Good info. Would have liked to have seen which wire went to which pole on the switch.
Doing this method, you don't need relays or a circuit breaker? It's alot easier. Is there any cons of doing it this method?
I didn’t use any additional relays since the trim system already has them. This method just taps in to the factory wiring like an extension almost. Come is just more wiring to worry about but i think it’s more simple then breaking apart the control box and risk losing components or actually breaking stuff in there
What if the blue or green are not there, how do we run from engine/tilt?
Look for the relays that are related to that system you should see one wire coming from each going into the control box harness, if not try to trace the wire up in to the motor then out starting from the trim pump.
You can change that controller switch for $15 dollars today
