I always watch these “are you a lukewarm Christian?” Vids thinking I am. But then I come to the realization that I am literally on FIRE for God! I could not be more relieved! I pray that everyone who is here turns to become an on fire child of God! ❤❤ Jesus loves you!
@@IdKwhatimdoing-t8x The church has turned from following the Lord. Christians resist the Holy Spirit and follow men and men's doctrines. They can't take the truth and hate the brethren. You can't have fellowship in a Babylon church building, and have fellowship with Jesus. They're enemies of God.
@@TheFightingSheep it depends with the church you attend. my church is very open and the people are much happier when you're on FIRE for God, like singing your heart out! that's one thing. God bless you
Room temp Christian here! I do my Bible study, pray, go to church. But I work in an office all day. So this Saturday I'm volunteering! I'm helping at a store I'm gonna let my light shine so everyone can see the glory of God!
@@coffeebux You can work in an office and not be lukewarm. We must be ready to share the Gospel, love others at all times and be ready for Jesus to use us. He has us planted everywhere 💕
I respect the honest brother and even better you've got a plan to improve it. I feel an inspiration to donate some time next weekend. Soup kitchen, we've got one of those. Anyways good for you man. God bless you.
Instead of going into more busyness, you could spend those quiet moments with the Lord. It's very easy to create 1000 tasks to do for God, whereas spending moments in silence not to ask anything and just be in his presence, this too can renew your spirit.
my mother is lukewarm and she doesnt listen to me when i tell her being lukewarm isnt a good thing. she i proud to say that she is lukewarm. she wears inappropiate clothes, her boyfriend as well is lukewarm, she leaves and comes home the next day and when people confront her about it she tells them she is her own big woman, she's not trying to change, she has sex outside marriage, she treats me unfairly, etc. i pray that God opens her eyes and guides her down his path. i pray that he protects her, helps her realize she needs him in her life. its really hard on me especially as a 13 year old girl that doesnt really have her dad in her life and sometimes her mom but i know im going to make it through this.
Try looking around your church for service opportunities for yourself, your mother and her boyfriend! The video talks a lot about how to be a "hot" Christian, but not much about how to be a "cold" one. I would say the main difference is that hot Christians find it easier to create new opportunities, plant new churches, "spread the fire of God." Whereas cold Christians find it easier to give generously, to love on their brothers and sisters in Christ, to take the opportunities created by the hot Christians and keep them going, to "refresh" other believers and help the hot Christians avoid "burnout." If you find a service opportunity within your church, that you are passionate about, it likely means you are a cold Christian. That strengthens your own faith too, since you become more excited to serve God, which in turn decreases your desire to sin.
@Technix-sx5qm my kther might run to God but im happy because yesterday me and my best friend helped my ex turn to God. even tho he wanted proof and stuff like that.
You have no idea. I literally immediately dropped onto my knees by my bed after watching this video, and poured my heart out to God. I feel his presence so vividly right now :)
I was lukewarm. I then lost my wife to divorce, our 18motnh daughter taken away for 50/50 custody and I have been struggling in my loneliness and love for them. My faith is stronger than ever now and I pray for my family to be restored. Please pray with me

It’s so good of you to recognize your own area of lukewarmness. Jesus has you, keep leaning into Him and He will help you. He loves you so much. Don’t forget it
1 John 5:14 (ESV) "And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us." if you truly want a relationship with God, find peace in knowing that God will make it happen at the right time. it might be today, it might be tomorrow, or it might be a decent distance in the future, but if you keep that desire up, it WILL happen. hope this helps and God bless! ❤
I’ve had a really hard time with this. I’ve been lukewarm. I pray and I read my Bible everyday but I feel like I’m getting nowhere. I try to use what I read in my Bible in my life but it’s like I forgot everything I read. I do what I don’t want to do and don’t do what I want to do. It’s so hard for me to share the Word and I even feel ashamed of it at times, like when a Christian video pops up when I’m with people I feel embarrassed and I know I shouldn’t. I pray and pray but again I feel like I’m going nowhere. It’s so frustrating and I don’t know what to do.
Hey, you don't need to be a "hot" Christian. God needs "cold" Christians too. I think the main difference is that a hot Christian is skilled in "spreading the fire" by creating new opportunities, planting new churches, etc. But a cold Christian is skilled in giving to the churches established by the hot Christians. Cold Christians keep the churches going, nurture the congregation, serve in the ministries, etc. Try giving back to your church and see if you are a cold Christian like me.
This is completely wrong ! Lukewarm and is mixing Law and Grace !!! Mixing the old covenant and the new ! Etc If your COLD , then your under LAW and then the Holy Spirit can convict you and bring you to Chris (grace through faith) Galatians 3:23-25 KJV But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. [24] Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. [25] But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. If your HOT then your under Grace and depending totally on the “finished “work of Jesus ! Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast. Romans 6:14 KJV For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. However if you keep flipping between law and grace you make God sick ! Ie , you believe your saved by Grace and Jesus was enough ! But then you try and add to that by works and law keeping etc , as if to say ,Jesus , you weren’t enough , in need to earn it by good works etc! You make God sick!!! And He can do nothing with you !!
@@happyharry8458I disagree. I feel that a lukewarm Christian, as stated in the video, believes they are saved but does nothing about it. A hot Christian is "on fire for God." These people feel more comfortable spreading the Gospel, "spreading the fire" so to speak. And a cold Christian is "refreshing" and helps the hot Christians avoid "burnout." These people are passionate about serving the body of Christ and their communities at large. Paul was a hot Christian in 1 Corinthians when he "planted the seed," and Apollos was a cold Christian when he "watered it." The 12 disciples were hot Christians in early Acts when they focused on spreading the Word of God, and the 7 servants they appointed were cold Christians when they focused on giving to the poor. I would say a hot Christian is one focused on spreading the Gospel to unbelievers, while a cold Christian is one focused on serving and giving to the church and the world.
@@Joe-rz3fd so , by your logic is somebody who leads “100” souls to Jesus per week is HOT and somebody who leads “0” souls is COLD , making the person in the middle , leading “50” souls to Jesus per week , LUKEWARM. Therefore the “0 “ and the “100” souls is ok with God , but the “50” souls person gets vomited out ? This logic is in error , sorry ! Anything we do is “works” , including spreading the Gospel , and nobody will be justified (declared righteous) by works ! However Faith alone will cause us to be declared Righteous! Not our actions ! If your trying to add to salvation then your mixing Faith and Works ! That is lukewarm and makes God Sick ! Romans 4:5 KJV But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Faith is only counted as righteousness if you “worketh not” ie 0% work , 100% faith ! If you add works to faith it voids the faith ! Romans 11:6 KJV And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. One voids the other ! This is the work of God John 6:28-29 KJV Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works (plural) of God? [29] Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work (singular)of God, that ye believe (Faith) on him (Jesus) whom he hath sent. Remember, it’s the “many” who say “we did all these WORKS in thy name” but Jesus NEVER knew them ! Matthew 7:21-23 KJV Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the WILL of my Father which is in heaven. [22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful WORKS ? [23] And then will I profess unto them, I NEVER knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. What is the “WILL of the Father “?? John 6:40 KJV And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him(FAITH) , may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. Works isn’t mentioned for salvation, only believe ! Works voids faith ! Works are claimed by those Jesus rejects ! Therefore mixing pure faith with ANY works makes God sick ! Hope this helps , truth is all that matters , don’t be one of the many that depends on any work ! Faith in the shed blood of Jesus is all you need , nothing more !
@@enochlewis9035 My advice is if you can't sleep at night you probably feel empty because you haven't done something. Pray Do you pray at night? Pray. Praying is very important for you to know you are safe and to get a closer relationship with Our Lord and God What u do is to pray then have a Bibke study:reading God's word and The Lords prayer and sometimes the rosary and more prayers. It is really important to develop that Christian life and put it forward in your daily life. I'm going to pray for you tonight and you remember to pray to!❤️
I know how that feels man. I got saved a few years ago and recently i started becoming lukewarm especially after moving countries and having a tough time at school but slowly as I've made friends, I have tried to show the love of God and preach the gospel to some of my friends. For it is written “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." Although the journey as a Christian is at times difficult, through God's strength and the power of Holy Spirit we are lead back onto the right path and can continue to preach the good news of Jesus!
i'm also going through a period of lukewarm Christianity, and it scares me, but i find peace in these two sayings: God made a way out before, and He'll do it again. if God led you to it, He's gonna lead you through it and bring you out. God bless and may God lead you back to Him. remember how the shepherd will always leave the 99 on the mountain to go after the single one that went astray. Jesus loves you ❤
That's wonderful... As for me... I don't know... I'm not against God, and yet, I don't usually go to church since I'm busy, and still too shy to share about my thoughts for God... But I'm still trying to gain bravery someday, and I still have so many questions and I prayed to God why and how... I just don't know...

