man, I completely forgot how much I love this band. they’re like a sugar rush without any of the consequences. possibly the most entertaining frontman of any band ever too
Those people can't be trusted if they hate The Hive. The Hive look absolutely amazing live I wish I went and saw their concert in Australia when they came down here as a support act for AC⚡️DC.
@@Mooorino i'd still consider them underrated in a more general sense (rather than critically), they're ranked best live band by a bunch of big music magazines but I meet far more people who don't know them (or at most only know a couple of their biggest hits just through pop culture but not the band itself) than people who do know them, hell I'm in the rock music group at my uni (one of the UK's biggest) and still most people I've talked to in there dont know/actively listen to the Hives

I can honestly say they were one of the best acts i've seen and heard in person in my life. Definetely top 3! And i spend way too much money going to festivals and concerts xD
+Darren Beam MUSE puts on a very expensive (LED, bright colours, an orchestra) show, but they don't exactly have the same energy level, Matt Bellamy is always behaving well unlike being a madman a real rock'n'roller should be.
Bands like Muse and Arcade Fire tend to be very flashy with their stage production (not that that's a bad thing), but what impresses me is that The Hives are VERY economic and their concert is solely based on their energy, body language and crowd interaction.
+heppolo That's true, I've seen Muse live in 2013 when they came over to Australia and Matt only jumps around as well as have lots of laser and light displays which also have a lot of energy in the concert but it's not as crazy as a Hive concert where it's all completely nuts and extremely high energy.
Being in the crowd for this was insane!!!! It turned into a dust bowl and I'm still coughing up shit from it, so worth it though. Its was a beautiful to see so many people going crazy.....
Such a great band to see live, they deserve to headline shows like Reading and Glastonbury, not be on this early in the day. They get a crowd this hyped up this early and that deserves a lot of credit.
Saw these guys for the first time last week as they were opening for AC DC I must say I didn't know who they were as didn't many people that were at the concert but we all went crazy for them after about two minutes they are awesome.
Only saw them once, astoria 2001 which was meant to be supporting int noise conspiracy in an all swedish line up. but they blew up and topped the bill. Done hundreds of bands since and that still is in my top 10 gigs. Such a great punk band with great tunes.
I'm sorry but the bit where he's screaming Nicholaus's name to hype him up while the camera cuts to and holds on the complete wrong member of the band is so god damn funny to me
All the 2024 bands charging what they charge for tickets now & come sing a few songs, should be ashamed after seeing the crowd engagement & effort put forth by this man to send the people home with their monies worth which wasn't even a fraction of what you charge but they're worth 10 times more than you! .....Show business has taken a grave turn over the last 30 years & it's terrible
I am 72 and I cannot believe I missed these guys. I dig them the most.
Kids, this is how it's done.

Yes indeed!!
No doubt. And they're STILL getting it done!

Perry Farrell, bro. But this performance kicks ass, I grant you that
You should have seen The Prodigy concerts before you post such statement :)

hell they have ninja roadies!
Meh they’re kinda repetitive
Because not all are gay
That freeze was awesome.
I think this was their best freeze ever. 😅
But was it too late? (necro)
The msot underrated front man of all time. His energy is unmatched incredibly charismatic with a great voice
Not really.. They have been ranked as one of the best live band in history by some of the largest magazines in the world.

To be honest, I’m not a fan of this band, but when I see a concert recording I can’t tear myself away. Their energy is so attractive.
they're one of very few artists who are worth going to see live even if you're not into the music
So cool it hurts😢😢😢😢😢
They are from my hometown :)
+Jock87 Well hello neighbour :P
Axl Rose?? Jagger?? How come is this guy not more popular?? He is just amazing
haha "Alright selfie time!"
This song still 🔥 2023 🤟🏽🤘🏾
Dude these guys are sick live. I remember hearing their hits growing up but wtf is their stage show? Its a rowdy bunch!!!
Phenomenal live act
saw them open for ac/dc when i was 12.. pretty electrifying
Hahaha i remember when he threw the water at 5:01 he hit a cameraman square in the head and got so pissed off about his camera being drenched
YEAAAAAH!!!!

Simply Brilliant
These guys Rock😎
Quién en julio 30 de 2021 viendo este video y extrañado un chingo los conciertos?
If I was there, the two poor idiots next to me would be wasting their time helping me up rather than "going crazy." Damn my stupid middle-age knees.

If they play too late the place explodes. It's not possible
I wouldn't wanna be the following act, that's for sure!
First of all, this has to be one of the best live rock performances ever. Second of all, these guys are singlehandedly keeping Rock and roll alive.
Sammy G. Foo fighters
You should search "The Hives New York". THAT was a show!
Look at this song live in New York video black and white. Gives me goosebumps, man.

Man, they got old. I started listening to them 12 years ago or so, and haven't seen their faces for 5 years.
old?? go watch some current live video's from The Sonics. They're well in their 60's and rock harder than most young bands do
