These vids are really great bro. Im getting out of trucking and im trying to go a totally different route and i found your vids looking at plasma tables and they're super informative and hilarious.
@SpicerDesignsLLC bro if a keystone guy buys the 4x4 or 4x3 setup like yours, can a feller still do bigger stuff and feed it thru the machine and the computer break it up in sections? Or does a guy need an 8ft table to cut 8ft stuff.
I followed your easy button tutorial and it really got me down the road, but I have one letter that is cut in half and I can’t get the torch to start on the inside. I need some help from an expert. Yeah. That’s you. This was a very helpful video too. And I did subscribe.
If all you have for design is Fusion 360 then of course this works, but if you use either Illustrator or Affinity Designer you also have an export option to .dxf, which you can then bring into Fusion 360 to simply thicken in the Sheet Metal tab and then make the cut path. It's just much easier at time to use the graphics design tools than CAD tools for things other than squares and circles, (just sharing)
@@SpicerDesignsLLC Keep it up, my wife and I have watched a bunch of your videos in the past few days, we are thinking about buying the XR table, I'm just watching your videos and making sure I can mimic the designs you're showing both in Inventor and Illustrator as I don't normally use Fusion 360. But I'm finding that export from either Inventor or Illustrator is working fine and I'm only in Fusion to set up the cut. I called Langmuir yesterday to ask about .dxf import into their software, unfortunately, I was told that is not an option as of yet, (strange, but okay), hopefully, that is something they will offer in the future. Simple parts should have the ability to be created on the table software, I'm not sure why that isn't part of their controller software...?
Is there a way in Fusion to say being that logo into Fusion and vectorize it. I know in Enroute and Vectric VCarve you can and and 50 percent of the time it does a good job.
I dont know of any way to do that in fusion. Everything ive done that with other programs its doesnt seem to do it very clean. It will have a ton of points.
Helpful tip in fusion is you hit the s key in sketch mode you can customize a box with all the tools so you don’t have to go to the top all the time. It saves me a lot of time.
I'm looking for a way to make the text follow two paths. Bottom would follow an inner circle, top would follow an outer circle, with the tops of the letters scaled out proportionally. Each letter is "top-heavy".
That weird. Just make sure to click the download and install the font. Sometimes when it doesn’t update fusion i just have to restart fusion. Other than that im not sure.
Hard to understand your comment. I cant make a specific video for everyone based off their computer. There should be a common search bar on your computer that you can type in font library. The video explains everything pretty straight forward.
I’m new at this just got the table a few weeks ago. I’ve been trying to figure out fusion360 with no luck. I’ve followed you video with the easy button and got to the point where you explode text but when I click on it I don’t have the option for explode text. Do I have something not set right in settings? lol. I’ve had the table put together for 2 weeks and not cut one thing cut. Wasn’t expecting the program to be so difficult
@@thirddaybuilt2838 its not bad you just have to keep practicing. It will get easier. CAD is no bs. Try clicking the letters to highlight them, then right click the letter and you should see explode text. Otherwise try a different font. That font may not have a vector form.
Figured it out. Thanks for the help. When I’m sketching I have this axis cube with arches and circles following me around messing up the sketch path. Any ideas how to shut it off?
No i dont. I paid for the subscription for a couple years. Now that i have the channel, they compensate me with a subscription. If they didnt i would still pay for it. Its great software.
Thanks for the video it is really helpful I recently purchased my pro cnc and thanks to your video I did my first cut but after the third one I been having trouble on cutting the 1/8” thick keeps saying pierce delay or high delay issues I need help please 😢😢😢

Depends on what you get used to. I think fusion is pretty easy for my application and i can do everything in one place. Always good to have options.

Thx for a great video! What site do you buy fonts from?
I think i mentioned the one site in that video. Its been a while since ive used it so i cant remember.
OK gotcha. You did mention the free one, but I didn't hear the other you said you subscribe too.

Not sure what your talking about. Theres a small menu at the bottom where you can select “displays”. Try messing with that
Can we compress a font to be thinner?
