I am continually blown away by not only the QUALITY of Japanese convenience store foods but also the PRICE. Everything is so cheap!
As an American, it blows my mind how relatively inexpensive some of these are. A great deal of these items would be at least a dollar or more if it were sold over here, and I don't even live in a particularly expensive city.
Where I live that stuff would cost like 3 bucks

That egg and ham sandwich would be 5-7$ dollars for sure, and you'd only get like half.
Japan and the U.S. have different levels of economic growth, and that needs to be taken into account.
I thought for sure the Frappe machine would blend it for you.

Yes. It didn’t work with what he had. He needed a proper spoon with a deep bowl or a straw. What he had was far too shallow.

Some of the “Best Before” dates on the food in this video were in August and we’re now in December so it must be A LOT!!!

I was surprised that the drink machine didn't blend the frappe! I've seen in other stores that they will have smoothie machines that do so and I thought the same would apply here haha! So cool nonetheless to see all the goods you tried

Ive seen on other videos that pictures on packaging of food items in Japan must mirror the actual food item itself. This has been determined by so many videos of vlogging in Japan that demonstrates this. 👍
If I ever get to go to Japan I'm definitely not going to go in summer! I think I would melt like the chocolate on those biscuits.

Family Mart is ANOTHER GREAT STORE WHERE YOU CAN GET EVERYTHING YOU NEED. Really good food. I get the tomato and cucumber sandwich, so good
i loved family mart when i went to japan, i relied on them for some munch in desperate times and was not disappointed. i even kept a reciept from them

God, those prices! Convenience foods in the US can be comparable in quaiity to some of the dishes, but they are so much more expensive. Of course, in the US there isn't anything really comparable in quality to the fresh-packed foods like the $3 noodle meal. You could maybe get something similar for $6 here, but I would actually expect $8. It so shocking to see food prices this comparatively low during a period when the US dollar is so strong compared to the Yen.
I have an ear infection right now my doctor told me to have a limited diet so I've been just eating rice and fish which sucks, but your videos makes me feel a lot better 👍

I found the video showing the haul very funny. I realized it was longer than normal and I thought, "is it going to end once the boat is off camera?" and it did. This was intentional, and it makes me enjoy it more

Godiva used to sell those drinks when they had stores open here in Texas. Good ass drinks, but alas when they closed the stores the drinks went with them along with alcoholic chocolates they had. I miss those thinks

2:52 To be honest, I was a little disappointed that the spam musubi didn't go the extra mile by separating the nori from the other ingredients so it didn't go soggy. I guess I've gotten used to being amazed by that consideration in other fast-food onigiri offerings in your Japan videos.
