You are living in complete fear about sin. Planning baptism? Ok, but are you planning to get saved? You do know that water baptism does not save right? 1 Cor 1:15-17.
Read Romans 3:23! Baptism doesn't mean you have to/will be perfect. Remember, it's not by our works that we enter heaven but by the grace of God.

To everybody reading this: last 2 nights my mother has been in CCU for failing lungs and other effects from her chemo and cancer. She’s 47 and I’m 17 with younger sibling as well. We were told she had seconds to hours to live without the ventilator last night and that she couldn’t live without it due to fluids in the lungs. I opened the book of John to a random page and it was the story of Lazarus. She suddenly started emptying her kidneys. She over the night slowly overcame and is now safely off the ventilator, many prayers and hours later but we’re on edge.
We need very specific prayers and I’m sorry to ask you guys but I really need her in my life. So please pray : her lungs continue to work, her liquids and neufrostomy empty correctly, her mind stays with us and her soul stays here to brighten this earth
It sucks to know Christ is pulling on her and I feel ashamed for pulling back, but please pull with me and beg him that her staying with us is in his will. Nothing without God. Amen and bless you all.

There is no shame in fighting for your mother how you are. Keep reading scripture, keep praying, keep believing. God's plan is always a mystery to us, and I just said a prayer for your mother, but I also prayed for you. Whichever way this tribulation leads your life, stand strong in your faith. It will all make sense in the end, and God loves you both.
My pastor gave a great sermon on baptism; had the waters set up and nobody was signed up to enter, when usually there are a handful. He said baptism is the direct response we should have when we are called by the Gospel, and in his sermon, I was absolutely called, along with 6 others!
He said baptism should be public, that our community should surround us when we declare our belief and ask to be baptized, which I agree was powerful and so full of love!
In my nice Sunday clothes, I entered the waters and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, confirming my belief that He is the son of God, that he died and rose on the 3rd day for our sins.
I turned from my lame habits and earthly addictions and started a new life in Christ, and have never been more full of joy and peace.
King Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life! Amen!

I postponed mine for so long that I regret it every single day, but I was finally baptized last month. My biggest and most painful regret ? My mom was not there to see it and my dad never cared. But at least I know that the angels arrived in heaven, they looked for my family and told them that I was finally baptized. Thank you Jesus for allowing me to experience this wonderful moment.

I felt a lot of guilt since the last Sunday. During the week, I realized Jesus truly opened my eyes, and now I see what I was wrong on, so many sins I repent in my life, I feel dirty.
Across the week I began to read the Bible by myself, I ended a quarter of Genesis so far, and I can say The Bible truly gives me joy.
And not only that, God has provided me with various means to learn from him; Bible guides, recommended prayers, and RUclips videos that also spread his word. Especially your channel. Your way to show Bible verses is amazing, it truly feels it means something, because it does.
Tomorrow I'm getting baptized, and I always knew it wasn't what I needed to go to heaven, but a step I, as a Christian and Son of God, must take.

Water baptism is needed for heaven, understand Bible says to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38), that’s the Word, don’t ignore it, and don’t ignore John 3:5. I’ll be honest, I have been wrestling with this subject for a long time. I grew up in a church that said we don’t need it, and of course that is true, but it did not encourage it. Due to that early bias I developed, my heart was hardened completely against baptism. But recently I have been seeking god more, and I feel him calling me to it. Please pray for me so I can have the courage to pursue this. Thanks.
Make sure to always put God’s teaching first. I’m not in your church, but that sounds like that pastor was cherry picking to form his own opinion on Scriptures and God is completely against that. Because it is removing and adding words to His. Jesus wants us to be baptized both spiritually by accepting Him and in water❤ Also something that John the Baptist was always telling others about.

i was baptized july 2022, the summer when i was going into 7th grade. it was truly magical, and let me tell you i could feel god’s presence. i truly do recommend it, there’s nothing like it. i honestly wish i could do it again, but the bible sadly says that baptism is ideally a one time thing, lol. i know i’m very young and i’m certainly no pastor, but i truly love him and if you do too you should get baptized! praise god! 🙌🏻🙌🏻💕

Baptism is a willing, conscious profession of one's belief in God. It results from faith, not causes faith. It's like a wedding: weddings don't cause love, they result from love. Love => wedding. Faith => baptism.
And no, you can't believe for the baby, because that's not how salvation works (Jn 3:16). You also don't get saved after being baptized; you are baptized _because_ you are saved after believing.
Babies and most children don't understand what baptism symbolizes, much less what Jesus symbolizes. And as 6:01 says, baptism is for believers.
Examples are Cornelius, the Ethiopian eunuch, the repentant jailer, and Paul. First they believed in God, _then_ they got baptized BY IMMERSION, not sprinkling.

