Thank you for the video. I am from Turkey. I am a sales manager at an exporter company in Turkey and considering start an exporting business with my close friends. I think those products could be good options to start from somewhere, I am imagining an agent company that builds a reliable connection between manufacturers in Turkey and buyers abroad. As I mentioned before, I am a sales manager at a company and have some experience in international trade. What is your opinion about being an agent company in Turkey and doing exporting business?
Hello! If you have good connections with companies in Turkey, it's worth considering becoming an exclusive agent for the products. Your first move is to investigate if there's a market for the products in the counties you intend to sell to as an agent. As I am sure you're aware, it's very important that you undertake detailed and thorough market research. I wish you the best of luck in your new venture.
Hello Taha. I am based in the UK. I am interested in importing steel coils from Turkey to UK. I am in the process of building a roll forming machine that will turn the coils into roofing sheets. If u think u could help, let me know! Anthony.
Hi Jimmy, if it's a pallet with goods on it, it all depends on how fast they are needed in the UK. You have three methods to ship, sea, air and truck. If it's by sea it's "LCL", Less than a container load. I would advise you to get a quote from all three carriers. Hope this helps.
Hello, it’s a very broad question so hard to answer. Make sure to carry out your market research and make sure there is a demand for your products in Turkey. If so, make sure you have the practical knowledge needed to export from the UK to Turkey. Our RUclips channel and blog (www.abtslogistics.co.uk/blog/) has a lot of free and very practical information so please feel free to check both out.
I want to quit engineering and do this job, but I don't know where to start. I can search for the products you want from Turkey and find the best quality and the cheapest for you. Is this start correct?
Thanks for the offer but I’m retired now at the ripe old age of 82, so no longer importing or exporting but enjoy teaching young entrepreneurs what I’ve learned during my career to help them succeed.

Hi Joshua, Not sure that I understand what you mean by Turkish local taxes. Can you please explain further? Your Turkish export costs, transport costs and UK custom costs are either paid by you in UK or by the seller in Turkey depending on the Incoterm 2020 used in the contract.
