BY FAR the best video out there for folding up those LARGE popups!!! The key phrase - "when the bottom starts to drop - let it" - that's THE magic!!!!!
You Sir are the winner!!! I’ve been trying to fold mine for 2 days; watching over 6 different vids on how to do it. Watched yours and 💥 I got it on the second try!!!! Thank you!! Here’s your trophy 🏆
Thank you so much! (From a 5’ 2” woman struggling with a 150x200 pop up background for the best part of an afternoon! 🙈😂) I watched a few other tutorials without success, but was amazed when your second method worked for me first try. (I was even brave enough to pop it back up and have another two tries, putting it away each time in seconds. Thanks!
This was actually the most helpful tutorial I’ve ever watched. I love my green screen but hate fighting to fold it down after a shoot. You just saved me so much time and frustration! Thank you!
Just purchased an LS 5x6.5 ft. Chromakey background for daily use in an office setting. Folding it up daily has been a chore--like wrestling an alligator! I tried several different videos for reference and found my success rate to fold very low and my frustration rate very high. Then, I found this video and on the first try, folded the background! I had my wife come in to the office area to show her how easy it was, as she too was frustrated with this thing. I unfolded the background and folded it right up. She couldn't believe it. Thank you for the vital tip!
Finally! I haven’t watched countless of other folding videos. The folding taco against the floor worked for me. It’s the first time in three years that I managed to fold my green screen. My wife will be very happy. 😅
This is, without a doubt, the greatest video in the history of RUclips. For a few months, a giant backdrop was propped up on a wall on our office, and no one dared to attempt to fold it. I finally gave it a try, and after looking at two other sites had no idea how this would ever happen. Then method #2 in this video worked! I was stunned! Thank you thank you thank you
Do you realize this is four freaking years later and you are the best one that taught me how to do this. I have a 6 ft one and I am 5ft 2" - see you helped someone 4 years later. Especially the second methond! A BIG THANK YOU
There are very few people on God's earth more deserving of a sainthood than you Sir !! Just bought one and had no clue how to fold it back. Thank you !
Seriously hate folding my big one everytime.. so i pull up this video to help! Still tons of tries n horrific words come out of my mouth.. mines not that easy!😮
Dude! You just saved my life! Friend left his backdrop here and I wanted to fold it away… After battling with it for 15mins I found this and bam! Worked. My saviour!
Okey so this is the situation: I'm in a new job as a photographer in a dental clinic (weird I know) and this is my first day. I'm doing a photoshoot with a dentist with this kind of background (a black and white one, not chrome) and, when we finish, the dentist ask me if I know how to fold the background. "Of course I know, don't worry" I say. SPOILER: no, I don't know how to fold it. So he leaves me alone with this fucking monster. Well, I try like 20 fuking minutes to fold it with no result. I see like eight videos but I'm stupid or something and I can't fold it. I'm just about to cry in my first day at my first serious job. BUT THEN STEVES appears with this fantastic video and AT LEAST I have been able to fold this fuking stupid background thanks steve you are my hero 😭😭😭
😭😭😭😭😭😭 I laughed way too hard. I was watching video after video and once I saw this video, I got it. 🙌🏽 I’m a Makeup Artist and most times I need backdrop when I’m doing a client’s makeup. I needed to make sure I knew how to do this before I go to do a job tomorrow. Thanks Steve, and you for the humor. I felt the same way. 😅
Fantastic!!! I've been struggling folding this darn thing for over 2 years now and then I watched this! Five seconds and voila - success! Thank you so much.
I received my shipment yesterday and had no idea how to get it back to small size. Today I saw this video and wow how easy it is! Ok, I will honestly confess that the first way didn't work for me. I don't think I have enough energy in the morning. The second one came out right away and so fast I don't even know how I did it. Brilliantly easy! Thank you for this video! It saved me a lot of trouble!
Hero status activated! I have an 8'x10' with the fabric layout attachment and I haven't successfully folded it up in 2 years. You helped me level up and defeat my arch nemesis. YOU ROCK!
Okay, okay, okay. Method #1 took me a few tries and the 'just drop it down' part is literal sorcery, actually doing took extra effort, but it DID work. All the 'just drop it down' parts in this video are just this MAJESTIC HUMAN BEING flexing DRAMATICALLY on his viewers.