Lord I come to you asking for your blessings as a single mom because I’m losing faith. I’m raising my children with courage, despite the challenges I face. Both of my sons are special needs and require so much from me. Lord give me strength as I struggle to pay my rent every month and as I struggle to buy groceries for my children I’m ashamed Lord help me. My mother was also a single mother when she had me. It was a very dark and hard time in her life, especially since I had autism, but she raised me with selfless, unconditional love, and she still does to this day. The LORD was with her during her time, and I have faith He’ll be there for you as well. Keep your faith in Him and I know He’ll give you everything you need. God bless you.

But I’m the New Testament Paul asked the man if he believed and only when he said yes would Paul baptize him. As a baby, you don’t have the mental capacity to believe in Jesus. The baptism should only take place once the spiritual baptism has already occurred. It is a public decree that God has saved you and already washed your sins away by his spirit. I don’t believe baby baptisms are biblical, what is the point when the person isn’t old enough to accept God? A parent can’t give salvation to their child, it is only when God calls you and you make the choice to accept Him.

Wow! I really needed this message tdy. I’ve always been against baptism because I didn’t see any real meaning in it. The church promotes it as if dipping your body in water gives you some type of super power that makes you more like Jesus. But now I understand that baptism doesn’t save you but symbolizes it and is a public declaration of your faith. Now that I understand what baptism is I’ve decided that I will get baptized as a declaration of my faith to the church and my family and to be an example for them. Thnx so much for this message!

Getting baptized this Sunday, and I'm super excited, but also nervous. I know I'm going to fall to sin again as I actively struggle with addiction (I smoke weed to help deal with chronic pain and severe anxiety that borders on paranoia), but I want a better relationship with Christ in any way I can, so that I lose the desire to sin all together. God did it for me with masterbation already, something I never saw myself stopping, and I trust that if I just keep working on getting closer to God, closer to Jesus in the way He wants me to, that He will make it happen for my addiction, too. Idunno if He'll make my pain or anxiety go away, but I trust He'll figure all that out in time. All I know is, I'm ready to die to my flesh, and be reborn in the name and image of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, to live as close to Him as possible.
I love the fact that this man draws jesus like a normal person. Instead of some overly serious guy who seams to never smile or act normally. I love that fact ♥️🙏

Years ago I held too much humilty that I wasn't enough to baptise another! Which becomes pride! Pride in humility can be equally destructive & distracting! Those 2 people then faced 1 life nightmare after another to present! Chatting with 1 of them not long ago I said I think it was a very pivotal point in all our lives! I should have just dunked them! I had called a local Pastor & co worker to get his take in how to get these 2 homeless wafes baptised, & he laughed & said just dunk them Cristi! I should have listened! But it would have been in a tiny bathtub or small kiddie pool out back! LORD showed me it was only HIS AUTHORITY needed, not mine! And the bathtub or kiddie pool would have been the same as the baptismal at the alter! HE IS THE SAME GOD, regardless of our limitations! And HE knows the heart & mind!❤ Sometimes we need to get out of our own way!

It does say “whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”
And it also says in John 3:5 “truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he can not enter the kingdom of God.” So I’m pretty sure baptism is required. Keep in mind, Jesus said these words.

I just started balling into tears. I'm still crying as i type this. 2 years ago, I didn't think I was going to survive what I did. Extreme Imsmonia. Emergency rooms Anti depressants. Suicidal thoughts. God delivered me from all of this. The point is , i was finally baptized yesterday with my friends mom, who has brain and lung cancer. She was ONE day out of the ICU very weak, and she still drove 30 minutes with us to go get baptized. Even as we left, her mom told my friend "do you think thats a good idea for her to drive all that way in her condition?" She still came . My friend who I've known for 20 years who is now my brother got permission from out pastor to do the baptism. He flew in from Florida. We weren't sure were we were going to go. We had ideas but finally ended up going to a lake somewhere far in the suburbs. There was a large gate locked, which we couldn't get my friends mom in due to her being i the wheelchair. My friend talked to the lifeguards and even accommodated my friends mom with a special wheelchair that could be rolled a little into the water. Everybody was in tears with his moms baptism and mine. Point is. God made all of this possible. Thinking about all of this from yesterday i just got overwhelmed with emotions. Im not a biblical scholar. I dont claim to be. Im just a regular guy. I like to lead my faith by examples and testimonies. Faith into works brothers and sisters. Yah long comment a lot to say thanks for reading.

