Those are the fans they're playing for, the ones who recognise tribute and inspiration in an artist's journey. So no, their fanbase is fine and they can keep doing what they do best so they can weed out of the single-celled organisms who keep sucking life out of Origin of Symmetry like heroin addicts still desperately clawing backward to recreate their first high.
It's pretty much all that I have ever wanted to say to the other Muse fans. The dumb ones. This is a good cover but they complain. They still do with Simulation Theory when what they only do is experimenting like at each new album. Plus, I like the way they try new things each time. And to quote my fucking hero (Cody Carson): "Let me show you something new" (from the album Upside Down) Here. Only new things will be approved.
As an oldish fan, I want to stress that I love the direction Bellamy took to use the albums to basically tell parallel narratives about the crumbling of society from multiple points of view, loved drones, and wasn't necessarily streaming thought contagion on repeat but liked the 80s synth rock mythos it added to
He has always been in the black Parade. Seems like he's mimicing a shady and evil lurking submissive. Incredibly, but always showing his sense of humour. He is great. All are gorgeous. Holmes looks so cool, I'm still A-mused by this one. :)

There's a lot of great old music out there and I hope its influence doesn't die. Great art is built on the foundation of other great art. That's how it's always been. I typed the title on RUclips and listened to the original first (because the video doesn't work in Germany and I only thought later about using a prooxy server). But they are just lazy and... Well have apparently no culture nor curiosity.
