- The 16 seeds, the sentient races that exist in the world of Disboard and to whom the covenants apply. The are the driving force of the No Game No Life series and yet we meet so few of them over the course of the anime, so let's meet them all now!

I just find it hilarious to use Flügels as a mesure unit to determine the power level of other races xD
Yeah. Races below them and how many of them would take to kill a race above them.
Fun fact by the end of the Great War the ex machina had these attacks in their arsenal.
1. Artosh Heavenly Smite
2. Phantasma Spirit Tunes
3. Aki Si Anss
4. Jibrils Heavenly Smite
5. The E bomb
6. Various other Dragonia Far Cry which are stated to be on the same tier as a E bomb and Aki Si anse let that sink in
7 Aranliefs Far Cry
8 Flugel Shift
So yeah the ex machina are utterly broken and if they didn’t have to sacrifice themselves to learn and copy abilities they would imo be the strongest race on disboard.
But riddle me this, the information is worth it as it gets send straight to the central mind and gets distributed to the other drones. Imagine using your ultimate spell then suddenly having thousand of drones using the same exact spell XD
From what I understood humans or immanity are the original inhabitants, the evolution of disboard is more or less the same as Earth up to the point where immanity gained sentient thought and had potent enough wishes and desires that literally materialized into the first old deus, who then according to Tet gave birth to all other races. So in a sense immanity while the weakest are the progenitor of all exceed. Kind of like how Tet was born from Riku's wish except he was pulled out by the sheer amount of magic present instead of materializing from millions of immanity thinking about war for example. It's sort of endearing to think that if immanity goes extinct every other race could eventually just fade out of existance.

Which is why they are considered by Tet to be the King piece: if they die the game (world) ends
But what about Elementals? Gods are born from Spirit circuits. And that's made of Elementals. I think Elementals are also original inhabitants and source of all magical in that world

I like to view phantasma as lovecraftian monsters in the form of worlds. Just roaming around creating fear in other races.
BTW, the Ex-Machina may not have the highest affinity for magic, but they have uparalleded control over their spells and can freely combine their magic with cutting edge technology.
They, not the Flugels, are the ultimate weapons of war, though individually they aren't that strong either.
A nuke beats a swiss knife, even if the latter has more functions.

Sorta like how truth and doubt are stronger than war...But, war can wipe away either of those concepts by killing those who speak it.

Conclusion, on average:
*dragonia = 50 flugels*
Jibril casually takes down a dragonia on her own...
...well maybe not exactly casual, but she definitely did it on her own.
WHICH MEANS:
*Jibril = ±50 flugels* 👌
She is the strongest of the entire race after all

Jibril is the last flugel created by the strongest Old Deus (not Tet who won the war but Astosh who was the god of war) and Azril who gives us a fair bit of reliable info on her the two most important pieces being that in a game of tag between 100 flugel and one Jibril, Jibril will win and it wouldn't qualify as a competition but absolute victory and the other being Astosh gave her what was described as the 'gift of imperfection' which basically means she has the potential to grow beyond her start and is the key to flugel evolution. Jibril was made with all the experience Astosh had after creating the entirety of the race and then given room to grow so she is top of the flugel with only the more power focused members of the council of 18 wings (basically flugel parliament/senate) being close to her.
As a more concrete power comparison she has soloed members of the 5th, 4th and 2nd of the Ixseed but it took 30 attempts each using the fact she cant die to try again so a 3.33% chance against things that are second to literal gods isn't half bad.
Remember she also killed up to a panthasma alone, she's extremely strong being the last one of her kin

No Game No Life has been my number 1 anime for as long as I can remember watching anime. I don't know if it's nostalgia biases because it was one of the first 5 animes I've watched. It's genuinely the best anime for me personally but lots of people seem to disagree and I don't know why.
No game no life 0 is way better imo

No Game No Life is also my uncontested favourite anime. My guess is that the perverted aspects of it might turn people off.
Maybe Artosh can still rely on the warfares not restricted by the pledge, like information warfare that Shiro and Sora constantly apply themselves in
given how the flugel refer to artosh in past tense "our late creator"~jibril he was most likely only the fight=kill kind of war. so his concept became so weak that he could no longer exist as a old duce basically killing him. if the concept of war was brought back as information war etc it would make a similar god but not artosh its like cloning someone even if they have the same DNA doesnt mean they will be just like the original even identical twins are different

It's really interesting how the Old Deus, despite being the strongest of the Ixseed are dependant on lower creatures for their existance. It kinda balances out in an ironic way

Well sort of. Halo the god of truth and doubt was one of the first living beings in the world. Even before Imanity. I think only the elementals still existed back then. That is likely because the concept of truth and doubt was very prevelant even if the number of creatures to believe in it were few.

it was awesome to see Jibril try and defeat that one dragon with the warping tech
Wow learning about all these races has certainly increased my interest in watching the movie and hoping for more of it in the future..
As for what race id mosz look forward to, definitely the dhampir, as i do have a big fondness for cute vampire/succubus girls like the ones shown in the video and really like the way their described. I can already well imagine them being rather playfully elegant with some smug arrogance perhaps and i adore the sound of that~

Likely one to kill Saitama, they are literal Godkillers. You will have to be specific on isekai for others

Well it is said that even if 200 Flugel fought together they would still likely loose against an Old dues. So that number is likely right.
For the life of me I cannot understand why there is no season 2. They are just leaving money on the table if you ask me. After all these years No Game No Life is still regularly talked about with great reverence.

Great world building and concepts ruined by excessive fanservice. Zero was great, just an adequate amount of it and emphasizes more on the actual great storytelling. I fell in love with this anime when I saw materialization shiritori.

They relied on the spirit circuits of dis board to exist like they did
The moon has its own (much weaker) spirit circuits due to how close it was (like radiation)

You didn’t bring it up but I’m pretty sure after the great war (6000 years ago) the Seiren actually didn’t have a problem with reproduction, it was only the Dhampir because the Serien still had their queen who is so hyperfertile she can get pregnant with a literal strand of hair. It was only after the current queen went into that deep sleep 800 years before the novel starts that they have the issue and have to form a relationship with the Dhampir.

@@Haseo55 I didn't miss that detail, I chose not to include it since that is something that is revealed after Volume 6 and I will be covering in a separate video. This current video is meant to be spoiler free as discussing the purpose of each race involves also discussing many other things that happen later on.
Also, the identity of the race piece doesn't say anything about the culture or biology or origin of the race itself. The pieces likely indicates the overall role that race will play in the story so its a different topic entirely
