Firstly, great video. Secondly, now that you're remaking videos, could you please remake the São Paulo one, after all its got plenty of new projects such as: Line 14- Onix Line 19- Sky Blue Line 20- Pink. And the expansion of many existent lines such as lilac, yellow and green. Also, it'd be pretty nice to see the stations on the map, how you do now, since the old style you used didn't show them. Anyways, thanks for making amazing content for fans of metro/public transport systems across the globe ❤
I'm happy that you're remaking videos! There is a lot of videos that I wanted to have a new, more modern version, such as the old videos which didn't show all the stations. Notable remakes : New York City Paris Beijing Delhi And loads more.
Seoul is still expanding isn’t it as it’s the Capital City of South Korea. And with lots of people living in Seoul as well. Very interesting diagram of how the metro lines were built and are still expanding with more people commuting into the capital city. Very interesting.
Hey ! I know you're called "Metro Liner", but can you do tramways/light rail networks as well ? There are some of those that I would love to see on this channel !
@user-rd4nl6xo1z No. It is NOT A METRO line. Metro is innercity, and eventually operated also the nearest suburbs, not all region. "Regional metro" is actually NOT A METRO, IT IS REGIONAL RAIL.
9:47 Fun fact: Even after the Loop section of Yongsan-Cheongyangni was transferred to the Jungang Line, subway maps often showed Line 1 clumped with the Jungang Line and the loop, showing a monstrosity of a metro line with a central loop and 4 branches.
Great video! Couldn't wait for it as the last one was already outdated, didn't include the actual stations as well as in-fill openings. Can't wait for next week's video to see the rest of it, including the future openings, of which there are many!
It has already been well over a decade since Seoul and its neighboring metropolitan area residents were prejudiced that Line 1 was literally a stale smell, numerous old people, the occasional novelty trolls in the metropolitan area, and many aging ground stations and trains. However, fortunately for now, the relatively recent trains that are less than five years old are running about half of them, which is an improvement from the past. lol

It’s astonishing how damn fast did it grow... there are years of planning and actual construction behind every single new station! Great video as always, and bless the remakes: there’s always room for improvement, let alone the new projects that were started in the meantime!
Sadly, the 1997 IMF financial crisis, which led to the new business withdrawal of numerous subway lines planned until the early 2000s, has brought about business changes between Seoul and and metropolitan subway lines so far
Like... it seems that public transportation is more or less about flipping properties to the officials of Taiwan for now 😅 Long-term benefits? Sustainability? They don't have the courage and patience. Besides, Taiwanese people are used to ignoring traffic rules for their own convenience already so roads are too OP to make the MRT an appealing choice. They would be like "why should I take public transit if I can drive myself?" BTW did not expect anyone to talk about Taiwan here 😂