I would like to pay for your first born to go to college. I have real tears in my eyes because I thought I would just have to live with this as a roommate in my small, nyc studio apartment. This was the 3rd video I watched and the only one that spoke to me. I was beginning to wonder if something was wrong with me. But, I think finding the video that teaches you how to fold this is a very personal, intimate experience. God bless you and your family and friends and thank you so much!
Wow! Prior to this video I tried about 15 times to fold down my new backdrop without any success. I also watched a few other videos which did not help. Using the first method shown on this video I managed to fold my backdrop down on my first try! Thank you!
Wow. This was my first time using a collapsible background and all the reviews had me freaked out when it would be time to break it down. The set up was harder! Thank you Steven! This was AMAZING! It took me 3 seconds (I did the 1st version you showed) to break it down. Awesome! Thank you so much!
Years later and I have finally folded this thing for the first time since I bought it it's literally been in every part of my home in three different moves I can't thank you enough sir! :-)
Oh my goodness, I didn't even watch the video, just watched 2 secs of the thumbnail preview, and I must say you made it ridiculously easy. I watched another RUclipsr's approach. I thought that was easy enough, but yours...!
Thank God someone finally made an easy to follow video on this. Like ebony thunder, I stuggled for a long time, at one point I was laying on the floor with this thing! LOL. The second method for me worked great. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
OMG thank you! I've been trying to fold mine for 15 minutes, and literally bruised my chest in the process. Got it on the first try after watching your video!
OMG THANK YOU! This stupid thing almost became a rather large frisbee right out of a second-story window. Operative word here: GRAVITY. Your tutorial was the only of, like, 8 or 9 I watched that actually worked. Serious gratitude!
After watching so many Fold Pop-Up Background videos without proper results - this video was the easiest and gave me the immediate results. I folded my backdrop at one go. Thank you so much.
What a flippin' star!!!! Your first method is so easy to execute. I've been struggling to get my giant backgrounds folded for months. Every other method I've tried worked once but just couldn't repeat it at will. Really helpful tutorial.
HOW ON EARTH DO YOU NOT HAVE 5 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS!!!!!! I was SO upset with my backdrop for YEARS. I just gave up on using it... Could NEVER get it to fold, EVER. I got it within seconds of you showing me in the video. Thanks!!!!!!
This was the only video that made sense. I was literally 10 seconds away from donating my new green screen to the location I was at and figuring I'll just buy another one next time, purely because it was the last item to pack and I wanted to get home and I just couldn't remember how to fold it. Life saver.
Gravity. Who knew! Tried a bunch of different videos but your strategy of lifting it off the ground completely did it for me. Appreciate the video! Wish the algorithm put your video up higher.
You ROCK. I was battling my greenscreen like a Greek wrestling a giant evil serpent, I’d push left, it would coil right- we fought for months. Your trick ended the conflict in moments and now it’s sealed away until I need it next. Thank you.
This was extremely helpful! I left mine sitting in the living room for two days bc I got frustrated with it, and thought, lol!!! Then thought, oh! I remember seeing this guy on RUclips a few years back demonstrating, let's see if I can find help from RUclips. Wasn't really expecting to find the very video I saw, but it was actually the first one that popped up in my search 😁. So THANK YOU for this demo u made look so easy! ur the best 😎👍🏾.
Opened a new collapsible backdrop today and after wrestling with it for three hours found your video and two tries later put it back on it’s case. You are wonderful. Thank you. 🤙🤙🤙
As a sight-impaired creator it is very hard to understand how to fold items like this from a purely physical demonstration. A solid description is more helpful. Your video is the ONLY one that gave me enough description during the process where I could pull off the fold instantly as you described it. Thank you so much!
I agree! The fold-the-door and push to-the-floor is very easy to visualize almost like kneeding dough. I can close my eyes and still get the right movement in my memory.
Wow!!!! That was a life saver, I had always been fighting to fold my pop-up backgrounds, somehow in the end I was managing to fold them but it was always a fight! Now it's as simple as unfolding them. Thank you Sir! Method 1 worked for me like a charm.
