Her timing and interpretation is Perfect!
I saw her live in Atlanta- I loved her! So much passion, wit and great voice.
The lovely unmistakable sound of a Hammond organ coupled with a Leslie tone cabinet, nothing better!
Love the sound of her swinging voice !
Oh that groove at the start just makes me melt
What this lady does is special, and her musicians wonderful ,thank you so much

Thanks, for the art! If I ran the multiverses, I would sign, an executive action, to have more of it, that would cut to the chase.
Sempre com belíssimas músicas e bons show
Потрясающе!
A real vintage Wurlitzer EP, wow. Good sound.
Aren't those wurlies great?

guitarist filing nails at 16:15 -THAT'S a first...
😷👏👏👏👏👏
I think she sounds better in the studio than live.
I can't understand what happened to Madeleine. After such an auspicious debut (Dreamland), she became almost bureaucratic.
Even in the studio, Half The Perfect World is very disappointing.
I agree with Eurobubble70, weak singing and lack of passion.
@@strombolitic :
Man, what are you talking about?! She sings brilliantly!
NOW she's back, thank heavens. I was talking about the past, the strange dips in her career. Remember when she simply disappeared for a number of years? I searched extensively, and the only reference I could find was an interview where she complained about the lack of medical insurance for musicians! Incomprehensible.
@@strombolitic :
Okay then ! :-)
Who is Ferguson that Madeleine mentions about 53:00 - 54:00? Don't see name listed in credits.
53:36 Madeleine Peyroux introduces an American guitarist & harmonica player Patrick "Pat" Bergeson.
Bill evans trio
Madeleine looked gorgeous in 2009 ! 🙄
the second track has exact groove of john schofield " green tea"
To Paul Atreides, 2 weeks ago: What are you talking about? And why such language here?
so many snobs here , just can't relax and enjoy - got to be critical , cause your life has amounted to ... nothing
Too much jazz i complain about. :D
Hopefully of lifts up the phone stalker crap.
Que lastima que falten los bajos...jazz es ritmo con base.
not good ?? off key...?? bad timing...?? but band is good....
Like in Russians
That,s not JAZZ, Pop maybe, but not JAZZ.
Never heard of artistic Freedom & Crossover?
I'm not a fan of Madeleins but I enjoyed this gig, my player was on auto and went to this. Only from a 'Jazz' audience would you get that kind of crap, "the bass is too loud", the only kind of audience who are confused into thinking that a performance has got something to do with THEM. What other audience has that kind of arrogance?. She should've told them to fcku off, or at least to fickung move till the volume of the bass suited the cnuts. I dunno about Madeleins drinking habits, I don't care, tho somebody told me that you had to be an alky to be a Jazzer. The same person mentioned that a lot of a Jazz audiences are probably alcoholics who failed at playing a musical instrument. I heard there's no such thing as a (legitimate) Jazz fan anyway. Jazz is pointless except for Louis Armstrong, who was better than Jazz anyway. btw, I genuinley thought the bass was too low in the mix afterwards. Forgive me having an opinion, I know opinions are looked on glumly on these pages. Only one opinion, this one in 8 years tho.
Haha. You're drunk
Charlie McLeod, you really are laughable.Jazz audiences are made out of people who can play. The alcoholics listen to rock.
I agree with you about the bass. I thought the volume was fine. Otherwise you’re full of shit!
Perfect example why autotune is such a shitty idea...
Wow!!!😂🤣😂how Fucking embarrassing for the BASS PLAYER!!! - Perhaps Madeleine Should also be asked to lay off constantly channelling her inner Billie Holiday.🤔🤨🙄
