The Force. Not only it is a tool of offense and defense, it is a beacon of hope and a guide to light the way. The Rebellion is a lightsaber. One has the tools to build it, you can either conceal it or show it, it will only need the right crystals, the right people and the right moment in order for it to ignite it and fight against the dark and give light to the galaxy. "The strongest stars have hearts of kyber."

"I love him more than anything he could ever do wrong" played over Luke watching Anakin's body burn actually had me tearing up. Had to go hug my own Dad after that one. Well played
We need this now more than ever.
"Everything I did, I did, for the Rebellion." Fucking love it.
fuckity hell. 5:17 to 5:53 has got to be the most moving, emotional gripping editing that exists. the twin roars and then you hit those CLIMBs at absolutely perfect placements and on the 70th watch it still gives me full body goosebumps.
The best love letter to Star Wars I've ever seen.
8:08 Omg I just realised the overlay over Cassian Andor is Maarva Andor and then the overlay over Jun Erso is of Galen Erso!! This is so perfect I'm crying
Disney may have fumbled badly on most of their Star Wars stuff lately, but Andor and Rogue One are both SO good. This is some phenomenal work!
What about The Siege of Mandalore story-arc? It was far superior than any other Star Wars project that came out for years.
@@syndrax8554
Yeah, the end of the Clone Wars was amazing... well, the first and last ARC's, the middle one we could've done without.
@@thalmoragent9344 Yeah, The Siege of Mandalore was top tier
Honestly, not following the Skywalker Saga was what I'd been waiting on for years. There is so much more than Jedi and Sith to the galaxy, and while its fine to have stories about them, its not the only story I wanted focus on.
Seeing Luke at 6:14 really made me hold back a sudden welling emotion. We’re so lucky to have Star Wars, a tale of rebellion against oppression wrapped up in a fun and deep story with so many angles and perspectives. It truly is the greatest thing.
The way you included the two times Cassian is told climb back to back hit so hard
Fantastic. This is the Star Wars I’ve wanted since 1977.
You bet your ass !!!!
Jesus, this was *EXTRAORDINARILY* edited. You should be so proud of yourself/selves. This was so effective and moving. How do we get you an award for this? How the hell did you manage to compose this into something this seamless in the little time since Andor’s finale!?!
Thank you for such kind words!
I couldn't say it better than this comment so I'll just reply here and say holy shit you deserve some award for this! I keep coming back when I need a hit of Andor but don't want to watch the whole show lol. Amazing work. Thank you!
@@jamescook2199 Its time you watch it! Its the best star wars story told. Everything about it is perfect!
It’s been a while, Andor was crazy. Honestly the best written Star Wars show. Also congrats on 15k!!
thank you! :)
I mean, its way beyond the best written Star Wars show. It's one of the best written shows period.
@@brianlutz7813 its only 1 season so far, let’s hope they don’t mess it up
@@brianlutz7813 I might sound hyperbolic but if the second season is as good as the first I genuinely will think this is one of the best pieces of fiction ever written and produced.
@@ulyssesharpe7487 I am STOKED beyond belief for season 2. Praying its just as good and doesn't try to just ride the coattails of season 1
I never thought about the climb connection now I have the feels
WOW, so many great callbacks and subtext! That Nemiks last word is the same as K2‘s „Climb“ or Luke’s „I have to try“ (also Nemiks word) despite what Yoda told him. Absolutely amazing 🙌🏼
The only missed opportunity I spotted was in not using Cassian's "Climb" from when he and Meshi were on the cliff.
"It's like poetry. It rhymes"
Kino's call for the prisoners to climb could be used as well tbh, but it is a really small part in a bigger speech.
broke: Do or do not, there is no try.
woke: Remember this: try.
@@YodatheHobbit and Kino Loy saying it in his speech
This was Beautiful. Andor is The Only Piece of Star Wars Media that made Me Want to Stand Up and Join The Rebellion. It shows You That The Empire wasn't Defeated by People like Luke Skywalker, Sure He definitely helped, But The Rebellion was formed by Regular People Standing Up Against an Evil System. People like Maarva and Nemik Inspiring Regular People to Stand Up and Fight is what makes This Show So Inspiring and So Good! Everything in This Show was just So Well Done, The Acting, The Writing, The Music The Character Arcs Everything is Just Brilliant!!! It's not just One of The Best Star Wars Shows, But One Of The Best Shows I've Ever Seen!!! 10/10!!!
