- Today we climbed to the top of the abandoned Lewis & Clark tower. This place was in a bad neighborhood and was sketchy to explore. Our mission was to make it to the roof.

I explore the various abandoned and decrepit buildings and locations that pepper the world. These places are remnants of the past, and I enjoy documenting them for all to see before they succumb to man or Mother Nature. Join me as I enter the belly of the beast and show you what these abandoned buildings have to offer on the inside. Happy Hunting and I wish everyone safe explorations :)
NEVER VANDALIZE, NEVER STEAL, NEVER BREAK IN.

Cool video! I'm definitely going to try to explore this abandoned building in January!
I used to live down the street from this place when it was open, I remember running around some of the floors (when I could get in) with some of my friends years ago. I moved and 4 years ago very surreal coming back home to visit family a few months ago and seeing that place in that condition.
Sorry I missed the premiere.
I just went back to watch it, and this place is awesome.
The Scrappers didn't leave anything to spare here, they wanted to do a thorough job!!
I have not found many abandoned apartment buildings in my time, this is a great find.
Thank you for taking us along, as always, stay safe out there my friend
Thanks, Rich! Yeah, sadly the scrappers were relentless here. Thank you for watching!
@@lordexplores Ray Nick O Mac and Steph brought me and the lost Turtle to an abandoned Medical Center this morning. There was an entire room filled with wire casings. The Scrappers literally tore the walls down just to get the wires out of them. What used to be hallways and rooms was now one big open room, absolutely disgusting. Somewhat impressive to see the lengths they go through, but disgusting
Whoever tagged "Liar" All over the place; that's a clean, beautiful tag my dude.
This place is insane. We explored this place last summer and were busted by the cops. Glad you were able to go further than we did. Be careful around in this area though, because it's super sketchy. Awesome video
Yeah, usually the best spots are in really bad areas. I'm used to it by now haha, just gotta keep to yourself
Another fascinating video! Thanks man. There was a great article about the building in 2018 in the Riverfront Times. Just as you discovered, the first three floors were home to businesses as well as residences. The article also interviews the owner of the grocery store right next store. And the original plan was for two towers, one at each end of the strip mall. Great stuff!
Very interesting. I'll have to check that article out! Thanks for watching
I was expecting you to walk into an apartment that was spotless. That would be surreal
We ate in that restaurant in the 80s. The restaurant used to rotate.
This restaurant never rotated. I believe you must be referring to the restaurant on top of Millennium Hotel which is in downtown St. Louis. Very similar architecture styles.
It’s amazing all the stuff that gets left behind. Crazy cool spot! The roof was the best, such a cool sign!
I am loving your videos! So glad I discovered your channel!
Love exploring abandoned places and this is such an epic video!!
Agreed, this place was dope!!
There is a ton of abandoned stuff out there, but abandoned apartment buildings are on the endangered species list, don't usually find a lot of these.
🤔 well at least I don't lol
Thank you for watching!
This place was an awesome explore!!! Can’t wait for more!!
Awesome video 👍🏻👍🏻
Dang that's a crazy cool place to walk around in! Nice work!
Thanks for watching!
new subscriber and thumbs up! I love urbex explores! thanks ❤️ Nice explore in St.Louis, MO!
This was a condo building years ago. Back in the 70-80's it housed offices and a restaurant. I work in that neighborhood all of the time. Murders galore.
Nice explore! Def subbed bc your content is A1. 🙌🏽
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed
Hi guys, wow that place has gotten even more trashed than when I saw a different channels's video on it. Thanks for sharing. x
Ya my ten videos there you know who I am
Everyone is coming ro my xcity
That place is well nice. What a lovely place to explore 👍
Thanks, Jay!
This place is so weird but I like it lol.. Those elevators were crazy! Really cool place. Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Neighborhood not that bad for stl.. everyone is now going to everywhere I have been.. in my hometown..
Cool
I wonder when this place closed down and why people had to evacuate so quickly or why they left their belongings.
You all should be wearing masks. Who knows what's circulating in the air?
coronavirus
Original cylindric tower. Nice video. Why did the people go back and when ?
The neighborhood is not a bad neighborhood, it was office spaces and apartments I knew the apartment manager and a few people who stayed there before the elevators went out the building was shut down because it cost to much to renovate but it used to be a beautiful.
Castle Pointe and Moline Acres are not a bad neighborhoods? 🖐️😆 Stop it!
I would think you all are good at picking locks since you get into all these places, but how come you can't open a weak door once inside?
What a strangely set up building
Did you know you can carry bed bug eggs on your shoes, better not get too close to the furniture & mattresses? 😬😝
It's not a really bad neighborhood. Lol, I can tell when out of towners come here.
Two photos of inside that restaurant, including the wine rack - facebook.com/209958139016787/photos/a.1019885384690721/2277933558885891/?type=3&theater
I explored this place years ago just before it closed down and turned to complete shit. I explored the restaurant and took a bunch of pictures which some guy used in an article and is still up. I am more interested in the theater. I think I went there when I was a young kid maybe once or twice, I did go there in the early 90's when it was a club of sorts and seen a band play.
Hello LordExplores, I'm a part time professor at SLU and looking for an urban explorer to talk to the class on January 16. Might you be interested. Dale
2:14 a real alligator?
I don't think so, it's hard to see, but the colors don't look right.
Plus if it was real, I would assume it would be decaying and all nasty or something. And I think they would make a bigger deal out of it if it was.
I'm only replying because when I saw it I was wondering the same thing, I backed the video up and paused it to get look.
No, stuffed animal
:) ♡♡♡
There used to be a really cool restaurant. At the top at this building. So sad to see this building in such bad shape. It was beautiful back in the day until drugs and thugs took it over.
Where is this?
Highway 367 and Chambers road. St. Louis, Missouri.
The restaurant's FB page facebook.com/Rizzos-Top-of-the-Tower-Restaurant-209958139016787/
It kinda looks like a hud housing building it’s where the government leases out apartments to low income families or the less Fortunate
I kinda wanna do some research on it
Check out the article I found about it. RUclips may not let me post the link, so just do a search for: Riverfront Times Lewis and Clark Tower. The article should come up ("In the Shadow of the Lewis & Clark Tower"). Cool stuff.
Very well could have been. Thanks for watching!
It was all condos and businesses and the top was a restaurant that rotated. The building was condemned and I guess the people were forced out. Sad it used to be a nice place in the 70’s.
I've lived in St. Louis my entire life and this is not a bad area. Please don't spread false information.
Being from saint Louis, you will get the nose tap every time if your white, and he’s trying to sell you something worse 😂😂
Second
Yes it was very nice apartments at one time with a fantastic Italian restaurant at the top.