Listen I just got mine a couple days ago. Today was my first day using it. And I read how hard it was to put this massive thing away so I didn't even try by myself lol looked up this video. Did the first method, and it was literally that easy lol. I'm so happy cause it made my self tape look sooo much better. And it's easy to set up and take down!? Thank you sir!!
I have been struggling forever trying to fold this back after each use & the second way went so smoothly it worked on the first go, thank you for this video!
I tried lots of techniques, this is by far the fastest and best!!!!! I actually laughed out loud when I did it the first time, too easy!!!!Thanks, you're the man!
Perfect. Thank You. The 2nd way worked for me as my pop-up background is not so floppy to the 1st way didn't go to plan. So the second way worked beautifully. Thank You!
I’ve watched sooo many videos and didn’t get it until I watched this guy. Many, many thanks! My green screen has been in my dining room for a week and a half! I can finally put it away now!! Lol!
I've had my reflector for more than 16 years. I ALWAYS struggle with folding because I don't use it often enough. This is BY FAR THE BEST folding technique in the HISTORY of MANKIND!!!! LOL. Thank you.
omg thank you I have been trying to fold this thing until I got frustrated and said am sure someone on RUclips has a video on how to Here you are the first video I clicked and I did it on my second try thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for this video. This is the best tutorial ever. As a barely 5 feet tall person, I always find it super frustrating to fold my portable green screen. I found that most videos on RUclips tell us to grab the screen with both arms at a 90 degrees angle to each other. Since I am not tall, I find it very hard to do that effectively. This method of leveraging the hip makes it so easy! I cannot believe that I can fold my screen in less than a minute.
I don't usually comment on RUclips, but holy crap! I tried two videos before this one, including the one from the manufacturer of my screen. All ridiculously complicated with explanations that did not work. Then I tried yours, and had to laugh at how easy it was. Thanks a lot!
Oh my gosh, thank you! I'm very short and I have a hard time understanding physical directions. I tried a couple of videos, and just wasn't getting it. Then I watched yours, and method #2 WORKED. Now I'm not worried my green screen hitting the table decorations, the lamps, the cats...
Thank you soooooo much!! Sooooo much!! I’ve watched multiple videos claiming it was “easy” and every week I’d have to watch the same videos wondering why it still wasn’t working. My hands have cramped up, at one point I wanted to set fire to the thing. (Actually, a lot of times) But then I saw this video and got it together on the first try. I’m sure I’ll still have to practice this method, but literally this has been the TRUE easiest method!! 🙏🏼💪🏼
OMG FINALLY 😭 I watched so many videos. That first 53 seconds was all I needed. Thanks again!!!! This thing has been unfolded for months, I just about gave up hope 😂.
OMG thank you. I watches a few videos on RUclips and they don't often explain much in straight forward terms, rarely without annoying background music and I was so frustrated with my damn screen folding fails. Watched your video, makes sense, folded on first attempt
Thanks for this...I was going insane trying to get my collapsable backdrop into shape...ahhh...your second method of putting the hand in the middle and just let it do what it does to get into the storage shape worked...I am practicing so when I am done with a shoot, I do not look stupid folding it back up...thanks!!!!
I am ashamed to say that after working on Zoom for 6 months last year(!) finishing in September (!!), my pop up screen has been against the wall until today in March (!!!!!). Now - just in time for Aussie Autumn - I can finally see out my window!!! Thanks so much.
Mine was standing against the window for months also! And after following these instructions today I was like, "What's the bright yellow thing up in the sky?" :-) Enjoy your autumn! (First day of Spring here.)
You killed it man! Same thing for me, watched like 5 videos that made it way too complicated. Did your first method and on the second try boom!!! It’s like a magic trick 🎩, Done! Thank God, I’ve had that darn thing against the wall for 3 months! You’re the best, thanks so much for this! 🙏🏼👍🏼👌🏼😁
BY FAR the best video out there for folding up those LARGE popups!!! The key phrase - "when the bottom starts to drop - let it" - that's THE magic!!!!!
You deserve a Nobel Peace Prize nomination for this video. Thank you so much!
How is this not the first video in the search result for folding screens??? Thank you!!
You Sir are the winner!!! I’ve been trying to fold mine for 2 days; watching over 6 different vids on how to do it. Watched yours and 💥 I got it on the second try!!!!