The message and art is always on point! I got baptized last year and it's been such a whirlwind journey. God keeps revealing himself and showing me what I need to let go of. It's not an easy journey but it's one I don't think I could live without.
That is so relatable. I rededicated myself to Christ almost exactly one year ago, and ‘whirlwind’ is exactly right. He’s revealed my sins to me and showed me just how awful they were, and then helped me confess them both to him and to my family, which my flesh entirely hated and fought me every second of the way. Now I’m past that and the absence of the guilt and shame is incredible.
Now the Lord is leading me through getting rid of a habitual sin that I’ve had for the past 14 years, and It is an incredibly hard and battle. I can’t wait to get baptized, and also to be free from this sin!

Another thing to note down here is
Mark 16:16 NKJV
He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
The scripture doesn't say "he who doesn't believe and is not baptized will be condemned" so for salvation, faith and trust in Jesus is a must. But baptism is an outward expression tht we are dead to our sins. Yayy!

I was baptized to young. I was 5 and though I loved the Lord and Jesus and I was able to speak about why I wanted to be baptized but I dont think I had a clear understanding and was too young to make that kind of choice. I am now working on a new and better relationship with with Jesus and I would like to be baptized again now that I am in a place where I can fully consent and experince it.

God bless, don't be scared put your faith in the Lord always. Baptism is the start of your journey to sanctification and even though you might stumble, I can testify that the Lord won't forsake you as He did for me. I say that as someone who used to think I had become unworthy of His forgiveness with all the struggles I had after getting baptized.

If you want to believe and obey Jesus' command, you also have to be baptized because He told us to preach and baptize ALL NATIONS in Matthew 28 verse 19
@@imspiker3645 Matthew is an Old Testament book. Christ's earthly ministry was for Israel in the pages of Matthew. Christ said in Matthew 15 "I have only come for the lost sheep of the house of Israel." He also told his disciples in Matthew 10 "go not into the way of the gentiles." It's common sense to say gentiles were not privileged to have access to the information Christ was giving. If it wasn't for you then, it isn't for you now. Matthew 28:19 doesn't apply to us. Water baptism is a ritual for Israel during the Old Testament.

When i was born again/ Baptist, it was the best experience of my life.. and with the Holy Spirit, I have infinite peace and joy in my life, and the holey spirit gives me wisdom and understanding, and I feel strongly connected to God, so those... are my very personal experience with it, and if you're considering that's what it's is like 🙏🙏..✝️

Hi, I'm a Christian teenager. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and my Savior. I was baptized when I was a very young baby, but I was baptized in the Orthodox way, not the way you are baptized. Should I be baptized again, as you said? I don't really consider myself Orthodox. Do I need to be baptized or not, because I was baptized but according to another denomination of Christianity? 😅❤

Could you make a video about how can i soften my own heart? I have been atheist and sinned too much before and now i feel no remorse for my sins, so it would be nice if i could find a way back to God by the repentance

I have found that the best way to overcome a fear like this is to just go straight at it. Don't avoid it or let it intimidate you. Don't live in fear of your fear. It's OK to be afraid. But submitting to fear and letting it dictate what you do or not will keep you subjugated to the fear. So, in my opinion, just go charge headfirst into that public speaking, get it done, enjoy the adrenaline rush of facing the fear, and enjoy the subsequent liberation from the fear.

I was baptized as an infant and kind of a long story short, I grew up believing in Jesus, but I wasn't saved. My life started out with my parents going to church, and infact my mom was a teacher at our church's school.
However life happened, when we moved from one are to another, my parents had a falling out with new church we had attended. We tried another church, but our former pastor talked to that pastor there, and we were not welcomed.
So I spent most of my grade school life believing in Jesus, but not being born again.
It was not until 2019 that I decided to attend church on my own, that I came to Know Jesus, I was baptized at my own church as an adult.
Being baptized as a infant meant little to nothing for me, being baptized as an adult of my own volition, that meant everything.
If you are baptized as a believer, it will mean everything to you.
I prayed that for my baptism that God would drawl my family close to me as I drew closer to God. He answered my prayer, a lot of my family was there when I got baptized, a mix of Catholics, other Protestants, unsaved allke where there.
So as baptism is about professing your belief in Christ, you don't need to be baptized, however it's an important part of your faith, and it might inspire others to follow God.
So what about after your baptism. What if you start to fall back in to the temptation?

I was literally figuring out what is to be done on finishing my notes on baptism then your video gets uploaded and helps a lot on how the notes to be concluded.
I was having a struggle because I got baptized 8 years ago, and I got lost in the world and found my way back to God. I wanted to be rebaptized but Ephesians 4:5 said "One Baptism" and you said in this video that it is a one-time act. I just feel in my heart that after being out from God's word for so long, I feel like something is missing. I am filled with the Holy Spirit though, which is GREAT! So, after this video and the reading the bible verse, I dont think I should worry about rebaptism. Thank You❤
Baptism because of having faith in the grace of Jesus Christ is only required once. Even if a person walks away and decides to return, a second baptism is not taught as a requirement in scripture.