"Wouldn't you rather give it all at once? For something real?"
Without Luke rebellion would have failed and everything would have being for nothing
@@blobs819901 if luthen was in Mando timeline would empire under thrawn be defeated since everyone believed defeating the empire was not possible
8:08 one of the most beautiful scenes I've seen ever!!!
7:07 Omg that edit is so perfect
It's about time the Rebel Alliance gets a legendary tribute! Well done!
Everything happened so return of the Jedi could become a reality
The saga's heart beats strong.
*FOR THE REBELLION!!!!!!!*
For the Rebellion!
This is what we need to do to the WEF/NWO
For the rebellion
5:00 onwards is purely incredible! Way better than the majority of film trailers these days. Saws "save the dream" line always hit hard and this trailer increased that impact tenfold.
I may like the Empire but these rebels had damn good reason to fight.
I loved the two shots of K2SO and Nemik bothe shouting "climb!!"
We continue to fight
Fuck, when I saw this was 8 minutes long, I wondered how much you put into it. I didn't expect something this tightly woven! Well done!
This is so beautifully edited. This is truly the heart of humanity. The fight for liberty.
8:05 "I love him more than anything he could ever do wrong."
Holy shit. Perfect.
this is so incredibly stunning...
It's us.
Without Luke Skywalker everything would have being for nothing
This is a tremendous advertisement for Season 2. Fantastic job!
K2's "climb" followed by Nemik's was fucking heart wrenching. This is by far my favourite video I've ever found on RUclips
Fight for Freedom, Fight for Hope, Fight for everyone 🙏💪
This deserves a million views. Everyone who values freedom should see it.
God I Love Andor. It is just SO so good. I adored all of it and is my favourite star wars content, up there with Mando but even better imo.
Best Star Wars video on RUclips.
Andor is peak star wars not even og triology has this quality of writing.
How was Luthen sure the rebellion will win
Amazing. You have truly captured the heartbeat of rebellion against tyranny, standing against oppression and resistance against nearly insurmountable odds. A testament to what Andor achieved in illuminating the origins of the Rebellion and being the centrepiece of this.
Long live the rebellion now new republic
this is so beautiful. i really like it they expand the starwars universe from just jedi vs sith, and dark vs light to become people vs people.
All is dark vs light
“I’m dammed for what I do”
As Luthen flips the mirror down to see his own reflection.
You truly understand the power of rhythm in your editing. Bravo for another exquisite work and thank-you for all the effort you put into it.
Luthen is a PHENOMENAL character. One of the best in Star Wars. I was PISSED when people were saying/theorizing he was a Jedi. DONT. DO THAT. It takes away why he's so unique and special.
andor and rogue one literally carrying star wars right now
I literally cried, this is so well done
Magnificent. This IS Star Wars
Luke looking on at Vader's body seeing only Anakin with that quote "I love him more than anything he could ever do wrong" ...............wooooo you got me teared up
This is one of the greatest things I've ever seen.
Still come back to this video all these months later.
Fucking class.
That was more epic than most of the series, that's how you know it's a good edit.
I'm so glad that Andor exists.
Such a clear and strong political speech against fascism and imperialism.
“Impressive, most impressive “-lord Vader .
This is CINEMA!! 👏👏👏
And the second season of Andor has yet to come out!!!
Man, who would have thought Taylor loved Star Wars so much, let alone could make such incredible videos about it.
I am absolutely floored by how incredible it is. I sat slack jawed at my desk for a full 2 minutes before I realized the video had ended. Calling this editing impressive is a massive understatement!
This was a great Edit SWFT!! Disney should use this... its Rebellion... even after 2years... this still pushes the heart!
This is so moving. Jeez makes me wanna go watch andor and rogue one
I really love this, a lot of andor, rogue one and some original trilogy content, and even Lando's line from the rise of skywalker, really a combination of every part of the rebellion
Putting the 2049 music in this is genius.
That just kept getting better and better
Just like the Andor show!
This is Work of Art!!!!
Fight the empire!
THIS IS WHAT STAR WARS IS ALL ABOUT!!! Screw the sequel trilogy! Andor, Rogue One, this is the heart of Star Wars!