@drunkydrunk2351 There's a verse somewhere, and I don't remember where, but it goes something like this; if you wait for the perfect weather, you'll never do it... Sometimes, you need to just send it. Yeah, it's scary, but you can do it. Love ya man, I'll pray for you
I'm a 14 year-old girl and I also wanna say - this was a great video for me to watch today. I have been kinda prioritizing secular needs instead of spiritual. My brother was diagnosed with lung & leg cancer and instead of praying about it or doing anything like that I just shoved everyone away and tried to keep everything together. But now my uncle just passed away and my family was gathering and praying for him to go to heaven and I realized that I had been ignoring God for the last year and that I need to get back into reading my bible and leaning on God in my everyday journey. Thank you for reminding me that I should be focusing more on my spiritual walk with Jesus. (Btw I'm a new subscriber :)
I've been a lukewarm Christian for years, but I thank Jesus for He called me during difficult period where I lost my way. Now I understand that as a sinner I always need to repent and turn back to God. Thanks to His Holy Spirit who guides me to His way, I'll be able to get up and keep following Jesus. I know that our works cannot saved ourselves, but only having faith in Jesus we can be saved. Thank you Jesus for saving me 🙏❤️

Honestly, I feel like most churches today are lukewarm. And I feel that sometimes I’m hot or cold. Hopefully I can grow stronger in faith and character in dark times.
It took me to lose everything until God restored my life and since then… my new faith is unwavering. He saved my life. I leaned on him when I exhausted all of my options and my own understanding. I believe he pulled me closer to him by taking everything away from me because I couldn’t do it myself. I learned my lesson.
@@darrylbonner7208 it took me to g9 through my dog’s passing to grow as close as ever to GOD. Struggling in dark times really makes you grow so much closer to him. The day after the news hit me I was just in pieces. I was sobbing all day, and could barely drag myself out of my bed to the other side of my room to grab my bible. Once I did, I started reading scriptures while it seemed that endless tears were falling down on each page. I was gasping, praying to him to heal me from these dark times… And he did. He has helped me go through grief and has healed me from that pain and nurtured me in (what it felt like) his arms. I hope this message goes out to you in an uplifting way, and for you to know that you don’t HAVE to lose something to grow closer to him. But in those times he is the one to reach out to. ❤️
I gave my life to Jesus back in 2021 but I fell into sin very hard that I was living in depression and anxiety for 3 years and I could hear the enemy telling to end my life all because I was saved (when he actually wanted to commit suicide). I didn't know what to do until I had this feeling to text my friend, who helped me with accepting Jesus as my Savior back then, on what to do and I did and she told me that Jesus loves me and He wants me to go back to Him. I was so ashamed to see His face and asked His forgiveness because I thought He doesn't want me anymore. Then I went to RUclips and your video on "What To Do When God feels Distant" was recommended to me and I was able to go back to Him. And I've read my Bible and pray like I should've and now I found healing. And I feel joy that I never felt before. And I could feel God's presence again. I wanna thank you guys for your videos. Keep sharing God's love and Discipling people. ❤🙏
I have been lukewarm. I started going to Bible study once a week and the more I'm involved in the church and around other believers, hearing their own journey and struggles, the more I learn. We pray for each other and build a friendship.
That's a great first step! As a next step, I would encourage you to try out different forms of service to God. If you find that you are more talented and passionate in the area of evangelism, in saving the lost, in sharing your story and the basic story of Jesus, then I would call you a hot Christian. If you find that your gifts and interests are more in the service department, giving to the offering, meeting physical needs, assisting within the church body, then I would call you a cold Christian. And make no mistake, God needs a lot of both.
I am really struggling with lukewarm Christianity.I am tired and i hate myself a little bit.I know God is calling me to share the Gospel at school but i don't listen,i am scared. And yes i am not so good at praying or reading the Bible.I feel like a fool. I want to quit but i can't,i know trough God ALL things are possible and i pray for deliverence and God to save me but idk i just am sad for my spiritual being because i see that it is not so good. Every prayer is welcomed and i will try this and there is NO chance that i will give up no matter what. May God bless you all and deliever you who are lukewarm christians.☦️✝️🕊️❤️
You may be a cold Christian then. I think the main difference is that a hot Christian is skilled in "spreading the fire of God" to new places and new people, whereas a cold Christian is skilled in "refreshing" the people of God. In other words, hot Christians are better at evangelizing, while cold Christians are better at serving and giving. A hot Christian's mission is to create new churches and new believers. A cold Christian's mission is to make the church a welcoming place. A cold Christian might give generously to the offering, work the sound booth or the kitchen, serve in kids' ministry, or anything else like that. So try that! Try some service opportunities at your church and see what that does for you!
Hey there! Jesus loves you so much and He understands how you feel. I believe that a tool to help you navigate this is community. I don’t know if you have a regular church home or group of Christian friends but, it’s great to have that. God will strengthen you and help you, but find others to walk this out with you as well. And I do college ministry which is very nerve wracking lol. But realise it’s not all on your shoulders. God can work through you where you are, just keep an open heart to Him. ❤

