I never thought about it, but yes, English mustard is much hotter than American mustard (which is similar to German mustard). The ready-made stuff in bottles is hot, but the powdered Colman's stuff that you make yourself is even hotter (not seen so much these days).

    • @tilerman

I'm guessing each of the stalls at this market pay silly rents to the market owners. And there is zero parking around the market so getting all the food and equipment to the market must be real hassle. Then there is VAT, taxes etc etc. When we are out and about we all tend to compare eating out prices to what we can make it for at home, im guilty of that! But having said all that, yes, the food in this market is expensive. I live and work all around London and always take a flask and my own grub even on my days off when I go walkabout.

I don’t think it’s expensive if you are looking for quality street food. You can get most thing for under 10£ better than 5/7£ McDonald’s menu anyway. But if you want cheaper options and still pretty good quality you should visit Brick Lane. There are lots of food courts and stalls with amazing food!

Cool video! The grilled cheese looked good. TJ's on the video! You know you liked that random girl that tried your food & dropped a bite as she ate more of your food. Weird. TJ was like, tell them about the girl! 😆😍❤🤘👊

I 100% know exact where that Beigel Bakery is located and I didn’t even go in there when I visited. Just walked by. Very interesting and surprising to recognize places you’re visiting.

It amazes me how you manage to keep your appetite piqued for the duration of the video. The cheese toastie would have been enough for me.

Yay, you went to the Beigel Bakery in Brick Lane! I used to live about 15 mins walk from there. Are you going back there later for a Brick Lane curry? Some of the curry houses there do authentuic Bangladeshi dishes you can't get snywhere else. And you have to have a look round Taj Stores, the most amazing Bangladeshi/Asian supermarket. And save some space for some delicious Bangladeshi sweets!