Thank you!! Here’s your trophy 🏆
Glad we could help! A product manager's gotta know the products they sell! ;)
Ooh yeah, after two days a first five secs. of your vid. ;) Thanks
Oh my gosh, I could not fold mine either, thank you ever so much!
@@InterfitPhotographicLtd you sell it?
Thank you so much! You Rock! Thank you. I felt more accomplished than graduating High School after I successfully folded my backdrop.
Do you realize this is four freaking years later and you are the best one that taught me how to do this. I have a 6 ft one and I am 5ft 2" - see you helped someone 4 years later. Especially the second methond! A BIG THANK YOU
We love that!!
There are very few people on God's earth more deserving of a sainthood than you Sir !! Just bought one and had no clue how to fold it back. Thank you !
LOL, I agree!!!
Lol! So agree! Same situation!
❤❤😂😂 Truer words never spoken
Seriously hate folding my big one everytime.. so i pull up this video to help! Still tons of tries n horrific words come out of my mouth.. mines not that easy!😮
You are a legend Sir!
EVERY time I take this background on a job with me I ALWAYS watch this video a few times first. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you SO much. You are a God sent. For the last 6 months, I've lived with that large thing in my 10 by 10 room. I appreciate you so much.
Yeasssssss. Finally. The easiest tutorial yet. It’s taken me way too long to try to get this thing closed. Thank you so much.
Totally the easiest.. worked FIRST TRY after so many attempts from other 'hold / twist / swear / freak out".. videos. :)
Dude! You just saved my life!

Cheers Steven. This has been in my hallway for 21 years
I would like to pay for your first born to go to college. I have real tears in my eyes because I thought I would just have to live with this as a roommate in my small, nyc studio apartment. Your first way is SO much easier than the other videos I've seen. Bless you - from a little lady in LA.
LIFESAVER!! I just finished what I’d consider a 15 minute workout trying to fold this thing. 😂😂😂 Can’t believe it was that simple.
Wow! Prior to this video I tried about 15 times to fold down my new backdrop without any success. I also watched a few other videos which did not help. Using the first method shown on this video I managed to fold my backdrop down on my first try! Thank you!

You are still saving lives in 2024. I just knew I'd die trying to fold up my background before watching your video. Thank you!!!
Thats exactly what I was gonna say! A true hero!
You are a great teacher and a total life saver!
It's been two years, and I'm back. Still the best value video on the internet. Bar none!
OMG THANK YOU! This stupid thing almost became a rather large frisbee right out of a second-story window. Operative word here: GRAVITY. Your tutorial was the only of, like, 8 or 9 I watched that actually worked. Serious gratitude!
Brilliant. Have been battling with mine all day and I got it on my first attempt with this video. Thank you!
After watching so many Fold Pop-Up Background videos without proper results - this video was the easiest and gave me the immediate results. I folded my backdrop at one go. Thank you so much.
I’ve watched 4 tutorials tonight and literally almost cried when your method finally worked. Thank you.
Watched multiple videos. Couldn’t do it. Tried your first method. No go. Tried the second - worked like a charm first time. Thanks!
What a flippin' star!!!!
Your first method is so easy to execute.
I've been struggling to get my giant backgrounds folded for months. Every other method I've tried worked once but just couldn't repeat it at will.
Really helpful tutorial.
Best description!! I just listened to 10 and wrestled with this damn thing for a half hour. Your first recommendation took me 1 minute. THANK YOU!!
Who’s THE BEST?!? YOU ARE!!!!! Thank you thank you THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
Best video for folding these!!!!! If I could give 100 likes I would. Easy, straight forward, and nothing unnecessary.
Sir, I just want to say THANK YOU!!!! I tried folding this for like 20 minutes and it only took me like 3 with yours!!!
Couldn’t believe the video until i just drop fold my backdrop. Yes that’s that technique new name: drop fold. YOU ARE AMAZING! Wow!
This was the only video that made sense. I was literally 10 seconds away from donating my new green screen to the location I was at and figuring I'll just buy another one next time, purely because it was the last item to pack and I wanted to get home and I just couldn't remember how to fold it. Life saver.
How can something be so easy...when it was so difficult before this video?! BEST TUTORIAL 100X!
Gravity. Who knew! Tried a bunch of different videos but your strategy of lifting it off the ground completely did it for me. Appreciate the video! Wish the algorithm put your video up higher.
