I have a 2017 E 300 and I love everything about this car it is pure luxury with every accessory we could get. I also have a 2015 C 300 that I use to do my running around in. The C 300 is nice but it cant touch the E 300s luxury. And I don't need an AMG because I don't plan on racing anyone, I enjoy cruising in luxury.
I got to drive an E300 as a loaner from the Merc dealer that I bought my preowned car from... Incredibly capable, comfortable, elegant car. It truly wont tear your face off in acceleration but that's not the point. Cruising along at 85 mph the car feels like a magic carpet that is there to coddle you all along the way. If you're able, get one.
I truly love this car! I just got a white one last month and is totally worth the money I’m paying for it. I don’t regret it, after this car I always will get a Benz
I think this is a very good option, enough luxury and power , and still to this day ------ reasonable cost , although I would go for the V 6 version. Great review !
So far I have happily only driven the Lexus . 19 years without any problems . Has only been in the shop for oil changes . The quality is unbelievable and the reliability without comparison ! BUT , OMG what have they done to the styling .Ugly is its name . As a woman I can not accept the front grill ! Fine for a macho man but not for me !Went to the Mercedes Dealership-the first time in my life .Fell in love with the E300 .The seats are so comfortable and did my poor back good . The seat embraces your back and the sides of your upper body . But unfortunately I was unable to get the color combination for the interior , that I wanted ! I will wait for the next model year !
I don't understand why you Americans complain about power in luxury sedans. They are meant for luxury. Power merely needs to be adequate. In other markets we get an E200 which has about 180 hp and even that is more than enough. Why do you need more? Being a German car it puts the power it has down better than any brand from anywhere else.
Doctor Detroit These base engines are the most reliable since they are the most common. The are old E200 Kompressors around with hundreds of thousands of miles. They know these engines are most popular so reliability is ensured.
My model is 350d. It's V6 3.0L turbodiesel, with 258hp. I would say it is very powerful, with 620nm of torque. 5.9s 0-100km/h is quite fast for a 1.8 ton sedan IMO.
Driving a 2014 E350, which I love, they made the new model more conservative imho, especially the rear end. Is there such a thing as an interior being too elegant and stately? Looking at the 5 series.... hmmmm.
I'm looking to purchase a E 300. The dealerships near do not have the 2017 right now keeps trying to get me to get the E 350. IS there anything about the E300 I need to know?
Why not there are examples with over 500 000 in europe for sale with perfect interiors and regular service schedule, I was driven in a taxi optioned one with 615k on the odometer and couldn't tell if it was 5 years or 1 year old.
I feel like the saloon version of the e class just makes it look so much cheaper and smaller for that amount of money it costs. My dad drives the estate e class and it is such a big difference
Not sure where you're getting your numbers from, but it clearly states on the Mercedes-Benz website that the W213 E-Class sedan has 13.1 cubic feet of cargo capacity.
It is a fine car, no doubt about it. But I still love my old W211 E320 Avantgarde, it's still the best looking E class ever, and the interior is classic and not so super modern, which I still love. I guess I'll drive it until it dies, which will last still a long time to come... XD
Hi. 8 have owned 5 mercedes-benz consecutively in the last yrs. I don't buy brand new but nearly used .my last 2 eclass has man made fabric and imitation leather. Other than making my back a little uncomfortable when temperatures get high or really long journey. I honestly think and pleased mercedes has g9ne down the synthetic option. No need to have full leather in my honest opinion. How long these materials last is another factor 🤔
It doesn't feel like leather. It doesn't feel bad by any stretch but its a far cry from the plushy leather in those S class'. It's probably worth the extra money if you're set on leather. I got the MB Tex in my w205 and it honestly doesn't bug me day to day.
Hmmm, something seems wrong with those measurements. Must be a mistake, from all the other reviews it seems like they are about the same. The boot in E-class is pretty big.
I used to own a 2013 and am really disappointed with the looks of the new one. The old car had alot of presence on the road, especially in black. This is one is nearly in distinguishable from a C class. Looks smaller too. Bummer.
"underpowered for a luxury car" Why does a luxury car need to have power! It's not a sports car. I'll take comfort/quiet over power when I'm looking for a luxury car.
You lost all credibility when you said ‘the interior is ugly’. And the power is perfectly fine with a zero to 60 in about 6 seconds. How much faster does one need to drive, really? You can get the C450 for just a bit more $ and it is truly fast.

I'm happy you brought that up about the c300. How do they compare size wise is the 300 a lot bigger? They look similar in size
Help me get one for myself and family I guess 😪 😔 😅😅😅😀

I just purchased a 2017 week ago. I was fearful of it but now I'm spoiled. I loveeeee it
congrats!!

Great review! You definitely made me think about my next ride. I currently have a 2012 E350

I love my 2014 E350 4Matic
What color is this, is it cavasite blue ?
Can you please do a Why Buy review for both the 2018 MB GLA 250 and the 2018 MB C-class?
Nice car, but I would get the e350 2016 and below- V6 non- turbo, that turbo will go out eventually in the V4 and V6 in the 2017 and up!
An awesome video for an awesome car!
What other power are u looking for? Do u want to fly?????
where is he looking?
Really well done video. Thanks!

Thinking of getting one of these with 80.000 miles on it. What do you guys think?

I don't understand why he doesn't look at the camera. Seriously it just bugs me like whaaaaaaaaaa??
Well done.
I'm sorry but there's a huge error on your practicality facts. The E-Class Sedan has 19 cu.ft of boot space and not 13.1. Please correct this
Not sure where you're getting your numbers from, but it clearly states on the Mercedes-Benz website that the W213 E-Class sedan has 13.1 cubic feet of cargo capacity.
@@myscrnnm I don't know what they state, but the boot is huge. I am w213 sedan owner.
@@SWENWAR I never said it was small. That’s just what the boot capacity is.🤷🏻♂️

congratulations to Mercedes for these seats without an animal skin !
Found the vegan
I wear animal skin, and all my cars have animal skin.😆

What is wrong with MB tex. It still looks, feels and smells like leather plus animals wouldn't have been abused to get it. Also it ages better.

13 cubic feet is so small. Hell then what's the C-class or the CLA. That's almost ridiculous.
Hmmm, something seems wrong with those measurements. Must be a mistake, from all the other reviews it seems like they are about the same. The boot in E-class is pretty big.
Does this car have good leg room for tall guys??anyone!!

You say "ausgefuchst" for tricked out in German! ;)
Dude, you need to work on your TelePrompter skill.
My friend. You are surrounded by old buildinngs looks like Berlín in 1945. Are You in. Detroit ??
👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👍👍👍
he is in Detroit by the packers plant
And it also said Detroit Michigan on the navigation screen lol
First like, yaaaaaaaaaaaay!!! 😜
Tunku fawzy
To me "swaggy" means "wannabe cool" not a solid performer. Just sayin'.
Talk to much.
Such an ugly exterior. So overpriced. Suspect reliability at best. Way underpowered for a luxury car. I dont get it but then again I'm poor.
Blake Swan Looks are subjective. I think it's beautiful. Drive it and you will realise why it costs what it costs. It is not overpriced.
You're just mad cause you can't afford one.
"underpowered for a luxury car"
