Gus has replaced Brent Musburger as my all time favorite play by play commentator. Klatt is an excellent color analyst as well. This is the best duo in sports.

It's a shame defensive players aren't considered seriously for the Heisman...everyone only talks about the QBs but the award should go to the best and most exciting college player...
It does go to the most exciting player... Its not every year you get a defensive player as dominant or disruptive as chase young.. I dont think he will win the hiesmen but i think he made his case for #1 overall next year

They said Johnathon Taylor was the best running back and JK was behind him. Didn't seem that way to me.
Our 2nd string rb Teague had as many rushing yards this game as their Heisman Jonathan Taylor.
Nobody should be suprised if chase youngs name is the first to be called on april 23rd.
it should be but the dolphins, bengals or whoever will take a qb. some teams gonna get a steal with the third/fourth pick lol.
The sad thing for us fans and most likely for him, he's gonna end up in some garbage team with a terrible record for 4 or 5 years & possibly begin to lose his passion for the game.
That's one of my theories anyway. I think it happens all too often with these really good, hyped players. Dominant in college then forced to toil in relative obscurity & end up as "busts"! I'm definitely NOT saying that's going to happen to him, he's an upper echelon type guy, Kahlil Mack type guy so he should be fine. Just, that sort of thing happens too much imho....

@@jolant02 Oh he wants to win my friend. Anyone who has ever played any level of organized sports wants to win. Especially at that level. And repeated, constant, losing over years & years will crush the most die hard soul. Ask Barry Sanders & Calvin Johnson.
I'm not saying it will happen to him, I'm just saying that sort of thing is one of my theories about how/why some of these massively hyped college guys bomb on Sundays.

Stop Every one played well.. The linebackers were great corners were great the o line played awesome getting huge pushes. Justin played great as always. Only our special team was sus on one play allowing the blocked punt resulting in 7 pts for wisconsin.
All the Badgers gonna have nightmares about #2 in Scarlet and Gray tonight.

@Ted Nahas you make a good point... But I would have taken my chances with anyone else on defense after the first couple of sacks... He was wrecking the entire game single handedly... You have to try and change things up after a while of running in to a brick wall or in this case #2 for the Buckeyes

Chase Young reminds of Clowney in college. Looks like a lot of beating guys with straight speed. Looking forward to seeing him play better offensive lines.
Clowney was a nice player but Chase Young is on a whole other level. You said Chase is based off of speed. Your tripping the guy is a Technician at the DE spot. Uses his hands and hips which separate 's good Defensive Ends from great one's.
Using hands/technique is what Larry Johnson teaches - that's why most of the starting guys he coaches get looks to play on Sunday. Good O-line? You mean like Wisconsin that regularly sends most of their guys to the Pro's? C'mon you're embarrassing urself Chip dust. Two years from now when your watching Zach Harrison follow Joey Bosa, Noah Spence, Nick Bosa, Sam Hubbard, Tyquan Lewis, Dre'Mont Jones and Chase Young with a Draft hat on his head maybe you'll finally bow down to the Sensei - Larry Johnson!
I thought Johnathon Taylor was the best rb in the nation and he went 20 attempts for 52 yards and J.k. went 20 attempts for 163 yards that’s more than their passing yards

Every TD pass that Justin Fields throws... Every TD that he runs... I can almost guarantee you that everyone who had a hand in the decision to let him walk to keep Jake Fromm as the starting QB for the Georgia Bulldogs, are kicking themselves in the ass. Dumbest decision I've seen in a long time. Jake Fromm was 8/12 for 35 yards their last game :'-(
I'm very surprised they let him go. This kid is highly talented. But I get they wanted Fromm ad their leader and what not. Fromm is very good too but he's having some issues tho.
I'm not suprised, a lot of us dawg fans are use to the program making dumb decisions by now. Fields shouldve started last year during the lsu game and thereafter. Uga is going to regress now, they refuse to adapt or change with the game. Best of luck to fields and osu, I think you guys have the natty this year.
I know bro. I should be used to it but some of our decision making still burns my ass. Truth be told, I'm still upset about losing to South Carolina!! I almost had to go to the hospital for chest pains that day!! I felt like driving to Georgia and slapping the hell out of Kirby Smart :-)
All of us Bulldogs fans are. But looking at it from their standpoint, they had a kid who took them to the National Championship his Freshman year... With that on his resume, it was going to be hard to bench him for Fields. Ultimately, they took "Conviction Over Principle" :'-(

Nope, as long as they are not on the field at the same time (so, basically you can have one on offense and one on defense. OSU has several duplicate numbers). NCAA changed the rule years ago because of all the numbers being retired.
Jonathan Taylor only got less than 50 yards and then you see mah dude Jk Dobbins.

My gut reaction is that Ohio is leaning way too hard on Dobbins for yardage and they could be in trouble if he got injured. But my brain tells me from seasons past that Ohio keeps their bench stacked deep. There would probably be another guy waiting to shine right behind him.

I was more commenting on coming into this game and immediately thinking that they were leaning on one player. But my mind flashed back to a few choice seasons where the incredible depth of OSU was shown. Of course the biggest being their 3rd string QB Cardele Jones winning the national championship. So yeah, I know they are stacked and if Dobbins went down, they probably have another freak of nature to step up. Maybe it would be Teague.

Not my words - PFF's . He's 5th in the conference in rushing! (as of Friday). Dobbins hasn't played a full game yet as Day is planning for just that contingency (injury).

The O line needs better coaching... Too many mistakes, missed assignments to blame it all on the players. The QB needs to go back to high school for another 2-3 years, so he can learn to pass the ball instead of just throwing it. And he also needs to learn when to throw the ball away. These modern athletes don't stand out as refined and well coached players. They just look so so, like any freshman on the squad. Go get Tressel's scouts to have a look for the next gen of tOSU players, cause these guys need help. JMO
