Awesome video. I don't have any daddies or helpers either and people at the track seem to help reluctantly, so I am in the market for a lift stand as well. How much would you stay the stand itself weighs? Some of the powered ones are 100 lbs! Also, does it fold up nicely for transport?
One of the great things about this stand is that it weighs about 40-70 pounds, so I can could fold it and stow it away in my van along with my go kart. Yes, it does fold I'm going to make a video about how I fit all of all of my go kart/stand and tools in my van, stay tuned for that video.
Extremely essential video. We need videos like these for those of us who are on our own in this sport. This is brilliant. Im plannimg on buying my first kart and was worried about how im going to get my baby in the truck. How do you transport yours? Trailer? Pickup? Van? Or?
Thanks frosty! I have a van that I use to transport my go kart. With your truck it should fit you would have to remove the side pods and front bumper and wheels to get it to fit. What sort of truck do you have? I've seen folks fit their go kart in a wagon but it was a tight fit.
@@AJsRacingJourney im buying everything together. So a truck first (i need to bring it home lol) i was thinking a 2003-06 Tacoma (not the tiny tacomas) maybe? I work in the pool business so the truck will serve two purposes. I also plan to put a bed roof for my truck. Heres what i really wanna know. Can these carts (tires and bumpers removed) fit through a standard doorway? I dont have a garage and my backyard isnt an option.
Nice man, Tacoma will do fine. Also it would really help with the bed roof since you'll have tons of stuff once you load all the kart, tools, and everything else. Yes it is possible to fit it through a doorway by tilting it sideways and you'll need another person to help you. I used to live in an apartment and the only way to store it is to put it through in one of the extra room I had :) Let me know if you want to know anything else. Thanks.

@@AJsRacingJourney how heavy are these karts approximately?
Typically between 260-290 lbs depending on what engine you have. Obviously shifter motor would be heavier than the tag or 4 stroke engine due to size.
Very nice video man! Keep on doing your Karting tutorials! Please do more technical tutorials for the Kart itself. You just got a new subscriber ;)
Thanks man! I will definitely do that.
