Being that large it's a miracle he lived to 54. Can you imagine how enlarged that heart was.
Yeah I know people that large usually don't live that long.
Not all people that obese have enlarged hearts.
These words made me sad that people with big heart were wrestlers and it looks so cruel to hit them I can't see them taking hits, they used to lean on the ring whole match that also explains that they were facing difficulties with their bodies
My cousin told me about the McCrary twins. He met them when he was a kid and said that they were really cool. Thank you for this Lamont

I saw Benny at the worlds records museum in San Francisco in the early 80s. People got to talk and take pictures of him. My bro walked up to him with mom`s camera and he smiled and got his picture. A boy asked him, "The other twin died?" And he looked a little sad nodded and turned away. I wish mom kept the photo but she mailed it to family. RIP to them.
I met a girl who sang the blues and I asked her for some happy news but she just smiled and turned away?😊
I met one of the twins in 1979 in San Francisco at a Ripleys Believe It Or Not- /Guinness - He was sitting on a love seat type couch in front near the entrance

I clearly remember reading about them as a child, riding their small bikes. And when they died respectively. They were really heavy set. Did not think I would ever hear anything about them again. Thanks Lamont.
@Vic yes, when I saw the picture I said to my self, wait I recognize them. I was a young kid reading about them in "guinness book of records" as I had some of them at home. Back in the day when people still had books like that, at home. Thanks Lamont.

They lived active lives & lived life to the fullest in spite of their size. Good for them. May they rest in peace.
My dad owned a camp ground in central Florida in the late 70's. The twins along with there wifes stayed in dad's campground for a month. Billy and his wife ( who was a amateur magician) visited our home several times that month. Billy taught me it was ok to be fat. Thanks Billy. R.I.P.

They wrestled on tours of Japan and God bless them for the flights, especially in the 70s where it couldn't have been that comfortable, especially for men of that size. There's a cool pic online of them teaming with Haystacks Calhoun.

Billy actually died from a heart attack when he fell off his bike. He was indeed headed to the Guinness book of world records in Niagara Falls with the tallest Woman Sandy Allen

I Remember When I Was 15 years old in 1974 my mother had the 1974 edition Of the Guinness book of World records I Remember Seeing the Mccrary twins riding On their motorcycle.🏍🏍
Yep those little Honda Trail 70s were best Honda ever made i got one for Christmas in 71 it was blue it always had 3 people on it and those guys were huge thats for sure .

I remember reading of another Guinness book of world records person who was so large at his death that he was buried in a piano case...that is, a grand piano case! I have no idea what his name is but, these twins, I never heard of. Interesting story.

I got to meet Billy at a Wrestling match in Dallas,Tx then his other brother in Houston. Both were very Party animals love to drink and smoke. Very nice and outgoing guys.

I'm in michigan and don't get a chance to get down to Hendersonville but my aunt and grandfather are buried there thanks for the viedo visit.
