@@circle3565 you're really innocent if you think these kind of things didn't happen in harem. I would say dramas are way more toned down than what happened in real. History doesn't show such things bcoz if these plots were known by outsiders or their heir then it would be said "oh that king or emperor was so weak he couldn't even keep his harem in control". Once you get a taste of power you crave for more & more. Princesses were nothing but a marriage offering to strengthen political relation. Princes they were nothing but a source to achieve more power.
Lots of prince died bcoz of poisoning or mysteriously. Ministers would do anything to marry their daughters to kings or princes & also make sure that their daughters produce "heir" for throne. Politics is wayyyyyy to dirty than we can imagine
Nah, the reality must be far worse than this drama. You are lucky if you never witnessed evil deeds done by your peers or neighbors for a temporary pleasure or a stack of money. And that's didn't even close to how people fought dirty for throne and power.
those dramas are based of novels by writers not real history they just take real historical name and slap it into their own fiction

They wore what is called flower pot shoes(flat shoe on a tall thin platform). The qing dynasty was founded by the Manchurians. They didn't believe in the foot binding practice (lotus feet) like other Chinese banners did. People have liked your comment which means they thinks you are right when you actually have know idea what you are talking about.