When a person is getting baptized for the first time, they should understand the sacrifice Jesus made for us, our personal need to be forgiven of sin, and that salvation comes through grace by faith in Jesus alone.
As committed followers of Jesus Christ, our focus should be on doing the things that we know and believe are pleasing to God instead of checking a box.
The Bible teaches us that a born-again Christians should be baptized as an outward sign to their commit to Jesus.

Baptism should ONLY come after you make a personal commitment to put your trust and faith in Jesus Christ.
Before a person is baptized, they should understand the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for our sins and their own need to be forgiven of their sins.
If someone is baptized as a kid because of family tradition, it is best that they are re-baptized again when it a decision made based on their own free will.

The first six points are valid. The seventh is based on multiple mistakes:
1- that the thief was never baptized. That can’t be proven.
2- the thief was forgiven before Jesus died, and therefore before the New Testament came into effect (Hebrews 9:16-17).
3- Every verse that speaks of the purpose of baptism says it’s “unto the remission of sins,” “to save us,” “to wash away our sins.” Never is it said to be “an outward sign of an inward grace” or anything similar.

We cannot wash away our own sins by our own power, but we can submit to the authority of God (Matthew 7:21).

I liked the explanation through faith and God's grace is Salvation which is truth, and all the work is on the cross, I like to picture it like this: faith is like this conveyor belt that should lead you through repentance, baptism in water, and receive the gift of the holy spirit. I like how urgent for the church in the New Testament was those things that in a short period all these things were done ASAP!

I’ve been a follower of Christ for a while now and the assurance and security of my salvation has been a large focus of mine for a while
How can I reconcile this with the fact that church history for so long disagreed with the point that one could have assurance. I want to have a clear understanding of salvation and my relationship with Jesus

I was just baptized on Saturday!. It was a pretty amazing experience, although it was over too fast to really take in the moment. Maybe thats a good thing though, since I was on a stage in front of probably 1500 people and would have been really nervous if I was up there for much longer. I had already been baptized as a baby (Catholic at that time I think), but I was an atheist as a teen, and I also don't think baptism is meaningful unless you are actually making the choice. I've been a Christian for 17 years now, but have been growing in my faith lately, and decided it was finally time for me to do this.
As amazing as baptism was, the really amazing part was seeing all of the other people being baptized, especially the young people and teens. There were a bunch of middle school aged kids getting baptized at the same time, and seeing people at that age choosing to be baptized, and actually being excited about Jesus was incredible. I feel like this new generation is so lost, but seeing young gen Z'ers passionate about their faith restored my faith a bit.

As someone that does to a church with thousands of people. I always found it hard to take the step to get baptised in front of that many people. I have EXTREME social anxiety. I can hardly talk to one person. 😢 I’ve seen Christian counselor, I’ve been prayed for… I’m in my mid 30s and still struggle. I’m single and hope to be married but talking and making friends is hard for me even in church.

I was baptized recently in private by my pastor and was baptized as a child. I chose to do this again as a true declaration of my faith and my change in heart due to Jesus Christ. He didn’t submerge me my church doesn’t have that ability… am I still good?

I have always planned to be baptized but I didn’t really prioritize it because I didn’t have any knowledge of it being commanded. I just thought it was a symbol of being saved. i accepted Jesus as my savior about 2 years ago now. iv slowly developed worse and worse anxiety since, which has led to worrying all day constantly, panic attacks, and constant fear. it’s one reason i have put off baptism for so long. i know how important it is and so badly want to but want it to be a beautiful thing that i’m excited to do. not something i go into with fear. i’m not sure what to do.

I don’t want to put it off, but I’m really hoping to get baptized this fall because I want my best friend to do it. She’s been such a positive influence in my life and helped lead me to Christ initially before I dedicated myself to Him years later, and she was amazingly supportive through everything. I'm Orthodox and they baptized me when I was an infant, these couple of months I really went back to Jesus and accepted him as our Lord and Saviour. Should I get baptized again? The churches told me no because I already got baptized.
If You were an infant then baptism is something you should to identify with Christ death, burial, and resurrection. Do it if possible but John 3:1-8 shows you the most important thing you can do.
I have heard from both sides of believers baptism and infant/convental baptism. Both have had some good scriptural backing up each interpretation of Scripture. when I have asked people about this.
Baptism has been on my mind for some time. However, I've been putting it off because of the requirements of having to be a member of the church and taking classes before being baptized. The pressure of that makes me nervous, but then again, I could be standing in my own way. Please keep me in prayer.

The eunuch didn't have to take classes to get baptized he believed in his heart That Jesus christ was the son of God and he was ready to get baptized and even told Philip what prevents me or hinder me to be baptized here in this water .