Hi❤ I'm a very young kid who has felt the need to get closer to God, I listen to the Bible in the morning and in the night I pray every night, I used to say 5 prayers at night and I did that for months but I realised that I wasn't speaking with my heart I have stopped promoting arguments and drama in group chats etc. Yet I still feel quite distant from God I feel like he isn't answering me, so if I am frozen or a fire my answer would be that I am neither, I am in the process of making a fire, I'm walking away from evil slowly but I feel like I am not walking fast enough I feel like I should be running towards God so I ask you to help me ignite my fire to help me to run towards God and to help me to everlasting life. God bless 🙏❤
Praise God for you! As someone who regularly volunteers in kids ministry, I have some advice for you. First: you don't need to be "on fire for God." God wants cold, refreshing Christians too. I think the main difference is that hot Christians are skilled in creating new churches and new opportunities, "spreading the fire" if you will, while cold Christians are skilled in keeping churches alive and serving God's people, "refreshing" their spirits. I would consider myself a cold Christian, because like I said, my skills are more suitable for serving the established church, specifically the kids. Second: no matter how slow your progress, it is still progress, and God is still very happy with it. There is no such thing as a perfect Christian. Just keep growing closer to God. Learn at your own pace. Third: in your prayer life, I would say that any prayer is meaningful if it comes from your heart. Imagine if you went to talk to your parents but you used a script, and that's basically how God feels about scripted prayers. I speak to God as often as I have something I want to speak about. Which, I'll admit, should be a lot more often, but I'm working on that. Prayer doesn't have to always look like prayer either. The reason we close our eyes, bow our heads and fold our hands while we pray is so we can eliminate distractions, but sometimes you want to pray while you're in the middle of something else. And that's great! You can pray while you are working in school. You can pray while you are on the bus or in the car. You can pray while you're playing with your friends. You can pray anytime, about anything. Remember that the God who created you *wants* to hear you. He wants to listen to you. Jesus loves you more than any human, including your parents, could ever love you.
@@Joe-rz3fd yo bro just wanted 2 say that I didn't really make it known to you just how much Ur message helped me, taking the time out of your day just to make my life better is actually fantastic so here's how I'm going now, reading the bible first thing in the morning and before I go to bed then bible study in between those times, I've helped a friend get closer to God and I swear a lot less, as you said that slow progress eventually got me to where I am now and I'm still growing closer by the day. I came to this video thinking I wasn't lukewarm. I read a couple of verses in the bible a day, I pray about 4 times a day, (Either to bless my food or to talk to God), And i've been wondering if it was signs of being Lukewarm. But when I saw this video and how you mentioned my affecting of other people, I really started to wonder. Thank you for this video man, it always helps and puts a smile on my face. I pray that we can all overcome Lukewarmness, and we can truly Walk with God, no matter the hardships. In Jesus Mighty name I pray, Amen. 🙏🏼✝️😁😊😇
I feel like I have just started to Understand What Jesus' Death means for me about a year ago. Although I still sin, instead of forgetting God's name I go straight to him for forgiveness. Although I do not do as much as I should as a Christian, I am taking it one step at a time and still try to remember God first above all else.
Small steps forward, is better than standing still or going backwards. As long as you keep going forward. Even if you fall, fall forward. Gal 5:16 says if you fulfill the desires of the spirit you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. YOU GOT THIS!!! ❤
The Bible says no one but the Father is without sin. By definition that means that we are all sinners. It doesn't say Christians do not sin. It says be perfect like your father is but again also says we are all sinners who fall short. I believe that God makes us new with a mind that is set with conviction to do the right thing. To make amends. To resist sin. When we want to stop sinning it's important to remember that he looks at our fight against it and how much we push to rid ourselves of it knowing it's not part of who we are meant to be.
i recently overcame being very lukeewarm, i spent all my time with my fiance and spent almost no time with God. i got a concussion and have been home for 3 weeks and have been on fire for God im so proud

You uploaded this at just the right time for me. I have been lounging around doing nothing for the past few weeks now, and I have had this feeling that I need to get closer to God, but I never did anything about it. I have been struggling with being committed to God ever since I found Christ last year, and this advice is great. I am going to pray, read my Bible (that I haven't opened for way too long), and contact my church to find out how to get baptized now. Thank you for posting this!
“Being lukewarm is not a feeling, but a choice you are making.” Wow that helped me. I realized from this video that Jesus wasn’t saying this to punish His believers but prepare them and correct them because the times that those churches reflected also reflect this time now. We are in the Last Days of the Last Days or End Times, and God is preparing His believers to be a witness and carry the poured out power that the Spirit has given us! This video was so awesome and I see the gift of teaching shine and absolutely shine from you. God bless you and thank you for your Holy Spirit fired teaching.

