Hmm we should see in the future.
The fact that all the most powerfull races are pawns, makes a great dynamic for the final game, since pawns are the pices that are sacrificed at like every opprtunity in chess if an advantage presents itself, and since its probably gonna be similar to real war chess, it also means the easiest to sacrifice pieces have the biggest egos, so they wont listen to any sacrifice plays without some incentive
True however they might have mini games to determine moves, like if they dont want to move and cant be violent they will need games with shiro to determine wether they are sacrifices or not. Lol
Disboard is a giant chess board, I think. I'm definitely interested in finding out how It all plays out.

What if the final battle will be fought like an old war style? Old Deus' physical and mental presentation is trapped inside each crystalized chess piece in the world, then when the last battle starts, those crystals will finally shatters and letting all 16 old deus to materialize and rampage to the disboard.
Now the trick is both sides is protected by the rules ( no one can kill or steal) until someone's piece gets eaten..
16 old deus, 16 continents. If one old deus' piece eaten, that continent will be spared and its old deus will vanish.
16 races, 16 contient. If one race piece gets eaten, then an old deus in that continent will be permitted to harm anything in that one continent which would mean a death sentence to everything in that continent
Well. I went and looked each race piece and not gonna lie. But those bad players I belive would be the elfs/elves and the top 5 races. The elves because well elves.
As for the top 5. Well given their rank and the fact that (spoilers) their pieces are all pawns.
I also belive Sora and Shiro's greates allies will be the Flügel. This because of both their race piece being the queen and well what happend in volume 5.
Yup I thought the same. There are a lot of ideas and interactions that I didn't expand on in this video to avoid spoilers. I'll be making follow up videos when certain information is revealed, like with the events of Volume 5 and when we learn which chess piece represents each race in Volume 6.

I kinda agree with your idea, but I also think the planet is going to be the board
So when I was watching, A thought cross my mind.
What if the final game is a grander version of the war chess game they play originally to became the representative of imanity.
Firstly, it would be a really fitting thematic point, it would be a call back to their “origin”
Secondly, with the race piece being what they are, I can imagine many would not be willing to simply be a sacrificial piece just for the sake of victory. And would call back to how in the original game, they had to consider the pieces not just a piece on the board, but as individual.
Thirdly, as they gather Allies, they have very much became something of a great uniter, and would be so thematically cool to see them once more take on the role of a true leader/king, instead of just a player.
And lastly, since total war chess at time pieces not function as it normal does, it would play perfectly with how some races may not follow the “rule” of chess, and act on their own.
what if instead of each race controlling one piece, each race representive takes the place of that chess piece

I agree with the statement about the final game being some sort of chess derivative and also agree with that it will be 16 v 1. But that is all I agree with. I feel as if the races representatives will act as their corresponding race piece(or as the general of their races army). With gaining abilities based on what piece they are. For example with emanity being the king they maybe able to always have knowledge of the board state(location of pieces). With all of the races having to work together to win. Of course with each race being an actual representative they will have a natural will of there own and can deny any "order" given to them.
I know that this can bring up the problem of who becomes the one true God when they win. But to that I say that we already got the answer in emanities coronation of Sorra and Shiro. If they all win they could all share in the status as one true God and work together to keep the world running as almost a pseudo senate.

This sounds as an interesting outcome, but that leads me to a question, if the game works like chess that means that the races with a pawn (not sure which those are, would you do a video bout that topic) when in the opposite side of the board can "transform" into other pieces/races?
I think in terms of 'promotion' they might gain more abilities when upgraded to a stronger piece.
We have no real idea what all is going to be at play in this game but it's certainly going to be more than normal chess and the idea of promotion will certainly play a factor

Putting aside werebeast. Those are some insane race. I imagine there in lies why they were pawns. They have insane potential to replace any other race, and or even manifest their distinguishing abilities when time is right.

i wonder about the whole 16 players aspect of this theory, according to the pledges a designated representative with absolute authority are to play against the other party, once all races are united would they not need to pick a representative for all of them in this game against tet? even if all of them are involved in the game itself would the representative not be the one who gains the benefit of the bet made with tet? kind of like how jibril and steph play in the war beast game but since sora and shiro are the representatives of immanity they gained all of the benefits of winning that game
