The final 4 bosses in order are Watase, Kuze, Andre, and Shibusawa
Glad they kept the boss theme from the original ishin game, would’ve considered this the worst kiwami remake if takeuchi literally had shibusawa’s theme.
Well no they would've just made a remix theme like some of the other replacements. And I wouldn't call it worst just for that.

Nakano is such a great actor, I loved him in the Outrage movies, and I'm glad he got such a substantial and emotional role in this game.

I love how this essentially combines Kiryu versus Shibusawa and Kiryu vs Nishiki while also surpassing both of them due to the stronger and more powerful bond between Ryoma and Takechi.
Yes being able to rise above their differences and being able to reconcile is pretty great. don't always have to go against the most optimistic outcome, sometimes it fits the story more.
Having Shibusawa was a spoiler from the start.
In a way it makes sense having Shibusawa in this role, really fits.

But at the same time, it makes it too obvious he’s the final boss imo. Kinda wished they went with the original actor.

@@bonkgameing yes, if you play the original, you’d be damn near certain that Takechi and Ryoma would eventually team up. But in the remake, knowing that Kiryu’s “brother” is Shibusawa makes it very obvious where the story is going to go. Every character in the game reflects their Yakuza counterpart to an extent, bad guys stay bad in Ishin (expect for Ryuji).
@@LongLiveSK I don’t remember kashiwagi being bad, and baba being on our side. Besides, in chapter 2, it is literally revealed that Takechi was involved in the murder of Yodo, so that argument is completely invalid.
That remaster/remake was simply excellent. (From Devilleon7 who's the biggest Yakuza fan on RUclips)
Plus, it is maybe one of my only 2 games of 2023 that might be excellent.

@@qoxxas someone unfamiliar with these characters, it was obvious anyway. I figured I would end up fighting Takechi at some point very early in the story.
Really happy they didn't replace the final theme with a Two Dragons remix.
I wish there was a remix in a boss fight in the mission mode or something in a boss rush.

I would have been REALLY disappointed if it was anyone other than Jingu. I honestly can't see Yodo be replaced with anyone else.
This game really is a celebration of all the Yakuza games, they even brought back the shitty Jingu plot twist

I get the metaphor of youth but I wanted the white beard and the fire sword when he was whit the mask fighting but it was a great ending for japan very inspiring
Like a dragon ishin has a little bugs like: Missing texture, at a Cutscene where ryoma try to cut yodo head his voice is kinda Earrape,And a ryoma blinking cutscene look kinda glitch.
Kinda unrelated but does anyone know why there’s almost no videos on ishin? Would’ve expected a lot more by now
Yakuza series is still underrated
I used to see so much cliché of a villain shooting at the end of boss fight I got a feeling Takechi won't make it.

I just finished the game and like every game in this franchise i was absorbed in the world and story

So I take that this is the rematch between Kazuma Kiryu and Keiji Shibusawa
I also think that you may restart the match, due to different thumbnail when the boss name appeared

It looks like it’s there from what I see in that cutscene before the final stage but it looks like they repositioned it so it isn’t visible unless you go onto the balcony

the only fucking way this game could have been solid as fuck for me is if the health bars weren't so fucking low and just one. like cmon man. that's the thing i hate about nu-Yakuza. it's either 1 or 2 health bars and that's it

In this game Shibusawa is "Kiryu" Ryoma's brother aka Nishikiyama's role as opposed to Okada Izo which is a stranger to both of them.

If you don’t use cards I’m sorry to say you guys will be doing little damage all game, cards even the playing field and only the “ beat dark souls knife only “ players will be able to do it without losing their sanity
@@KhunShawn considering that I see you haven’t even unlocked some of the basic heat move chains for swordsman I’m gonna doubt that. I’m no damaging bosses on legend with zero focus on the cards and I’d say it’s fair without the cards. Maybe we just focused on different things.

I think I prefer the original, taking Shibusawa for this role seems like a strange chioce. Having an original character was nicer, but if they had to choose another character, Shibusawa is just... strange

The funny part is that the yodo guy wasn’t entirely incorrect. His methods were completely immoral but his overall perspective of “isolationism doesn’t work” is 100% correct. Japanese game devs can cope all they like , but at the end of the day Americans kicked their doors down , made a bit of piece between the two then Japan decided to fight on the wrong team in way down the line because they believed their own hype….then they got severely punished for making such a grave mistake. To this day their constitution is written by america …..they are a vassal state and I really wish their artists would reflect on that reality lol
