This is one of the best mushroom recipes i have ever tried. It tastes like a non veg recipe, also very easy to make. I didn't add thengakothu, still it tastes awesome. I have tried several other recipes of yours earlier. I have started using fennel powder in recipes only after seeing your videos. And it really does make a difference to the taste. By the way no small onions only big , still very good. Just I edited it by saying , at the end after taking the mushrooms out we have put some rice in to the pot and mixed with the remaining oil and that was good too. As we are both retired, I love cooking.