One of the most important videos of our time
Thank you! I recently purchased one and it wouldn’t fold according to its included instructions. Your first method worked perfectly. Bravo sir! 😁
By far the easiest. I have probably watched a dozen of these videos. Thanks for sharing.
THANK YOU SO MUCH ! I have been trying to fold one for days. It is SO simple with your trick. You win the Internet
You ROCK. I was battling my greenscreen like a Greek wrestling a giant evil serpent, I’d push left, it would coil right- we fought for months. Your trick ended the conflict in moments and now it’s sealed away until I need it next. Thank you.
Thank you!! So much easier than trying to read the directions and folding at the same time...thank you, thank you, and THANK YOU!!
Thank you. 🤙🤙🤙
THIS VIDEO JUST SAVED MY LIFE. My reflector has just been living, fully open, in my closet or taking over my couch...for weeks now.
This is THE best tutorial for how to fold these pop up screens. Thank you.
This is the best tutorial video for doing anything that I’ve ever watched. Thank you!
I watch this video probably once a week. Extremely grateful for the tutorial!
Thank you! This is by far the best tutorial around for folding up a portable background. Thank you again!!
First tutorial that actually made sense. I got it down in two seconds. Thank you !
Wow!!!! That was a life saver, I had always been fighting to fold my pop-up backgrounds, somehow in the end I was managing to fold them but it was always a fight! Now it's as simple as unfolding them. Thank you Sir! Method 1 worked for me like a charm.

I have been struggling forever trying to fold this back after each use & the second way went so smoothly it worked on the first go, thank you for this video!
OMG-I have been wrestling with this for several years, using taking at least 2 to put it in. Your first method worked like a charm. THANK YOU!
LOL. Thank you.
I've been looking at my white backround for weeks now. Thank you so much! It's folded wonderfully now
Finally! This is the only tutorial video for this that I've seen that actually works! 🙏
This WAS THE ONE!!! Thank youuuuu did it with the first method 😅 after a billion tries!!
OMG THANK YOU. I tried other methods and they were so confusing. This was SO easy. You're awesome!
omg thank you I have been trying to fold this thing until I got frustrated and said am sure someone on RUclips has a video on how to Here you are the first video I clicked and I did it on my second try thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My gawd!
I’ve tried so many ways on many tutorials. This one is by far the best! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Four years later and here comes somebody else to say thank you! I owe you a drink or ten. FINALLY!
I don't usually comment on RUclips, but holy crap! I tried two videos before this one, including the one from the manufacturer of my screen. All ridiculously complicated with explanations that did not work. Then I tried yours, and had to laugh at how easy it was. Thanks a lot!
No joke this actually worked perfect! Easiest tutorial ever👍
The second method worked perfectly for me! I've been struggling so much before. Thank you!
Best Tutorial on folding oval backdrops
This guy deserves a medal
Oh my gosh, thank you! I'm very short and I have a hard time understanding physical directions. I tried a couple of videos, and just wasn't getting it. Then I watched yours, and method #2 WORKED. Now I'm not worried my green screen hitting the table decorations, the lamps, the cats...
True that. My ceiling lamp and cats definitely are now happy.
The first easy fold worked like a charm for me - THE FIRSt TIME!
Second method worked with me, been leaning against the wall for ages until I seen this. Thanks 👍
OMG FINALLY 😭 I watched so many videos. That first 53 seconds was all I needed. Thanks again!!!! This thing has been unfolded for months, I just about gave up hope 😂.
Already commented once. Forgot how to do this. Back to say it’s awesome!!
OMG thank you. I watches a few videos on RUclips and they don't often explain much in straight forward terms, rarely without annoying background music and I was so frustrated with my damn screen folding fails.
Watched your video, makes sense, folded on first attempt
Thanks dude, I looked up some other videos and this was the only one that made clear how to fold it
Thanks for this...I was going insane trying to get my collapsable backdrop into shape...ahhh...your second method of putting the hand in the middle and just let it do what it does to get into the storage shape worked...I am practicing so when I am done with a shoot, I do not look stupid folding it back up...thanks!!!!
Thank you so much, I have a backdrop and couldn't fold it very well. Your method made it so easy. Top notch.
