My name is Nikki Blackketter! I live in Los Angeles, California currently, I moved here from Texas! I am a short human, a cat lover, and a total kid at heart. I make vlogs, try-on hauls, workouts etc that are mostly about fitness & weight lifting workouts and adventures with my roommate, friends, boyfriend, family, and cat / feline companion. They show how I balance being young, having fun, and being in a healthy relationship, with working out and making sure my diet and health is on point to keep a nice, toned figure.

If you can find the unsweetened version of that protein plus milk, the macros are 2f, 1c, 5p, and it still tastes great!

I live in Toronto, Canada and i pay about $150 to $200 a week on groceries and i HATE it!!! Once i went to whole foods, bought 5 things and it was $50.... i think you did pretty good! :)
In Australia we regularly have to spend $300+ for a full weekly shop for a family. It sucks balls.

I can get 4 COOKED chicken breast from Whole Foods in Arkansas for $13 or less....that's crazy you had to pay $18. But, I only buy eggs, meat and produce from Whole Foods. Just can't buy it anywhere else now that I've "seen the light" lol!

maybe you can grab the doggies some second hand shoes from value village or something so they can chew and have their own as they will probably do it anyways :) Love you guys!
I've been buying all organic for about 3 years now, I live on the east coast but things should be cheap out there being close to most of the farms etc. I will say that most "wholefoods" and other small stores are marked up beyond reason. It's a lose/lose but you're in it to save money and they're in it to make money. I shop at wegmans which is still family run but labels are rather deceiving too. I'm pretty sure that to be organic USDA allows things to be organic stamped if they contain 95% organic ingredients so most organic stamped things really aren't fully organic. Keep in mind processed food is still processed junk whether it's organic or not, Organic meats according to USDA are usually allowed to be considered organic if they follow the guidelines of feeding them only organic feed etc 6 months before the time of being butchered. I would invite you to research the USDA labeling gimmicky crap that they allow and like you said shop in season and perhaps find a local market that may or may not offer produce/eggs or meats that are free range, grass fed or organic etc.