This is not true friend...this people dont know what they talking about...They sell you religion, because they have no other explanation... But Ill tell you this. Big majority of teachings ,like this one is pointed to those that want to be shepherds...It has nothing to do with common believer. As you see,He say they think they are rich. Rich in Gods eyes is not money rich. But wisdom, knowledge. So they think they have figure it all out,and they know all. Than He is going to tell them to buy from Him knowledge, wisdom so that they may be clothed..Because there is no other way John 6 : 45 John 10 : 1 say who does not go thought the door is no Shepard, but thief and robber. So all those ``scholars``popes, pastors included..If you learn from man,you know nothing except what they indoctrinate you with.. Mat 7:8 “For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Opened what ? Mat 7:13 “Enter by the narrow gate/door Rev 3:19 “As many as I love, I rebuke/correct and chasten/teach. Rev 4:1 After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven.
I love the fact that everyone is so honest about there walk and that we can communicate like this as the church from everywere in the world its such a blessing ❤
Young man, I say that with all due respect because I am older than you, I thank God for your obedience to Him through the work you do on this channel!!! May God continue to bless you as you bless others through your obedience to Him💜💜💜
How do you spread the Word of God to the unsaved? How do you start that conversation? I want to be on fire for God, but I feel like I keep falling short.
Me personally, I start small by asking how somebody feels about God. That's where I gradually build it from small talk, and try to delve deeper by asking about faith and if they know the Bible. I'll even throw in a few Bible verses if I can. I've always found that starting off with "Devote your life to Jesus" or something was far too rushed and pushy. Just remember that, at the very least, you should give them some insight about Jesus. But don't force them into it by suddenly telling them to serve Jesus, for it's ultimately God's job to reveal Himself to them, and it's up to the person to accept it.
Pray and ask God to share the gospel to people at the right time, and for wisdom to share it in the right way :) And that will help you to know at that time, if you need to share the gospel to a certain person/group. God can guide you to share it awesomely. Some practical tips: 1) HOW TO START: Ask if that person has a faith. He/she can talk about it if he/she has it. Then you can naturally bring up about your faith as well. When you discuss your faith, try to share the gospel *as soon as possible* so she/he can receive it. If he/she asks about other parts of the Bible, we can politely ask to explain that following the sharing of the gospel. 2) HOW TO SHARE: Remember this: GOD - MAN - CHRIST - RESPONSE. First, GOD: Share about who God is (He is a Holy God, and He created all things, including Man, plants, animals, the universe! He wished to have a loving relationship with us. ) Second, Man (The first humans God created are called Adam and Eve. God gave them everything they needed and loved them deeply. He enjoyed coming to the garden to spend time with them and even gave them dominion over all the animals. But there was an important rule God gave: “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.” However, Adam and Eve disobeyed God, and this disobedience is called sin. They wanted to be Lord over God, their creator! And the punishment for sin is the curse of sin - spiritual death - guilt, shame, fear, sorrow, misery from sin and eternal suffering in hell) Third, CHRIST (But God is so merciful! So merciful that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. He gave His only Son called Jesus to be born in this world, and He lived the righteous life and deserved no death. But Jesus wanted to pay for our sins, so He died in our place, carrying all our sin and paying our punishment in full. The great news is that He also overcame all death and sin! ) Fourth, RESPONSE: (However, it's important to note there are only two responses we can take to this: acceptance or rejection. If we accept this and want to turn back from our sins, and believe that Jesus has paid for our sins and overcame all sin and death, we gain the forgiveness of sins in His sacrifice and can have everlasting life with Him! If we reject Him, then we have to be the sacrifice for our sins and suffer eternally in hell. I urge you to consider this choice carefully, and in love for you I share this, in hopes you may be saved. God loves you, brother/sister! 😁) Hope this helps! There's more you can learn about the ways to share the gospel online. GOD - MAN - CHRIST - RESPONSE is just one of them! God bless you
Then you may be a cold Christian. Cold Christians like myself find it easier and more fulfilling to nurture the pre-existing church than to start new ones. Cold Christians love to give back, to serve in various ministries, to be the assistant. Cold Christians are the ones "giving a cup of cold water to these little ones." Cold Christians need hot Christians to spread the fire of God and plant the churches, but hot Christians need cold Christians to refresh them and help them avoid burnout.
Jesus is coming soon. Repent of your sins. Jesus is the only way. Have a relationship with God. He loves you. We are in the last days. I'm here for prayers. God bless.
@@BiblestudywithMelissa no offense but nobody knows when he is coming back Jesus himself says he does not know when but the father does and the his return is certain and he will come back like a thief in the night. So how can you say he is coming back soon when even Jesus himself does not know. Plus we are not living in the ends times people have been saying this for decades. Things like rumors of wars have been happening for a long time . I do agree with needing to repeat that is important
We are not in the last days and nobody knows when he is coming back but that his return is certain people’s have been saying he is coming’s back soon for decades we won’t know so don’t say he is coming back soon like you know when we don’t .
Hello, as someone who struggles with these obsessive thoughts, I would like to offer you some encouragement in helping ease the fear that come from these thoughts. If there's one thing I wish I knew when I first experienced these thoughts, it's that God is gracious and understanding. These thoughts make us believe that God is angry at us for having them, which I believe is far from the truth. We dont try to have these thoughts on purpose, and they just pop in at random. The Bible tells us that Jesus took on the form of a human, and experienced all the troubles that you and I face. Take heart in that fact, because it shows that God is merciful and loving. In fact, I'd encourage you read the Book of Hebrews. It might be confusing, but it shows the mercy and grace of God towards us. Finally, Paul talks about something he refers to as "A thorn in the flesh", which he describes as a "Messenger of satan to torment me" (2 Corinthians 12:7). Paul sought the Lord's help to overcome this, but God didn't take it away. Instead, God told Paul "My Grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness". Take heart my friend! God understands our struggle with these thoughts, but he is merciful to complete the good work he's started in us! He loves you, and I encourage you to boldly come to God in prayer, because of Jesus. Tell him all your needs, and trust him and his grace. Jesus loves you! "1 Peter 5:7: "Cast all your care upon him, because he cares for you"
