How to Use Curic Extend Plugin In SketchUp

I bought this program. I wanted to extend yellow faces. However it just provide white faces. So at the end it is white column. What can I do to make it yellow? Please let me know thank you.

Can this be used for hanging cylinder rods along a curved height ? I d want the circle surface to remain straight instead of intersecting with the curve and become slopped. Please advise ?
