In this video we repair a Lenovo Ideapad 330s 14ikb. The laptop was not powering on and +19V main power rail was not short.Surprisingly +3v LDO was not present. This lead me to check the Charging section. Please watch complete video for details diagnostic and repair..

@@GeneLaurentBNale You can watch my several videos where i explain about mosfet checking in diode mode range-- 1)put multimetre in diode mode range-2) connect pin 1 to pin five resulting either value or ol is good- swap probes around on pin 1 and five an check. either ol or value is good - if it beeps at any point . mosfet is short. Gate supply Pin 4 and pin 1 has same testing , gate supply Pin 4 and pin 5 has same testing.
@@futurefonesltd my problem was that the bottom right mosfet is shorted while yours is top right. Can you elaborate what to do to find the shorted capacitor?

its awsm but in my case laptop doesnt on when battery connect. its running well on ac adaptor. what should i do....?
battery change. or charging circuit problem. show it to a good technician.
@@futurefonesltd There's any video from this channel to solve this issue when battery and adaptor both are connected and need to check any shorting or as you recommand for battery charger.
because of i've no extra money to spend at all. I'll understand a lot of things from this channel after seeing your confidend video so that have a little bit hope from you.
My Ideapad 330s 14kib comes with a two-cell 7.4v battery. can I upgrade it with a three-cell 11.1v battery? If yes, should I also upgrade the charging adapter? It comes with a 45-watt adapter. Any suggestion??
How many volts and amps did you inject?
Always start with +1v and 1 amp. My voltage injection video explain more. Please check
What can we do if we have 2.4 on the power button please ? Cause the laptop not coming on with this voltage. Explain us please 🥺
Voltage drop caused by some iC shorted. Please use voltage injection method. I explained it in another video