I think I’ve been lukewarm for a long time and I just was too young to even care, so now that I’ve realized it, it is difficult to battle against the enemy. I feel like before I became more closer to God it was easier for the enemy to manipulate me. Now that I’m closer to God he is having to fight. Last night I committed the sin that I’ve tried to break free from the longest. It’s like my flesh is messing up my spiritual growth. I know that we’re not perfect, but to be lukewarm is not a good feeling.
I feel this so much, im young, like still in my teens but God opened my eyes one day, and i havent turned back but its been hard, i feel bad when i sin but sometimes i cant help it but i know i can do all through God who gives me strength
The lord gave you his spirit don’t be afraid, repent and confess your sin he will forgive you. Pray so the lord keeps working on you, don’t forget you are a new creature in Christ follow him.
@@GemonteMitchell-up5wgdon’t worry there always people around you that love you and want to pray for you and your relationship to God. Don’t forget we’re heavenly Family❤️
This is one of your best uploads. Sometimes it can sting a bit to be convicted by the Holy Spirit, but as you stated, this is what the Lord will do with someone he loves. I love also that you not only address the issue, but give multiple ways to correct yourself and get back on track. Your channel is a blessing, work and school have given me excuses to neglect my walk with Christ and this video helped me wake up out of my apathy. It will always be a challenge to not let the business of life get in the way of our relationship with Jesus but I’m encouraged to have RUclipsrs like you here the share the gospel
I doubt anyone will see this but something that always helps me in this situation is expectation. Not convincing myself I need to clean up my act for God to still love me OR convincing myself that IF I clean up my act he’ll come back to me. Remembering that He never left, and moving forward is the most important step. I can’t really explain it, but not expecting some kind of Damascus Road experience when my faith suddenly returns and the fire comes back to my life. Move forward as better. Live every day a little more grateful and positive and kind and loving, and be still and know that He is God. And then faith WILL come. The discipline will come. Because you trust him and know it will. Sorry that was MAJORLY convoluted but it’s the things I’m going through right now. Love yall ❤
I thank my Father in heaven that I found your channel. One of the questions I often ask myself is “Do I love Jesus? Is He my top priority in my life?”, and sadly, my answer often came to “No”. Honestly, even though I feel that God has led me through a lot of highs and lows, I always felt like exactly what you said, that I haven’t really done anything with my faith. It terrified me, but I’ve learned that part of that reason was because I was living in sin. I just recently had to let go of one of my old favorites because I never felt good reading it, even though it was still fun to me. It’s still hard letting go, so pray for me that I’ll be able to overcome my fleshly desires. Thanks to this video, I realize that I am more zealous for God than I gave myself credit for! I still have a lot to learn and adapt to, but just caring about what God wants for me is a good first step! I pray that whatever it is God wants me to do with my faith, that he’ll bring me to make it happen! God bless you and your crew, Impact, and good luck in Japan!❤❤❤
Try different things with your faith then! If your skills are more in evangelizing, planting new churches, creating new believers, etc. then you are a hot Christian. If your skills are more in giving, serving the church, assisting the church leaders, reassuring others in their faith, etc. then you are a cold Christian. Cold Christians need hot Christians to "spread the fire" of God by creating new opportunities, and hot Christians need cold Christians to help them avoid "burnout" by serving and refreshing the body of Christ.
I was literally just thinking that I wanted a good explanation of this passage since it gets interpreted differently by many people. Your channel is such a blessing!
Yes, Amen! Hallelujah! May Absolutely Everybody be filled with The Holy Spirit, and May all Glory and Honour be to Beloved LORD, Dad Jesus, God Almighty! 😁🩶💯🙏😇
I love how the endings almost always ends in and remember "Jesus loves you".. ❤️ I look forward to that at the end of the videos 😊 These videos are so refreshing and heartwarming.
Thank you for this, this was so timely. I was convicted a few days ago how my faith hasn't been as active as I wanted it to be and this video helped me realize what being lukewarm is like. It hurt being convicted of this, but God disciplines those He loves and I'm now making efforts to seriously grow in my faith. God bless!
Thank you for this man! I feel whenever I distract myself or choose to not focus on God and do what I desire, I lose a bit of that fire for him. And then go into a spiral of doubt and disappointment to where it’s restricting, but the second I stop and choose anything revolving around God whether it be this, worship him, go to church or talk with my family it goes away and I remember that God still loves me and understands my every intention! He’s so good to where I don’t give him enough credit!!!
Hey yall Im writing a song what you think of the lyrics so far? Verse 1: I just wanna walk in Your light, See the world through Your eyes, Show the love that You show. Chorus: I just wanna be like You, In everything I do, I wanna live like You, Jesus, Teach me to love, forgive, And to treat others like you do Verse 2: Chorus: I just wanna be like You, In everything I do, I wanna live like You, Jesus Bridge: Your grace is enough, Your love is unending, I wanna reflect Your light, Chorus: I just wanna be like You, In everything I do, I wanna live like You, Jesus, Outro: I just wanna be like You, In all I say and do, Lord, make me more like You, , any ideas or comments
You're doing well in using your gifting for the Lord. Write more songs and sing them when you worship Him. Use the songs to teach scripture as well, just like He commanded: Colossians 3:16 [16]Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.
@@akinoluolusina thank you man, that sure means alot, im 15 turning 16 this year and my grandpa told me exactly what you said, preach the gospel through psalms and hymns

