    great tip. I often think about swapping components , but always forget I can change origin location

    I personally find it quicker to change component (object) axes by double clicking into component, right-clicking in the free area just outside any of the component's geometry, but within the dotted component bounding box, and then using the "Change Axes" command. Changing the component's axes this way bypasses that final "Would you like to update the Component Axes..." dialog you get when selecting the Axes tool to change a component's axes.

    The reason the component axis is of, is you scaled it.
