Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 This video is from Makuhari shows on Jan.28 /29 and I believe it was filmed on Day-2. I witnessed both shows. You saw one octagonal movable / elevatable stage but actually there were two identical stages for more surprising production. Several drones with camera were flying around all over the venue. Once this opening song by Su and Moa got started, I had goosebumps all over my body. The show was held after the almost 2-year long hiatus after all. Seriously many of audience were moved to tears and/or dropped their jaws when the gigantic fox wall opened and the thrones came out. Yeah! I chanted all through the song. ♪ Oh oh oh o o o ♪. What a happy experience!! The Kami band was playing on the east stage that was not captured in this video. After this opening, 3 girls performed 12 songs with Momoko Avenger. Did you see 3 (not 2) thrones at 03:06 in your video? Yeah, BM will change. The official 3rd girl is going to be unveiled in the next shows in Yokohama on April 1/2. Yes, at last ✌ Then you can see new 3-girl-formation in your country, UK at 4 venues in Leeds, London, Cardiff and Glasgow. They will join Sabaton Europe tour in April and May as special guest.
Great reaction and welcome back to the BABYMETAL Fox Hole.🦊They have gone for the big anthemic number for the opening track on the new album (being released 24th March) and naturally they used it last week for the big, theatrical opening number for their first live concerts in nearly two years. That was where this was filmed.
The "scissors" are the logo for the album (called the Other One) so its like OO on top of a staff.

I think i missed your BM journey but I'm glad to see you're coming back to hear more of them, this time returning with a more mature sound and a new BM side we've never seen before.
You're not the first one finding GOT resemblance on this stage setup, it looks mental. Those aren't scissors but crosiers with "The Other One" logo which is similar to the infinite symbol OO and the title of upcoming 4th album. The girls are using some kind of trident, if you know MoaMetal you know you gotta be careful with her. 🔱

At the end of January at Makuhari Messe they held two great live shows returning to the stage after almost two years. and by far they meet up my expectations with this epic live performance and top notch production.
SuMetal and MoaMetal showing why they're a queen and princess deserving their thrones. I'm freaking out with the cinematic drone shots!
We were expecting this live proshot version but we'll have to wait next month for live sound.
We got so many big news and announcements, a new official member is coming (most likely Momoko Okazaki, the one who has been performing with them all these years and latest live concerts) next live shows in April 1 (Fox Day) when returning once again with another headlining shows at PIA ARENA MM Yokohama. Also they performed with a new BM mirror unit coming from another world of this metalverse, so we're guessing maybe some of the older kawaii metal songs they don't play anymore will be back with this new unit, so stay tuned for more but like always OTFGK.
There was some minor issues when SuMetal was singing this live a little bit off, apparently an IEM issue or something but is all good coz we all know it's been a while since performing live and is the premiere of this song, pretty sure next live shows will be better.

I was fortunate enough to be at the concerts at Makuhari Messe in January and it was even more spectacular to witness in person. This song is the opening track of the new album and it was also the opening song of the concert. When the song began, the crowd was a bit mesmerized by how majestic Su looked and sounded and a lot of us forgot to sing along in the harmony part until about halfway through.
Babymetal are in the midst of an artistic evolution at the moment, and these newer more epic sounding songs and Su's matured vocals, are quite a change from the cute and childlike sound they became famous for. Su and Moa are 25 and 24 respectively now, so its natural that their music is going to evolve to reflect their own maturity. This song in particular has a kind of epic quality that you might typically associate with symphonic metal.
Excellent observation about how a buildup in the music can lead into the main vocal line (and "the story") instead of something from the instruments, and it is intentional. For me this song is all about the vocals - main and backing - and those mighty drums.

Youre ignorant. In the earlier songs they were very young. They started in 2010 and Su was 13 and Yui & Moa were 11. Of course their vouces sounded high pitched. Duh. This video is 13 years later, their vouces have matured. They're not singing 'Normally" whatever that means.