What have you tried? Some people are great at evangelizing, creating new connections, planting new churches, "spreading the fire of God." These are the hot Christians. Other people are great at nurturing the church, serving in ways that might go underappreciated, giving generously, encouraging others in their faith, "refreshing" others and helping them avoid "burnout". These are the cold Christians. I would say, try some of each of these. See what type of work suits you the best.
Ive been a “Christian” all my life i starterd going to church with my cousinback in 2019-mid2020 it closed for obvious reasons i havent gone back to church im trying to become closer to god and your helping me alot i really love your channel keep up the good work
I am so thankful for God. He inspired you and your team to make this video. It made me become a Christian who is on fire for God. I would see myself more as the cool refreshing encouraging water. I encourage my fellow Christian’s to be more open about their faith. Amen and I thank you and God. I love you.
I am a lukewarm and I really need to focus on my spiritual needs more I have really realized that if I keep on being lukewarm things get bad for me so thank you for this video it now helps me with what I need to do every single day
Just want to point out that you have an alternative to being on fire, and that is being ice cold. The video talks a lot about being a hot Christian, being "on fire for God." But that's not the only type of Christian that God wants. A cold Christian, one who is "refreshing," is one who serves the churches created by the hot Christians. Cold Christians include, but are not limited to: - the worship team and the sound person - the kitchen staff - the janitor - the security team - the kids ministry team - the elders - the Bible study leaders and assistants - that person with an infectious love for Jesus and for learning about Him - that friend who always asks how you're doing and how they can pray for you Hot Christians are the other end of the spectrum. Hot Christians include, but are not limited to: - the pastor - any missionaries your church supports - the person who's out on the street, evangelizing strangers Hot Christians are good at "spreading the fire of God," while cold Christians are good at "soothing" others and helping them avoid "burnout."
Lecrae said the same thing too about the hot or cold water situation! Cold may not always be bad. Cold water is good for drinking while warm water is good for healing and other things. Lukewarm water is unhealthy to drink and worthless. Lecrae’s point was to be something OF USE, to be USEFUL for God, rather than something that’s worthless and unhelpful.
dude i feel as a luke warm christian and i prayed in the morning asking for a sign and i saw this video so i was just like god and jesus is truly with me, i cant wait to get a bible and start going to church
This was so beautiful and instead of the condemnation that I was feeling about being lukewarm, I am now convicted I’m going to go study the word of God. God knows how to get our attention I love Jesus and how he lovingly corrects.
❤ “I want to share how God saved my life and transformed me. In my darkest moments, when illness and pain consumed me, I offered myself to Him as His servant, and He pulled me back from the brink of death. I’ve learned that keeping my promises to God and repenting daily not only heals my soul but keeps me physically alive and well. His Spirit brings vitality where medicine and logic couldn’t explain. When I was at my lowest-sitting in a chair all day, drained of life, with no color in my cheeks-I turned to His Word and soaked in worship day and night. That journey eventually led me to baptism, and I can testify that His Word truly healed my body and spirit. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and His love changes everything.”
Don't think you HAVE to be an "on fire Christian" though. God needs "ice cold Christians" too. I think the main difference is that a hot Christian is good at spreading the Gospel, planting new churches, "spreading the fire of God." While a cold Christian is good at nurturing the believers, making the church a more welcoming place, serving the body of Christ, giving generously, "refreshing" others in their faith, helping the hot Christians avoid "burning out." If your desire is to be with on fire Christians in order to encourage them, then you may be an ice cold Christian.
I’ve been a Christian ever since I was a baby. Sometimes I find myself on fire for God. In other areas I find myself lukewarm. I try to spread the gospel but it can be hard when most people in your school are atheist or another religion. My friends aren’t Christian but I do try to spread the word of God when I can!. I also find myself lukewarm in areas like reading the bible and going to church. We used to go to church but it became a hassle to do in the mornings (me and my brother were quite young.) I’ve decided I would like to go to church again :) ❤. May God bless all of you. Let Jesus into your life, he’s waiting for you when the time is right❤❤
thank you so much you guys help me with my bible study a lot and I learn most on your videos especially the references with the verses, explaining them makes it so much easier to understand! :)
Hey quick question if I listen to some music that isn't Gospel music but that doesn't have curses to it does it still count as seculr music ????????????? The instrumental doesn't sound bad or Demonic neither sounds normal in my opinion please someone please answer me.
Thank you very much, I know the things to do now if I become lukewarm ever at some point, I love The Lord and Jesus Christ with all my being, and look to serve them for the rest of my existence. Jesus is king!!! AMEN!!!✝️❤️❤️❤️
I was lukewarm when I was younger but then I got cold. I went away from God and saw the darkness of the world. I realized how depending I am to him and I need him in my life every day.
This actually helps I'm a lukewarm person so now I understand what I have to do , I need to be a hot Christian and I think this was sent to me to show me that I must be better
You may be a cold Christian then. Try serving your church and see if you find that fulfilling. Cold Christians love to take opportunities that strengthen the body of Christ, like giving generously to the offering, leading Bible studies, assisting church leaders, even planning outings so as to turn your church group into a group of friends. A cold Christian's work goes less noticed, but it is just as important.
Honestly I’m kinda lukewarm Christian my old church I went to was going completely down hill defending the wrong people and such it just had a lot of behind the scenes drama going on but I’m going to a baptist church on Sunday and for Wednesday church im visiting a Pentecostal church so that I can have a refresher then my old church that was a mess so thank goodness for that decision
There's this younger boy at my school who Swears and stirs drama, I think Gods calling me to guide him to be a become a good young man, I think as a leader at my school, one guy to another and a small but positive relationship, I can convert him, Ooh I'm gonna pray for him so good
I remember at one point in time I would be considered lukewarm, my spiritual needs were not being satisfied in the church I went to, and I honestly felt very lost in all of this. Through my brother's ex-girlfriend, I had my eyes opened to the stance that Catholics are doing, and I left that church behind. I remember I had once dreamt of hearing someone telling me about the verses in Revolution regarding lukewarm believers. When I read this passage, it opened my eyes to my stance on my faith. I decided to read the Bible in full for the entirety of 2023 as a New Year's resolution and finished it in one year. My spiritual growth took place during that year where I read God's laws and statutes, what was deemed holy and what was deemed a sin, and I feel my stance is on fire as a believer. I'm still reading the Bible as a way to continue my spiritual growth, after doing it the first time, I can't see myself not reading the Bible. There are things I understand now that this world is living in rebellion, especially during last month's "pride month," but I'm calling out the sin as it should be called out, not celebrating it or anything like what has been going on.
Christ said to the Church of Laodicea in Revelations that they were being lukewarm. Little story: the water that came to the near cities was either hot or cold, so useful in both cases (hot for boiling food, cold for drinking). The water that came to Laodicea was lukewarm, cause it was really distant from water sources. So Jesus is basically telling to the Church of Laodicea that they were not being useful to the plan of the Lord. He would have spat em out, meaning He would declare them a church no more. Look how we are talking about a group here, a church, and NOT individuals. Cause remember, we cannot lose our salvation! (Romans 4:4-5. John 10:28. John 6:39. 2 Timothy 2:13)❤✝️ God bless
Amen brother. So many like to use this passage as proof that you can lose your salvation. But what does it go on to say? " Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.". The consequence was punishment, not loss of salvation.
I don't feel conviction from this, nor do I feel cold. I been talking to God daily and doing devotional everyday. The only problem I have is reading (let alone studying) the Bible because I have a learning disability and it is so hard to read and remember what I read. I try so hard and so I kind of got discouraged and so been avoiding reading the Bible. Been talking to God about this and having faith He will help me understand the Bible by His spirit.
