I’ve been a member of OA, over eaters anonymous,for 10 years and with diet and exercise, OA, personal therapy, family support, weight loss surgery and Mounjaro, I’ve lost 100lbs and kept it off for 3 years. I will do anything to help me with my condition. ALR and Foodie just want sympathy and to make excuses.

In the throes of my addiction, if I had known I would die in a week if I didn't stop - I would still not have been able to stop. I don't know what the mystery was of the day I was able to finally train my sobriety, or achieve it the first time: I think I just got very lucky. The one thing I did right was that I kept trying. Sick, unhealthy people do. It's rotten that more people don't understand that it's all about the $$. Not about keeping ppl healthy. We're fed such lies by our own govt agencies it's honestly disgusting. Carbs are addicting too, that doesn't help someone already struggling. There is work for people who want work & there is weight loss for people who are willing to manage their own diet & activity level.