Oh hey! Me too! I’m 26, not that age matters here but I too have a learning disability. Was never much focused and had a hard time in school specifically around math and sciences. It was more of an IEP but I guess that counts for having a learning disability. I don’t feel convicted from this but I also noticed that there are good tools here for me to use to further grow and improve my spiritual self. I’ve recently come back to the Lord a couple months ago after decades of being lukewarm so I feel like I definitely know what lukewarm is. But yes in agreement with the Holy Spirit being the teacher. Couldn’t ask for a better one.
@@chloesept17 I'm 27 years old. I just doubt most of the time if I have holy spirit because I rarely feel conviction and holy spirit doesn't talk to me like He used to. 😭 I also haven't been hearing from God in awhile. I don't know what to do.
@@DevotionalDoodles what have you been doing to grow closer to God? I can tell a story that had happened to me at work. I was really under a lot of self doubt and fear and worry about having done something wrong or offensive to God or if I had grieved the Holy Spirit. But as I was sitting at a table on a break. I saw these two trash cans and the windows reflective glass and while the cans had read "trash." which allied to how I was feeling, I noticed that the windows reflected the word "heart." (due to the weird font the cans had) and I realized, by that little message God left for me was that even though I feel like trash and am burdened by so much garbage and when I felt bad about something, God knows my heart. He knows my intentions behind every action. It does suck, and it's hard and it will always be hard. But through suffering, there is knowing that that suffering won't last forever. I have been focused on my spiritual growth. Surrounding myself with friends of the same faith who are on fire for God, taking prayer walks and just talking to God in my head or writing letters to Him about my day and dating them so I can go back to see just how far I've gotten. When you feel distant to God, it's because Satan is putting distraction after distraction after distraction onto your path. Maybe, what you need, is to start one of these habits whether it's reading the bible daily, writing a letter or walking, or finding friends who are on fire for God to help you grow. It's all in His power. And, perhaps this is a spiritual attack you are facing. Maybe you are in a season that God has you in and the devil is terrified of it because he knows that you will become something stronger. Just like how it is with learning how to ride a bike. It's scary, we don't know how it works yet, and we lose our balance and fall, scraping our knees and then we don't want to do it anymore because it hurts and it's frustrating. But, God is our father. If we allow Him, he will run to us, pick us up and clean our wounds and encourage us to try again. It's new. It's scary, there are no training wheels. But when we fall, we just get right back up again because we have that mercy. I recommend reading Romans 7 and Psalm 23.
You may find, like I did, that God has a different "Spiritual love language" for you. If you are passionate about evangelism, about planting churches, about talking to nonbelievers and new believers, about "spreading the fire of God," then I would call you a hot Christian. But if you are passionate about serving the body of Christ, about giving generously, about loving the believers, about "refreshing" others and helping them avoid "burnout," then I'd say you are a cold Christian. My advice to you is to reach out to the leaders at your church. Find out what kind of opportunities they have. Who knows? I mean, five years ago I would never have pegged myself as a children's ministry helper. But I've since found myself excited to do it. If you keep trying different opportunities, you'll eventually find one that sticks.
Sorry if this is unhelpful - but there are many bible apps that will read the bible out loud for you, if that is an easier way of taking in information for you.
What I get from the lukewarm meaning is God wants us to make up or mind. To not feel one way and then the next moment you feel another way. Being focused on God instead of wondering in your mind aimlessly.
So then I'm lukewarm..? When I started to walk in God I changed a lot and actually tried to tell my testimony and show love to ppl around me, I know that's good bc it's how I started to follow Jesus and leave abomination but, I'm still not ready to preach, I try telling my testimony of God's work in me but I'm just.. Not ready to preach yet, I'm trying to help a Muslim friend I got to see how Jesus actually is, same with my brother when my mother brings godly theme up, etc, I just dunno yet, but if I'm lukewarm then I gotta try harder to please God.
preaching isnt for me too, i tried sharing with my mom and my words gets jumbled everytime, its frustrating... now i found a way i can share God's words and its that every time i post my artworks online i always attach scriptures...
What I am trying to do is just live like Jesus without telling them just yet why I am how I am so that they can figure out for themselves why I’m this way or trying to be like Jesus because if you make a mistake that person might see you as fake Christian.
Weather we think we are luke warm or on fire the truth is we could always use more time in prayer and in good works to glorfy God. Even if you feel like youre giving all of yourself, give more. Study more, pray more. Just my opinions though.
Amen brother! I will add that some people like me are neither on fire nor lukewarm, but ice cold. Cold Christians are the givers, the volunteers, the encouragers, the servants. Cold Christians may not be good at evangelism, but we are good at service. We're not Paul, who planted the church; we are Apollos, who watered it. We're not the 12 disciples, who focused on evangelism; we are the 7 servants, who were appointed to wait on people. We're the ones who give cups of cold water to little ones.
It might be through symbols in a dream or through something a person says but in my experience it isn’t always “Hey, God told me to tell you this “ it’s more of like a riddle and mystery that you eventually pick up on
@@get2it7dreams are the most delusionnal thing ever. I dreamed last night about Mar Mari Emmanuel. The reason why I know this is all bs is because he still had his two eyes 😂
What have you tried? You might be good at planting new churches, at evangelizing strangers, at creating new opportunities, at "spreading the fire of God." That would make you a hot Christian. Or, you might be good at nurturing believers, at giving generously, at serving the church, at encouraging and "refreshing" others so as to help them avoid "burning out." That would make you a cold Christian. Either way, if you try different opportunities, some of them will stick, and you'll be able to hear God more clearly when you do those things.
I always worried about whether I was a lukewarm Christian, but never knew exactly what it meant. I always think about God and what he would think about me. I try to go to church but sometimes fail to. I love God and have complete faith in Him.
The only thing that matters, is accepting the Lord Jesus Christ. Better to be hot, warm or cold and believe, than not accepting the gospel. Jesus died for all sins. We have eternal life. Amen
I have this feeling, that god is not with me. And I have a feeling that, I'm not happy to go to church anymore and do cell group, I can't feel my Holy Spirit. Am I a Luke warm? I Don't want to be a Luke warm 😢
God is always with you read this verse Psalms 16:8 NLT - I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. The devil will continue to try to make you think god is not with you, don’t listen to the lies of the devil. My friend god is always with you, just trust him meaning to give everything to him and not worry . Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5). God is working and has a plan for you life so trust him. Repent, trust Jesus, follow his word, don’t listen to the lies of the devil, follow the word, flee from the devil and draw near to god. Be happy to go to church and worship god truly from the heart and watch your life change. Jesus loves you man God bless❤
I had the same feeling brother, let me say this: God is with you all the time like the ppl already said. Your temperature might change for time for time, but lukewarm is not longing for Jesus no more. Long for that relationship keep that conversation alive, Cause that’s what he wants. God loves you so much he won’t leave you alone. All my life he was with me and there were a lot of times where I tried ho get away from him. But NO he didn’t let go of me cause he knew he loves me and that I love him. Every battle I face is just to get me closer to him, to understand his grace and love is all we need. You’re blessed in the name of Jesus Christ. Don’t let your prayers sink on the floor, raise ‚em up and praise the almighty lord. I speak life and prosperity into your life. You will not fail cause you have Jesus and God by your side
I find it fascinating that people say that god is with them everywhere and everytime. So much so that everything that is remotely interesting would immediately be assimilated with him. I dunno who are the geniuses who made the bible, but they sure are machiavellians
I always watch these “are you a lukewarm Christian?” Vids thinking I am. But then I come to the realization that I am literally on FIRE for God! I could not be more relieved! I pray that everyone who is here turns to become an on fire child of God! ❤❤ Jesus loves you!

If you go to church and Christians accept you, then you know you're lukewarm.
@@TheFightingSheep may I ask u to expand on what you mean by that
@@IdKwhatimdoing-t8x The church has turned from following the Lord. Christians resist the Holy Spirit and follow men and men's doctrines. They can't take the truth and hate the brethren. You can't have fellowship in a Babylon church building, and have fellowship with Jesus. They're enemies of God.

Instead of going into more busyness, you could spend those quiet moments with the Lord. It's very easy to create 1000 tasks to do for God, whereas spending moments in silence not to ask anything and just be in his presence, this too can renew your spirit.

@@julie4508 we're on the same situation, let's pray for each other, God bless us all!!
Etc
If your COLD , then your under LAW and then the Holy Spirit can convict you and bring you to Chris (grace through faith)
Galatians 3:23-25 KJV
But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. [24] Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. [25] But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
If your HOT then your under Grace and depending totally on the “finished “work of Jesus !
Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Romans 6:14 KJV
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Paul was a hot Christian in 1 Corinthians when he "planted the seed," and Apollos was a cold Christian when he "watered it."
The 12 disciples were hot Christians in early Acts when they focused on spreading the Word of God, and the 7 servants they appointed were cold Christians when they focused on giving to the poor.
Romans 4:5 KJV
But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
Faith is only counted as righteousness if you “worketh not” ie 0% work , 100% faith !
If you add works to faith it voids the faith !
Romans 11:6 KJV
And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace.
But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
One voids the other !
This is the work of God
John 6:28-29 KJV
Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works (plural) of God? [29] Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work (singular)of God, that ye believe (Faith) on him (Jesus) whom he hath sent.
Remember, it’s the “many” who say “we did all these WORKS in thy name” but Jesus NEVER knew them !
Matthew 7:21-23 KJV
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the WILL of my Father which is in heaven.
John 6:40 KJV
And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him(FAITH) , may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Pray.

What u do is to pray then have a Bibke study:reading God's word and The Lords prayer and sometimes the rosary and more prayers. It is really important to develop that Christian life and put it forward in your daily life. I'm going to pray for you tonight and you remember to pray to!❤️
Please read Luke 18:9-14. This passage will help you
I've drifted into being lukewarm of late after being saved in January. Praise be to Christ for calling me back to passion for the Lord. Amen. ❤
14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." Although the journey as a Christian is at times difficult, through God's strength and the power of Holy Spirit we are lead back onto the right path and can continue to preach the good news of Jesus!
i'm also going through a period of lukewarm Christianity, and it scares me, but i find peace in these two sayings:
God made a way out before, and He'll do it again.
if God led you to it, He's gonna lead you through it and bring you out.
@@drunkydrunk2351 have you sought and asked God to fill you with his holy spirit? He will teach, lead and empower you to share boldly. Look at Simon Peter before and AFTER he received the HS in the book of Acts. God can do the same with you.

I pray that I am not luke warm. I pray to have a strong relationship with Jesus && be on fire for him.

Psalm 34:4 says, "I sought the LORD, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears".

@@Joe-rz3fd Thanks so much for that, very eye opening ♥️

I came to this video thinking I wasn't lukewarm. I read a couple of verses in the bible a day, I pray about 4 times a day, (Either to bless my food or to talk to God), And i've been wondering if it was signs of being Lukewarm. But when I saw this video and how you mentioned my affecting of other people, I really started to wonder. Thank you for this video man, it always helps and puts a smile on my face.
Amen!!!!! You are on the right track!!!! Stay anchored in the Cross of Christ 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I was just wondering if I was Lukewarm, then this video appeared...

Some practical tips:
1) HOW TO START: Ask if that person has a faith.
Hope this helps!
Please pray. Stuck in doubt and obsessive thoughts

As a lukewarm Christian this really helped me out and my god bless you I shall now turn to god❤
God has felt kinda distant lately. This video was what I desperately needed to hear to help me get back on track, God bless you.

He’s so good to where I don’t give him enough credit!!!
please, dont ever stop making these videos. you are saving us :(
Thank you for this! I am lukewarm. I was so on fire last year, and I have no clue what happened.

See the world through Your eyes,
Show the love that You show.

I just wanna be like You,
In everything I do,
I wanna live like You, Jesus,
Teach me to love, forgive,
And to treat others like you do
Verse 2:

I just wanna be like You,
In everything I do,
I wanna live like You, Jesus
Bridge:
Your grace is enough,
Your love is unending,

You're doing well in using your gifting for the Lord. Write more songs and sing them when you worship Him. Use the songs to teach scripture as well, just like He commanded:
Colossians 3:16

What have you tried?
Some people are great at evangelizing, creating new connections, planting new churches, "spreading the fire of God." These are the hot Christians.
Other people are great at nurturing the church, serving in ways that might go underappreciated, giving generously, encouraging others in their faith, "refreshing" others and helping them avoid "burnout". These are the cold Christians.
I would say, try some of each of these. See what type of work suits you the best.

Cold Christians include, but are not limited to:
- the worship team and the sound person
- the kitchen staff
- the janitor
- the security team
- the kids ministry team
- the elders
- the Bible study leaders and assistants
- that person with an infectious love for Jesus and for learning about Him
- that friend who always asks how you're doing and how they can pray for you
Hot Christians are the other end of the spectrum. Hot Christians include, but are not limited to:
- the pastor
- any missionaries your church supports
- the person who's out on the street, evangelizing strangers
Hot Christians are good at "spreading the fire of God," while cold Christians are good at "soothing" others and helping them avoid "burnout."
Thank u for the information ❤
This is such a blessing! I was feeling defeated and left feeling inspired and thankful for God's love and continued grace ❤

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and His love changes everything.”
thank You God for Your FREE gift of salvation. please help us not to be lukewarm and help us to be totally on fire for you.

Thank you for this video
It was amazing and one thing I've always wanted is to be with on fire Christians, that would be a blessing ❤️
Don't think you HAVE to be an "on fire Christian" though. God needs "ice cold Christians" too.
I think the main difference is that a hot Christian is good at spreading the Gospel, planting new churches, "spreading the fire of God." While a cold Christian is good at nurturing the believers, making the church a more welcoming place, serving the body of Christ, giving generously, "refreshing" others in their faith, helping the hot Christians avoid "burning out."
If your desire is to be with on fire Christians in order to encourage them, then you may be an ice cold Christian.

We used to go to church but it became a hassle to do in the mornings (me and my brother were quite young.) I was lukewarm when I was younger but then I got cold.

Jesus is the LORD I Love You Holy Spirit I Love You Father I Love You Jesus Jesus is the LORD
I pray for you, God bless you ✝️💖

John 10:28. John 6:39. 2 Timothy 2:13)❤✝️
God bless

Oh sure.
Just 'do more.'

I wish I knew how to actually hear God… I just never do, even when I try
He talks in mysterious ways. Through dreams and visions and sometimes it’s not like how a person communicates face to face and direct.
It might be through symbols in a dream or through something a person says but in my experience it isn’t always “Hey, God told me to tell you this “ it’s more of like a riddle and mystery that you eventually pick up on
It might be through a song in the radio . You will know though when He does because it might seem like a coincidence at first

Either way, if you try different opportunities, some of them will stick, and you'll be able to hear God more clearly when you do those things.
Faith without works is dead, amen! ❤️
Do you have any friends you used to go to church/bible groups with? Ask one of them to be your accountability partner, I think that would help🤗
If you believe, you are saved forever. Our temperatures may change, but God will never leave us. He will never leave us ! Amen
God is always with you read this verse
Psalms 16:8 NLT - I know the LORD is always with me.
10:09 WAIT! He's not a white blob with triangle feet 😲
